We booked for nearer Dundas Road location 4 days prior, and were redirected to this Cawthra Road location since there were no trucks at Dundas. We arrived at Cawthra to find the office locked, BUT we did get someone via phone eventually. That person was apparently NOT just out briefly (we were willing to wait 40 minutes), BUT rather directed us via phone to scan and upload Drivers License, submit payment, and pick up truck key from drop-box via a secure code the person provided. The interior of the truck body was IMHO messy, and I swept it out myself, getting one fifth of a small shopping bag of debris and dirt. Similarly, the drop off in the night took about 50 minutes. There was nobody at the office though we got there early, and no one was answering the phone (we called 6 times). Eventually UHaul generic Customer Service was able to help us swiftly and politely. It was extremely cold while we waited to do the drop-off, and very uncomfortable for the 2 children with us. The truck status photo upload section of the UHaul app was extremely problematic, and accounted for at least 25 minutes of the time we waited. We took the 7 pictures at least 8 times, BUT each time the app found an error, despite our best attempts (3 persons alternatingly trying on a modern Android Samsung S22 phone) and with no real clues IMHO of what was wrong with the picture. Had there been a person at the counter, check-out and check-in would have been easy. IMHO, the thick dirt on the front door implies to me that door has not been opened in at least 2 days?

The lock does not work properly and the agent only talk on phone not show up. I drove only 10km (AVIVA & CAA Software) and I got charge for 16km.

I rented the truck on April 29. I sent you photos showing the fuel level before and after three times. I also called you and sent messages, and you said you would check with the supervisor, but you never got back to me. An amount of $63 was taken from my balance for fuel, which is incorrect. I will proceed with filing a complaint against you personally(Mohammed yusef), as I have always dealt with U-Haul and this is the first time I have experienced such a situation involving overcharging and misconduct.

Vehicle in very bad condition. Engine too old and rusty. Too much continuous horrible sound while driving. Very dangerous vehicle

The truck was filthy. I had to clean up before we could use it. Even the back of the truck needed sweeping out. We didn't get any moving blankets and we also didn't get any notice that they didn't have any at that location. Normally I have rented from a different location in Mississauga and my experience has usually been amazing. The only good thing I can say about this location is that they have good communication via text during the rental if you have any issues.

We book the vehicle at 8.30 pay everything . No one there to get the key no phone answer . Wait until 10 pm then we left from there . Next day they charged to my credit card 60$. Still that location phone number not working. Very bad location no customer service at all

No one was available to pick up the vehicle. Lock wouldn't open to take out the keys. No on site assistance was available. The rear end of truck won't open as it was frozen. The truck wasn't ready for use. There was dirt in the rear compartment of truck. I planned on completing my work the same day. But had to postpone a day later to finish it as no one was available on site to help unlock the rear kf truck. Sad this happened. It's the first time something like this happened at uHaul after renting so many times in the past. Customer service people seemed to be compassionate but couldn't provide immediate help as they couldn't replace my truck or send me to different location to ease my experience.

I have rented from Uhaul many times, I will never rent from this location at 2455 Cawthra Rd Mississauga ever again. No one at the site, no one answers the phone when you call, Uhaul representatives had a hard time getting ahold of the contact but got ahold of his business partner that was supposed to call me back right away but didn't. I spent way too much time on the phone dealing with this. The truck was running rough as well. Will never rent at a non staffed place again. No customer service, then I'll go to another provider

It wasn’t mentioned to me that the truck i rented was parked behind the unit! When i arrived there was a u haul truck parked in front of the unit so i drove it to my house. Then was informed that i took the wrong truck and return it asap!

U Haul Overcharged me. The amount charged to my credit card is greater than what's on the invoice although nothing was wrong on my end. Also, the movers booked through U-Haul bailed out on the last hour, I had to spend $600 for last minute movers. Worst Experience ever

The only issue I have is that when booking it asks if you want extras like a dolly etc. If you say yes they don't notify you that the location doesn't have them causing you to show up expecting it to be there but then told to go to a different location to get one. If I knew I would have just booked at the other location instead of asking me to make another two 15 minutes trip

We lost arpund 200$ and a lot of time as tehy didn't have the furniture dolly for the location We had to buy dolly and that cost us $200$ and we had called labour at 15# per hour. The non availability pf the dolly made us to pay the labour while thay had no work for 2 houra while we had to rush and get dolly

By far the best u-haul pick up / drop off experience that I’ve had at a third party location. Very responsive and accommodating, great communication with clear instructions to facilitate pick up and check in via mobile, with quick access to keys via lock box (great for returns after business hours). 5 stars, Highly recommend!

Truck had no fuel when taken possession. Garbage wrappers and coffee cups in cab. App wouldn’t let me check in for the rental. Locked buisness doors and the person who runs the show wasn’t even there to help…

Didn't have the equipment I ordered. There was no gas in the truck at pickup and the contract overstated how much was in there when I picked it up. Nobody onsite to speak to despite it being within working hours.
