We booked for nearer Dundas Road location 4 days prior, and were redirected to this Cawthra Road location since there were no trucks at Dundas. We arrived at Cawthra to find the office locked, BUT we did get someone via phone eventually. That person was apparently NOT just out briefly (we were willing to wait 40 minutes), BUT rather directed us via phone to scan and upload Drivers License, submit payment, and pick up truck key from drop-box via a secure code the person provided. The interior of the truck body was IMHO messy, and I swept it out myself, getting one fifth of a small shopping bag of debris and dirt. Similarly, the drop off in the night took about 50 minutes. There was nobody at the office though we got there early, and no one was answering the phone (we called 6 times). Eventually UHaul generic Customer Service was able to help us swiftly and politely. It was extremely cold while we waited to do the drop-off, and very uncomfortable for the 2 children with us. The truck status photo upload section of the UHaul app was extremely problematic, and accounted for at least 25 minutes of the time we waited. We took the 7 pictures at least 8 times, BUT each time the app found an error, despite our best attempts (3 persons alternatingly trying on a modern Android Samsung S22 phone) and with no real clues IMHO of what was wrong with the picture. Had there been a person at the counter, check-out and check-in would have been easy. IMHO, the thick dirt on the front door implies to me that door has not been opened in at least 2 days?

The lock does not work properly and the agent only talk on phone not show up. I drove only 10km (AVIVA & CAA Software) and I got charge for 16km.
Son LI rented the truck on April 29. I sent you photos showing the fuel level before and after three times. I also called you and sent messages, and you said you would check with the supervisor, but you never got back to me. An amount of $63 was taken from my balance for fuel, which is incorrect. I will proceed with filing a complaint against you personally(Mohammed yusef), as I have always dealt with U-Haul and this is the first time I have experienced such a situation involving overcharging and misconduct.

Dheeran KThe truck was filthy. I had to clean up before we could use it. Even the back of the truck needed sweeping out. We didn't get any moving blankets and we also didn't get any notice that they didn't have any at that location. Normally I have rented from a different location in Mississauga and my experience has usually been amazing. The only good thing I can say about this location is that they have good communication via text during the rental if you have any issues.
