I can not answer the question about the clean and inviting or the personal part. What I can tell you, the drop off portion was a complete joke. No personal was on site, per instructions on the door we were just clean it, check in and inform you the rental has been returned. The problem was no one at Uhaul what they were talking about. My account couldn't be located so I had to make many calls to get that straight. As I was trying to get it cleared up, there were 3 other people trying to return their rentals but all of us were having the same problem I was having. Not sure what it was the fact there stood 4 of your rentals trying to to return their rentals and we all had the same issue, it needs to be fixed for future customers. Nickie McIntoshNICKIE M.

We had reserved a 20' truck, car hauler, and dolly 2 weeks in advance to this location. However the morning we went to go pick all it all up, they did not have the truck or trailer. So they sent us to a different location to pick up the truck AND then to a different location to pick up the car hauler. AND on top of all of that, they did not have any dollies at any of these locations. Overall, it pretty much sucked and put us way behind on moving that day.MADELYN A.

The truck had a full bag off used tissues from someone blowing their nose which was right behind the drivers side seat. I drove 500 miles before I noticed it. I could have conceived COVID-19. SHAME on you all. Second, the truck beat the life out of me. I drove a thousand miles to Detroit area and ended up in the hospital with stomach and back issues for 24 hours. I had to have my sister drive the truck to the u-haul drop site for me. I will never recommend u-haul trucks for long hauls. Fyi. Air bags instead of a spring suspension. All your big trucks use them, you can too. I am very unhappy with u-haul.kenneth W.

I didn't really have a huge issue with this location in particular besides that online it said it was open until 5, but when I arrived at 4, the doors were locked and no one was there. I tried to check in for about 5 minutes, and kept getting an error. When I called the 800 number, I was told my reservation was cancelled, because I wasn't there by 4pm. My issue is with uhaul's online reservation system. If a vehicle isn't available, it shouldn't let you book it. I reserved a cargo van for $19.95. Right after I reserved it, I got a call from uhaul letting me know that the van wasn't available and the only thing I could reserve was a 15' truck. I said that was fine as long as it was also $19.95. The girl told me that she would change the price to $19.95. When I got my Bill, I was charged $79, not $19.95. I was only charged .29 per mile, instead of .69, so maybe the girl I spoke with changed the wrong rates. Either way, I was still charged more than I should have been. It wasn't worth calling and disputing, over $30 or so.Jamie S.

Being charged for 4 gallons of gas and only driving 25 miles seems extremely high. I drove 30-45 MPH and unless your truck is the worst truck for gas mileage I find it hard to believe that I used 4 gallons. I call BSMARK F.

TWO people connected the trailer at the pickup location. At the drop-off location there wasn't anyone physically able to help me take the trailer off and the foot plate was MISSING so I had to lift the 200 Ib trailer hitch off of the vehicle all by myself and it hurt my back.JOFFRY C.

My only complaint about this entire move is that the truck didn't have cruise control, power windows and locks, or power mirrors. I realize that things like that cost extra, but I would be willing to pay an extra $5-$10 for every rental for little things like that. When you are moving by yourself, power mirrors and windows are extremely important time savers. It took me at least 5-10 minutes just to get the mirrors right because I kept having to get out of the truck and adjust it and then get back to check it. You could definitely recoup the money expended on these "luxuries". The cruise control alone would have made my 500+ mile trip so much easier. Other than that, my entire experience was great.Jeremiah N.

Truck was really dirty in cab. The seats, handles, knobs, steering wheel, etc. was like it has never been wiped down or cleaned. We wiped down what we had to touch in the cab being cautious with the pandemic and all the wipes were instantly brown. The location was good and the person who was on site was very helpful and informative.Julene W.

24/7 pickup doesn't work well. Why is it still tied to a time if it's 24/7? I should not have to make a 25 minute phone call just to pick up my truck when I have 24/7 pickup. I should be able to pick up any time 24/7 without sitting on hold just to pick up a truck.David S.

I was told I'd be able to park the truck with my car on the auto transport to be able to load the UHAUL. That was incorrect information. The person that runs the drop off location in Dickinson, TX called to ask me to drop it off at another location since this one was full. He told me how to properly load my haul with that trailer(which was that it had to be taken off to remove the trailer / auto transport. He found me a drop off location still open to leave the trailer and my car for the night.Heather C.
