The only thing that did not happen is that the necessity of checking the straps on the auto transport when stopping to get gas was not explained and this was not done. When we arrived in Omaha the straps were completely off the tires of the vehicle and we were unaware of the hazard this posed.Phyllis V.

This site is a sideline operation for a nearby mobile home park and was not open on Sunday afternoon when I dropped the trailer off but man answering phone said he'd check the trailer in the next morning when they opened. I took photos to confirm drop-off with date and time stamp to show location and overall condition in case there were any problems later.Jeffrey Y.

To who May Concern: I returned the vehicle early with less millage that I was allowed..I did returned it at the wrong address because I didn't know there is 2 u-haul company on the same road. The man that received my paperwork early should've told me that I was on the wrong place, but no, he didn't even wanted to ck the truck when to see if anything was wrong on it. I think he just took advantage of the situation to make some extra money. I can't believe that a 44 mile trip with U-Haul would and an early returned (8 am to 3 pm) would cost me close to $200.00. The confusion started when 2 day before the rental I stopped there for information, he convince ,me to do a reservation from Benton to Paducah KY. and he told me to pick it up in Benton and to drop it over there at his place. I think they took advantage of me. I had open heart surgery 3 weeks previous I see how crooked dealers take advantage of people when they are down and build a bad reputation.. I've probably driven 5-6 of your trucks moving over the years. Always a good experience. I do need to tell someone that the steering in this one needs some tightening up, very loose. Kind of hard driving till you get use to moving the steering wheel and it not moving until you get about 6-7 inches in the turn.Kristie I.
We did self check-in on Saturday and there is no 4G signal there for Verizon. We had to take the pictures and then drive to where we could get a signal. When we went back to get the odometer and gas level, the app hadn't saved pur place and we ended up doing it by phone with customer service. Then we had problems dropping it off - it didn't recognize my password and we got error messages when we tried to change it. Again, we had to complete the transaction by phone with customer service.Peter G.

-- The computer didn't work, so I had to wait 45 minutes for the rental contract to print. -- I had originally reserved at Vienna, Illinois, 3 miles from my house. This location was over 30 minutes away. -- The "fifteen foot truck" only had 12 feet of floor space, so I had to make multiple trips in my private car to get the rest moved. -- The location had ZERO interest in addressing my concerns once the contract was paid. This was supposed to be a 24 hour drop off and when we arrived on Sunday eve. there was no identifying place to drop off the key and invoice. It was in a terrible area of town and there were all sorts of "locals" loiterring around that made it feel very unsafe. I had to call the 24 hour uhaul line to find out where to drop the key and FINALLY after looking it was in a very hidden place that made absolutely no sense at all!!!Cathy C.
