OMG...this location should NOT advertise self-pick up using one's phone - what an absolute nightmare. I spent over an hour and was not certain until the last second I would be able to get the key to the van I had rented. The store needs a wi-fi signal, the lockbox should be under a small roof, and the lockbox is garbage and needs to be replaced with something newer that will work easily. I was SO upset by how impossible it was to get into the lockbox. I uploaded my photo and info 5 times - it did not work. I finally called some number and the guy was pretty good at calming me down - I had many people waiting to help load the van - people who all needed to be somewhere else. WHAT a friggin' nightmare that was. NO ONE should ever have to endure this dreadful process.
Lynda WPerhaps clean up the outside around the office a bit. The building and grounds look abandoned.
Lynda WI had reserved 2 vehicles from an antique mall, and hadn't thoroughly read my text, so when I arrived to pick up 2 vehicles, I was told I had to go across town to this location. The gentleman who helped was kind enough, but slow and was not nearly as helpful as the people at the other location.

DONALD OI rented the trailer it was great. I rented the truck and it had no lights , it had less than an 1/8 of a tank of fuel. The guy told me it wasn't his job to make sure I had lights that I shouldn't drive at night. Mind you I had a 5 hr drive leaving his location at 530 pm ... he charged me a 100 cash deposit that I was told I wouldn't get back. I'd like to settle this without an attorney, but don't believe that's going to be possible because when I called customer service to ask what I should do, I was told to get a life and hung up on... not how I do business. I was completely shocked. I know you're a huge company and have more attorneys than you'd need and I m just the little guy... and I'm sure no one really cares that they gave your company a bad name... treating people right and not ripping them off just isn't important to big guys like.you... 100 bucks means nothing to you.. but its a big deal to me..
Aram YLoading area was filthy I put blanket down to keep things clean and I cleaned it out so the person didn’t have to worry.

Ray HOverall, good impression with the staff and the location. I received a dirty truck, however, and the windshield wiper blades were in disrepair. They had no replacement blades so I had to purchase my own for a cross-country drive in the rain. U-Haul would not cover the cost of replacement blades, citing that as a local rental outlet obligation. Not sure where the buck stops, but wipers in good working order is a safety issue and should not be missed on a truck inspection.

Nichole DI also had to rent this truck for 4 days,due to a mobile home owner backing out at the last minute. Leaving me with a loaded truck. It rained all day on Saturday and finally found a storage on Sunday to get it unloaded. Returned it before 4:45, clean,gas filled and put the keys in lock box. I had every intention to use your storage, but not after that experience with the other location. I also worked for Uhaul in Janesville back in 2016,so I know how it all works. I am on disability and this whole experience costed so much more than I anticipated. I haven't had time to check into Corporate account. If there is any chance of consideration with my cost,it would be so much appreciated. I am not putting this out into the media,because that hurts this location and I will not do that. I haven't settled with my balance yet and have given $200.00 cash so far. Have a good day and God bless 🙌
Brittany KQuick and easy rental. Facility was clean. Only feedback i have is to Sweep the cargo van mat next time as there was some dry mid from previous renter/rentals

Mark HTruck bed was not swept out and cab was dusty/ dirty with garbage on floor and in cup holders. Truck was on empty when I picked it up. Was told it has a 40 gallon tank, so I put in 30 gallons to use so that I would leave gas at a 1/4 full. But it put it at full and I ended up dropping truck off with over a 1/2 of fuel. More than I needed to.

STACY TThere was nothing wrong with the place I rented the U-Haul from. The breaks on the truck I was driving were not good. They were almost to the floor! The problem lies within U-Haul. The app seriously sucks! It took me almost 2 hours to finally get the keys. This isn't the first time I rented a U-Haul, wasnt the first time it has taken over an hour and a half but it will be the last. I will go with Penske from now on.
Emily Ci have rented trailers multiple times under my name and sent a family member to pickup without an issue. This reservation had to be changed from a different location because of equipment availability. I made it very clear to the customer service representative that my son or father would be picking up the trailer. When my son arrived they cancelled my existing reservation, made a new one for him, which changed the card being used to pay and they added the $40 insurance which I had declined. My son had never rented before so had no idea what was going on.

Brandon EDon't overcharge your customers call them one thing and then when he gets to the U-Haul dealer your prices up and you got stuff added to it that you didn't order so now I have to wait by business days to get reimbursed that's not acceptable
Bradley OThey close at 5 do not show up 45 minutes early they charge you extra. Show up 10 minutes before and make them stay late to do their paperwork

Debra JOwner wasn’t very friendly. Cargo area of truck needed to be swept Only two bars on my cell signal, was unable to upload photos to UHaul during my after hours return process.
SCOTT SI went to pick up The trailer at the location designated in my text message and they said they do not rent trailers out of that location and they never have. They sent me to another location which I drove to luckily I called Ahead because I got 5 minutes from the location and the location and they said they didn't have a trailer available for me either. So I had to drive back 10 miles in the opposite direction I just came to pick up a trailer. Got started an hour and 15 minutes later than I should have. Lost my loading help in Illinois because I was late and lost my unloading help in Ohio because I was late. I contacted u-haul and all they could do was apologize and stated that the trailer was not brought back on time that was supposed to be picked up at the location. When I explained that the Person at the location said they've never run to trailers out of that location location the person On the phone said that was a lie. So I don't know who's lying or if they just don't want to admit that they screwed up. This is the 2nd bad experience with u-haul in a row and customer service doesn't care. This experience ended up costing me quite quite a bit because I wasn't able to deliver at the specific time I said I would deliver. I would definitely recommend not renting from uhaul if you could At all help it.

FRANCIS RBoth the truck and trailer were dirty on the inside. We had to sweep them both out when we got the trailer home.
Michael NThe trailer lights didn't work at time of pick up. It took 30 minutes to get them to work. I think this truck and trailer should have been checked prior to pick up so it was ready to go.
Michael NStop charging people $7,00 a day for using a dolly. Should come with the rental.
Larry BBusiness was very cluttered. Staff was unfriendly. We have rented a similar trailer to pull with our SUV before & pulled fine. This trailer pulled like crap.

Brian Pi was told the gas tank on truck was full. Got in and found needle a little under empty. So when returning I filled up to that same point. Was not happy to find I was charged for additional 2 gallons at over 5 dollars a gallon. I went 43 miles in a small 10 foot truck. I put in 4 gallons before returning. If it needed an additional 2 galloons that means that small truck was getting 7 miles too the gallon!!!! So obviously it was not full when I received it.

Chad SPick and delivery was seamless. Staff was nice and easy to work with. I left an expensive toolbox and cooler in the back of the truck and they called right away to let me know so that I could pick a time to come back and get it.
