Brian JI had an emergency need for a trailer to retrieve my broke down motorcyle from the side of the road. I called about 15 minutes before this location closed and the person working (a saint!) waited an extra 30 minutes after closing so I could pick up the trailer and get my bike off the raod, amazing!!
RICHARD Rdidnt encounter any problems any time renting at this location the last three years i have rented a cargo van great people to deal with.
KEVIN DIt would be nice if you, U-haul, set up some type of rewards or credit program for loyal users. We have rented from you 3 times this year alone and each time have returned the unit early, twice with less mileage than we estimated (with no deduction for that?) and fully fueled and cleaned. Just a thought!

Maria LWe had to use this location, and was allowed 97 miles. We needed to travel to clearemont and back thru Newport then to our destination (Nashua). Very tight milage, I think we may have exceeded the limit. I do not know yet if we were charged extra.

MARK EThe equipment was quite used. However it fit my needs. I questioned the verify of dents and rusted areas. I believe it had been in accidents over the years. I was assured I wouldn’t be assessed any damaged claims having purchased the insurance. Also, I was not sure where I would be able to drop it off, as I had two possible destinations. As it turned out I called a local dealership and the gentleman explained his shop was a dealership and that he could accept it. I swept it clean and dropped it off. He said I was good to go no paperwork was needed. I returned to Virginia from Bew Hampshire and there was an additional charge. So my long story is the pick up was great, the technician helped me with the hook up and checking the electrical system. However, the drop off seems questionable with the extra charge. I’ve been loyal since 1973. Hopefully next time I’ll get better drop off service. Perhaps someone can review my record of this trip and provide an explanation. I may have missed something. MICHAELDAVID BWe had issues with a previous place that carried Uhauls and it did not go well so we got directed to Sears of Newport for one. It was super quick and efficient! The guy was super nice and we had no problems from the moment we got thru the door to the moment we dropped off the Uhaul! Thank you so much 💓

Peter BOnly open till 2:00 on Sunday afternoon so that was when I had to pick it up and unfortunately I couldn't get it back till 3:30 the next day so they charged me for a whole another day
Scott GWe asked for written paperwork but were told it would be sent by email. When it was time to return the trailer, the U Haul website was not working. We took the trailer to the return site we thought had been designated, only to be told they did not do trailers. I prefer a written contract.

Edward BI was charged $30 for dolly and pads - I never needed to use them (I have my own!!) and they were still locked to the wall of the bed when the truck was returned. Please refund the $30. Thanks

jay pI called ahead for drop-off since I arrived back a day earlier than expected and Bill was incredibly helpful. I told him I was not a skilled trailer driver and backing-up made me uncomfortable, so he easily accommodated a drop off spot when I got there and made the drop off super easy and zero hassles. Great location, good people.

JOHN AYour fuel policy is killing your vehicles. You should rent them full and then require that we return it full - the math is the same, but it’s better for the customer and the vehicle. Leaving a truck on 1/4 tank in the winter is dangerous.

ARTHUR HTruck had a hard time starting and staying running. Drove it 5 miles up the road and pulled over at gas station. Had to put gas in it as it had 40 miles till empty when picked up. Opened the back at the gas station and it was filthy! Dirt and mud! Put gas in it and drove it back and dropped it off! This location sucks and truck was unacceptable! Never again!
