I called at 8:00am to see when they open. She replied 8:30 . I showed up at 8:30 but nobody was there to unhook the trailer. She then told me I was to wait until 9:30 in the parking lot in103* temperature with no shade whatsoever! I voiced my frustration and they then refused to accept the trailer. I had driven 1200 miles in the past four days and I had to put up with this at the end.

TROY WThe person who helped me was awesome. Very polite and professional. My only complaint is that I received a 10’ truck and the inside was dirty with trash in it. The back was full of dirt. I had to clean it out when I got home. The guy asked if I wanted him to clean it out I said no, mainly because they were getting busy and I personally didn’t want to make his job more. The one thing was that it leaked water when we encountered rain. It looked like it must have gotten a new windshield and possibly wasn’t sealed all the way.But I did make sure that when I dropped it off to the new location it was cleaned before I returned it

ALBERTO DI went to pick up a Trailer to tow my car but was in formed the trailer was stolen the nite before. I asked Kim (i think that was her name) what they were going to do about my rental and she just gave me a blank stare and told me I needed to call uhaul and were not helpful at all. They tried to send me 20-50 miles to another location, but I was a single driver with 2 vehicles. I had a friend help me drop off the car while I drove my RV to the location. After calling uhaul they set me up with a car dolly. When I was told where to pick up the car dolly, Kim questioned my ability to drive my RV. Once we got the dolly hitched to the RV, the tail lights connection was incompatible. They said that they sold converters that would work. I bought a converter, but it was still the wrong type. I asked for my money back, but was told that all sales were final. "There 's sign that says that." Was the snooty reply. Once I found the right converter, I asked for help loading up my car to the dolly. I was told that they were not allowed to do it because they were not Uhaul and didn't have any training. Said there was a QR code I could scan and download the instructions. I looked and no QR code. Asked for a pamphlet or inarticulate I could refer to and was told to look it up on YouTube, they are not uhaul and can't do it. The rent Uhaul equipment, sell Uhaul supplies- boxes, tape, blankets- but are not Uhaul? It finally took me almost 4 hours to get on the road -- something that should have taken less than an hour.
SALLY MKimberley- the manager has to of been the rudest individual I have ever met. She did not want to help me return the trailer. When I asked her who her supervisor was, she did not want to tell me. Told me her supervisor was Security Public Storage. I would like to say that Andrew, the one I got the trailer from is amazing and very kind. I usually get trailers from another location, I probably will not return to this one if I have to deal with her.

DONALD BI reserved a dolly online and when I arrived was told there wasn't one. The associate was rude when I inquired why I wasn't told that when I had called a few hours earlier to confirm my rental. The store manager remedied the situation and lent me one from a back room someplace, which I appreciated. The van itself was dirty inside.
JAMIE FI let the gentleman at the front desk know that the back left tail light wasn't working and we had issues at every gas station we stopped at with the gas pump. None of them could latch to the cap properly and kept popping, meaning it took us about three times as long to pump gas. He seemed overworked and took the key, said he couldn't help at that moment and he'd get to things when he could. I get being overworked, I'm a teacher, but taking it out on someone who is just dropping off a key for the truck, which is what U-Haul told us to do, was a bit much. The location itself though was clean and easy to find.

GREGORY FKim usually helps me with my uhaul rentals. She is always kind and a professional, delivering great customer service. Unfortunately, Kim was not the person that helped with the transaction this time. Another person was in charge of my transaction this day.

ISFANDYAR SIf the location doesn’t have specific equipment that was asked for example, utility dolly versus appliance dolly. They should have to tell the customer that they won’t have one. I had a limited time to move and ended up having to move a refrigerator down two flights of steps with utility dolly.
Stephen CWhen I picked up my trailer I was told to hook it up myself. Before I left the rep ensured me I could drop off at South Lake Tahoe location. Even highlighted and wrote it on the agreement. When I arrived I was told I had to drop it off elsewhere… another city. Cost me over 50.00 in fuel
ROSS CAbsolutely horrible, the entire U-Haul smelled like actually poop and piss.. there was a puddle of liquid in the corners which I assumed was piss, and was stains everywhere… my clients bed were smelling of poop and piss after being in there for a few hours for the move…. Absolutely terrible and I wish you guys would have done something

GEORGE TI arrived with an email from Security Public storage stating a 9 am pick up. They made me wait 30 minutes and stated The U Haul office didn’t open until 9:30. He could have helped me ,no other customers were there.Out of principle he didn’t help me. Upon return at 12:48 they informed me they were on their “ UHaul , 1 hour lunch break “ and wouldn’t check me out …out of principal. Really sad commentary on their employees. I’m sorry I didn’t follow their rules, I was punished. And they are rule folders. I would like a discount.

LOUCINDA AWe put less than 20 miles on rental truck in 3 hours for a local move. When we received the invoice via email it showed that we drove 60 miles and had it for 4 hours. The people at office we very nice so we didn’t think we needed to worry about anything or take pics of speedometer. We even told them originally it would be less than 20 miles when asked. Now we are getting the run around when diluting it.

Robert VI rented at the beginning of the month on the 2nd from the Cat City location only because the Palm desert location that’s closer to where I live didn’t have anything available. Turned out….. They were Really courteous and helpful. I paid exactly what I was quoted on my online reservation. And the young lady went out of her way to be very helpful. Well I needed to rent a truck again this well for two days for the second phase of my move. I made my reservation online again And was quoted approx $155. I rented it for two days. When we got there yesterday the girl was very short and rude. The price was approx $30 more than my online quote and she didn’t care to explain to me as to why. When I pushed the issue she said that we had to pay mileage up front and also make sure we brought it back with the same amount of gas. So ridiculous…. the last U-Haul location said if we brought it back with the same amount of gas there was no 0tger charges. Also we returned it today instead of tomorrow and we still got charged the full amount. So shade and crooks. Overcharging. I will not be renting from your location again and I well not recommend you again
LONNIE CThe kid working there did not want to help uhaul clients. He seemed overwhelmed with his work for the storage company and made it clear that he didn’t want to deal with uhaul business. I’ve rented From many uhaul locations over 40 years and I’ve never seen an employee with such a bad attitude. He should not have customer facing job responsibilities.

VALLEN AOffice was closed at 12:15 when I arrived for pickup. Sign on door. Be back soon, wait if you can . Waited 20 minutes, was given van when had been told I was being upgraded to a truck on previous phone call, van drove good but AC did not work at all and it was hot and windy.
DIXIE KI had to clean the rental trailer. It had tree debris and red party cups in the bed of the trailer - the tree debris was not from the trees in the area, so the mess had to be from the previous renter. I had reserved it the day before, so it should have been cleaned before I picked it up. As I was cleaning it, the staff person, Kim said nothing when I brought it up as she was attaching the trailer to my vehicle. Recently I did a referral to a friend to rent a trailer here. Somehow when I went to rent this trailer, his information was on my account and when I requested it be corrected, the staff person started an argument with me and blamed the mistake on U-Haul and told me there was nothing I could do about it unless I called U-Haul. She told me the U-Haul service was a separate business not associated with Security Public Storage. People make mistakes - just fix it versus starting an argument and blaming it on someone else. Next time I'll go to Budget or Ryder.
STEVEN RI came in to return the truck at 430 Sunday, they close at 5. When I got there, they told me they were closed, and would email a receipt. If they close at 5, why couldn't they check me out at 430?
JACK CThe return went smoothly, but to my shock and horror, my card was charged an exorbitant rate of $120 for gas and cleaning. I am disappointed at this experience, since I chose this U-Haul location because of the high ratings. I will be disputing these charges and seeking a refund!
JASON DAndrew and his team were awesome they were very helpful and courteous and professional took care of me right away my only problem issue was with the checkout app It wasn't I was barely able to take Two pictures but it wasn't allowing me to take anymore pictures So I had to skip the pictures of the truck on the checkout app. Noticed one of the cables was broke on the back door why I had to take a picture of it but we were still able to open and shut the door No problem Other than that everything else was great
DOUGLAS CWe had problems with 2 trucks. Andrew at this location was good at handling this in a professional manner. He made a bad situation as best as possible. I will go back to this location and use U-Haul because of him. Good job Andrew.

JOSEPH CThe vehicle was filthy when I picked it up. The windshield covered with insects. When I drove seven miles to my home I discovered the right rear tire had side wall damage and had to be replaced by roadside service.
RICHARD MNothing! Very pleased with the seamless truck rental. Ashley and Gabe were so friendly and accommodating, and the return was a breeze. I’ve used them in the past and I’ll be using them in the future!
KATHLEEN HWe did have trouble with ABS disengaging the cruise control, otherwise it was a good trip.
BRUCE VThe staffing at this location were lacked professionalism. The truck cargo door was broken, and when I notified the staff at the location, all they replied was "We know". Why issue out trucks that are not in proper working order.

Stanley HWe were not allowed to drop off the trailer at the rental yard we agreed to when we picked up the trailer. Several hours after we picked it up, had it loaded and were on the road the corporate office called me and said there wasn't room to receive the trailer at the place U-Haul originally agreed to. It now needed to be taken a 25 minute drive in the opposite direction, all side streets, so almost an hour out of our way. The kid from Corporate said it didn't matter what they had agreed to earlier, they would not accept the trailer as originally agreed. I didn't appreciate his attitude and, in the future, will be looking for competitors. I had to resolve the issue the following day with another lengthy call to U-Haul. We still had to go out of our way but only about 1/2 the time the kid imposed on us the day before.
