I reserved online, received a confirmation and arrived on time to find out the location did not have my reservation or the size truck I needed. Old guy at the desk was very rude and I had to tell him that I still needed a truck.i showed him my confirmation and verified I was at the right location. He said well what do you want me to do about it. It's not in my computer. I reserved a 15' truck but they didn't have that, he had a 20' or a 10'. When I told him it was unfair I had to pay more for the 20' based on I reserved a truck he pretty much told me that I could leave without a truck. I ended up renting the 10' which was too small. And since I had to pay mileage on the truck was only able to make 1 trip. This whole experience was aweful. The man was rude, did not offer to help, seemed bother he had to use the computer to rent the truck to me. Took about 20 minutes. He was just a nasty person with a bad attitude. I have rented from this location before with a woman who was very nice and went above and beyond to be nice. Won't be back to this location.KARLA ELLSWORTH E.

The woman who â€œhelpedâ€ me was passive aggressive and just plain rude! Too much to explain in this section but she just had an absolutely awful attitude. I would rather drive 5 hours away to pick up or drop off a rental than to ever deal with her again. Even after a day of moving and being exhausted I asked to just take the truck to a different location because of how unprofessional she was. Maybe she is racist? Maybe she was having a bad day and took it out on me? Maybe she just isn't a nice person? Whatever it is, I would never have someone like that represent me or my company. I am a retail manager and if any of my employees treated customers the way she treated me and my father, they would be written up or terminated. Just awful. My overall experience wasn't bad until I had to deal with her and she left a lasting impression.Tiana S.

When we picked up the truck and checked the fuel gauge needle was right on the "F" and we assumed it was a FULL tank. However, when we filled the gas tank before returning the truck, the needle was way to the right of the "F". Therefore, the tank was not really FULL upon pick up. We drove less than 80 miles for our one way trip. Based upon what we found online, a 15' UHaul truck gets 10 miles to a gallon. Thus, we should have only used 8 gallons for the trip. However, we pumped in 13.9 gallons of gas money, which would have equated to driving nearly 140 miles. We did not pull the uHaul in stop and go traffic, but was highway driving. It appears that the fuel tank upon pick up was not really FULL. If it were full, we should have only needed to fill the tank with 8 gallons of gas. We put in 13.9 gallons at $2.45/gallon totaling $34.07 instead of $19.60 We would like to request a credit of $12.47 for the extra gas that we filled in the tank.Michael N.

They were nice and all, but called me the next day to say I hadn't returned my van. Once I called back to tell them I had returned it the night before, they said the only thing there was the very van I rented. Obviously not very observant.Maya N.
The man running the counter didn't have a clue how to enter the ticket in the computer. He spent close to 20 minutes on the phone with who I assume was maybe an owner or superior dealing with an issue that occurred the day before. The located had been open for 40 minutes and the door was locked when we arrived. We had to let all the other customers in while he talked on the phone and then some folks walked out irritated at the wait. Then I had to assist with entering the info in the computer. I have a friend who leases Uhauls where I moved from so I'm familiar with how to enter the necessary info in the system. Truly a disappointment in my experience. I would not return to this location and our family deals with a lot of folks moving as we have a real estate franchise and a construction company.JOSH S.

When booking the uhaul online I booked a location that was closed for the holidays. It rerouted me to another store that didnt even have a uhaul that day so I ended up at a third location. Big waste of gas and time getting bounced around because of online glitch i guess.Nicholas C.

I was charged an additional $84.32 for dropping this truck off. The reason I was given was I dropped it off a day late. I had a clear conversation with O'Conner where I picked up the unit and the date for drop off was for 09/01/18. when I called O'Conner he agreed and said I should not have been charged.william S.

I went on line for another location for pick up and got a confirmation. The day before pickup they said I had to go to this location because they did not have the truck I chose at that location. WHY on your website does it show availability? You need to fix your website. Plus I ordered a hand dolly and we didn't get that either. The same thing happened several years ago when we had to rent a Uhaul. Thank goodness we won't have to rent again in Ocala.Nancy M.
