My first stop after I pick up your vehicle should not be the gas station becasue there is less then 3/8 of a tank. i bring it back full. I should get a full tank of gas when i pick it up.

Was sent from the bolingbrook location because they messed up my reservation then, the joliet people couldn't do any better for me and least compensate the extra miles i had to drive because employees in the company messed up and the truck was dirty with wrappers.

I have always used the Marycrest location. Employees are friendly and office is always clean and organized. Trucks are always clean and in good condition.

Sent me to the wrong location I was prompted to pickup at dk on the other side of town which had a 10 footer I was renting. Tells me to go to self storage world after I already told the lady on the phone that they told me I can't get a uhaul there. I'm then late was not able to do what was needed to be done. There was a rotten bag of potatoes behind the seat and a old tire that was ripped my family grabbed thinking it was mine but it was trash we have to pay to dispose of now! Terrible experience!

I was inconvenienced when picking up the truck. I was due a mile credit and none of the computers seemed to marry the corporate office notes that credit should be applied to my bill. The reason for the credit was because there was no truck available in Channahon near my home causing me to go out of my way to pick one up in Joliet.

The location was open and fully staffed by 9:30 AM but we could not pick up until 10:00. I understand a start time but I don't understand how two employees can sit and stare at us waiting for 30 minutes. They did not explain the fact that the truck was practically at 1/4 tank and I should have received a fuel credit for that. The last thing I want to do after starting late (because Uhaul moves my location from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM) is go fill up an empty truck! The bed had some garbage in it when I got it too.. Frustrating.

I've used them in the past for U-Haul rental and for storage, and they've been very good. Two glitches this time: (1) I arrived at 2:10 for my 2:00 pick-up, and the lone staff member (did someone else not show up to work?) was on break and didn't return until almost 3:00 -- lucky I had a good book to read; and (2) on the trailer, one of the chains' connections to its hook was not secure, and she was unable to fix it (when I got it home, it took me a couple taps with a hammer, and all was fine). But, to reiterate, all my past experience here has been positive.

I think the rating on location is one thing but your pricing is very expensive I think if your charging per mile that should could cover the gas. Not pay for gas on top of mileage.

Closed sign up at 2pm and they were open. Girl at desk was uninterested. Nails so long she had great difficulty hooking up trailer so I had to plug in wiring and help tighten hitch. Very unprofessional

The employee should actually go out and do a walk around inspection of the vehicle instead of saying there are stickers on and damaged spots, so I video raped the whole truck before leaving because not all damage was marked, and padlock given with truck did not work so when dropping off after hours I could not lock back door which had a dolly inside and even though you have to replace the gas used the truck should be given to you full and not on a 1/4 tank

We used the online pick up feature. We reserved 3 weeks in advance, did the check in the night before and arrived at the pick up location on time only to find out that “a piece of equipment had not been assigned to our reservation.” Frustrates, we called the number provided on the error screen and were told we would have to wait until the store opened. When it did open we didn't have any issues, the woman who worked there said she had put the keys in the lock box for us and everything but that the U-Haul website must not be working and that it happens a lot. Why offer a service like this if it doesn't work??? Extremely frustrating. Next time we will look to rent elsewhere and we have always been loyal U-Haul customers.

The furniture dollies we requested were not available, and we were not told this in advance upon receiving our confirmation. The trailer had grass clippings inside of it. The trailer was also extremely difficult to manuever (coming from a very experienced driver).

The 3 girls at the front desk all looked mad and distracted and didn't even look at us , a stranger could've handed her my ID and she wouldn't have noticed, the van had a giant dent on the side, no one came out and inspected the van with us.. they literally handed the key and said good day. I took a picture with a time stamp of the van so I wouldn't be charged for the damage. I will not be using this location again.

I won't be coming back to U-Haul, This truck was given to me with two miles before empty I barely made it to fuel station.

Reserved a furniture Dollie but was told none were available when I came to pick up truck, therefore had to stop at another U-Haul dealer to rent one. Also, there were no tie down straps in the truck even though the description said that the 15' truck comes with them. Therefore, had to make another stop at a friends house to borrow tie down straps. Furthermore, once attempting to tie down the piano we picked up with the straps we borrowed, we found that the rail on the inside of the truck on the right side was ripping off the wall and thus was not secure at all. Had to reposition the piano and tie down to the back rail at that point. These should be checked and better maintained in the truck. All of this made the whole rental experience with this u haul dealer very frustrating. Would never use or recommend this location again. Also, on top of that, the women there at the front desk were very unfriendly and unapologetic.

This was the biggest joke of an overall rental that I have ever had. I booked the truck on 7/31 in North Aurora for 8/11 and ended up driving all the way to Joliet a day early to get a truck. Huge confusion on their part and the part of "corporate" who she made me call due to the final driver not being able to come a day early. What a mess. At least we go the move done.

if we choose a preferred location. please advise us at check out our rental is at another facility. this is a huge inconvenience. has happened to me twice in a month. I'm not satisfied as a customer having to pay additional miles. I do have other options and I'm very disappointed with both my online rentals. Thank you,

I had reserved furniture pads and in spite of the fact that there was a whole stack of them in the facility the agent would not rent them to me. Now my furniture is scratched up. This location was terrible. She took forever to book me the truck. Didn't even give me instructions as to which truck I was getting. I had to try ignition key after ignition key to find the one that worked. I definitely won't go here again.

Staff were not the friendliest. They could use some training on customer service and might benefit from a simple smile. I made reservations to pick up in Channahon and was not told of the location change and pick up time change less then 24 hours prior to pick up. Very disappointed with service overall.
