I Highly recommend Shamrock U-Haul, Carbondale, Pa.! Everything went smoothly from Beginning to our Return of the truck. The 15 ft Truck was brand new and emasculate, with proper gas and a Bundle of blankets, and ramp. Perfection!! The business owner was wonderful and covered everything we needed to know in a thorough manner and the whole experience was a delight. I would recommend Shamrock U-Haul to everyone!!

We were charged a cleaning fee for a uhaul that was covered in mud when we received it. They blamed us because we didn’t tell them before hand. We were charged an extra day and extra miles even though we brought the uhaul back BEFORE we told them we would, same day, with more gas in it than we got it with it in. I never in my life paid over 150 dollars for a uhaul and was charged 250 for maybe 8 hours total of usage. Absolutely disgusted.

I was delayed and left in the heat with a 3 week old baby and had to pay people for an extra hour to stand around because there was a lock on the back of the truck that I was not given to code to.

I did not receive the the hand truck I ordered with my truck. Made moving really hard. The truck that was assigned to me was blocked in by another m. Spent 40 minutes on an online chat to get assigned another one that wasn’t blocked in. Might I mention I was still billed for the hand truck and expected to return truck at same time despite it not being readily available

The location site was closed even though we waited 45 minutes after their posted “open” sign. They weren’t there when we returned the truck either. They did not respond to my dispute over the unexplained charges, such as the fuel charge, which I was not aware of when I reserved the truck. This was an overall terrible experience in which we were very much inconvenienced. I would never recommend u-haul or this particular location at all.

We have used Shamrock a couple of times now for our Hotel. Sometimes we need to store furniture in the rental truck because of large events at the Hotel. They are always very professional and very accommodating. Always pleasant and informative. After every use we always get a final invoice showing our total bill which is very helpful for our accounting department. Highly recommend U-Haul and Shamrock Custom Cycles & Auto Collision AAA+

Nobody was at location. I left 2 messages and didn't get a call back until following day. I was overcharged bc the pickup location didn't update the system w correct mileage. I picked up truck with 3/8 of tank of gas, dropped off with half tank. And was still overcharged. Person who finally called me back says "I just data input" or something like that. I explained my issues and still didn't hear back. Now I filed a formal complaint and am waiting for reginal manger to get back to me

These guys were great .. to make a long story short They made a long day short .. after moving in from out of state .l accidentally returned uhaul to wrong service center ..these guys bailed me out big time ‘ with a smile ‘ and although there vocal trump supporters - I give credit we’re credit we’re credits do

The hours on the front door said 9 AM Akane were going to be open on Friday at noon they were not open at noon they were there at 12:45 that’s a little frustrating when moving

Did not know I would need a code to pick up the key. I reserved the truck on line as a quest. Was on hold for 45 minutes. Finally had representative answer and log in to order. Still had to do everything thru the website. Would recommend something a little easier.

Make sure the equipment you rent like a hand truck is in the truck and if not u-haul finds every reason to not reimburse you !! Then there was a second charge on my bank statement that no one can explain.

Attendant one hour late for pickup. Unit contract called for a nine o’clock pickup. Person arrived to location at ten, without any notification.

Got charged a cleaning fee. When I got in the thing I found potato chips on the floor. I returned it cleaner than I got it and got charged! Also was told it had to be returned with 7/8 tank of gas when I get in it there was only 3/4 tank. Very unprofessional. Stood in the shop for 5 minutes while receptionist had conversation on phone with her friend.

In the years I've rented from Uhaul I have never once had a bad experience until now. This location is very unprofessional. My pickup time was 9am the lady didn't show up until after 10am, an then had the nerve to charge me an extra $25 for a bogus cleaning charge. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I wish I would have read their reviews prior to booking with them. Based upon their reviews Uhaul should not allow them to represent their company.

Be very clear about how to get a key code to access truck key well in advance. It took us two hours to get any information about how to access our key. The information was finally emailed two hours after we got the truck Be very clear that when you reserve a truck for a certain location you may be directed to another location despite the confirmation you receive that you’ll pick up where are you intended The packing materials I ordered were never in the truck even though I was billed for them I want to give a word of thanks to the U-Haul facility in Waymart Pennsylvania who went out of their way to help us even though they were not where we were picking up our vehicle They even gave us the packing material we ordered free of charge Finally despite numerous phone calls and texts we were unable to reach anyone for help even though it’s set our moving day back several hours

While I was able to get my truck and everything was in very good working order the process I had to go through for the truck share was borderline rediculous. As per instructions, I went and picked up my key continue to follow the instructions only to realize that they key in the box is not the key for my contract. After calling customer service multiple times (for a grand total of 5 calls), getting hung up on 3 times, I finally get the keys that I have switched over to my contract. At this point it's almost an hour and a half after my pick up time. I have to call customer service again because this time the website won't allow me to proceed and was unclear about the status of my contract, another 15 or so minutes on the phone everything is straightened out. I have used uhaul many times without this much trouble, I will continue to use uhaul but Thier "truck share" program needs help, I'd rather deal with a live person face to face.

I was delayed two hours in picking up my truck. I don’t know whose fault this was. I was supposed to be able to pick it up at 8:00 am using the app. I couldn’t because the U-Haul service rep told me the system wasn’t showing that the key was in the lock box. Well, when the pickup location opened at 10:00 am, the key was outside in the lock box. Also, there was 16 miles added to my trip because where I reserved the truck was not where I had to pick it up. Horrible and ridiculous. I’m using Penske next time because they don’t let just anybody with a parking lot run a truck rental location.
