The folks at this location were very friendly and quickly processed receipt of the Uhaul van (having checked-in online). I commend them for their honesty, especially Richard, who immediately called me after finding out that we forgot my wife's handbag, which had all her bank and credit cards. I immediately went back and received from them. Hats up for this honest conduct. Thanks to them, it could have been worse had they not checked the van well! Special thanks to Richard.Abdulla A.

The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars is because of the women who worked there. I booked through the app in advanced and even arrived early for pick up, but when I got there the truck I booked was unavailable. The app overbooks!!! I was moving that day and NEEDED a truck! The women was very understanding and tried her best to help me out. If it wasn't for her this would have been a disaster.Mariah R.

Honestly, they are doing as well as they can in a not so great situation. The trucks were clean and the location was convenient. The neighborhood isn't great and the location can be a bit raucous but it served what I needed.Adam L.

There is no parking space to leave personal vehicle when picking up the truck. It would be convenient to leave your car get the truck rental return the truck and jump into your car.Joseph N.
Truck was not in the right location for the pickup. A lot of damage on the uhaul was not marked and I ran out of pictures for every section. The blankets were not in my rental and I had to return to get them. I was supposed to have 2 pack of 10 furniture blankets and the packs I finally received only had 6 in them. My wife was also threatened with a knife when we returned the truck by another patron. By far the worst experience I've ever had with Uhaul.Brandon C.

Ricardo has the best, most professional way about him. I was so surprised to find that a gas station on Broadway and W. 131st had such a fleet of Uhaul trucks and minivans. Such a quick ride of the GWB into Jersey and back.Maureen L.

Your app is absolutely awful, not user friendly and crashed on me while I was trying to complete the check in that I wasn't allowed to do until I was on location. I was 30 mins late to my reservation bc the app wouldn't let me input the contact person without crashing. Also why did I need two contact numbers on the app but at the kiosk I was able to just give one number? Don't give people the option of a speedy experience on an app if it's literally Impossible to use it. I got everything figured out at the kiosk in 5 mins.Anna R.

This location is very convenient, but in true NYC fashion--different. It's at a gas station and looks like it's a part of a bodega. Even so, grab your coffee while you check in with the very helpful and responsive attendant. I will be using this location for all my UHaul needs.Yvette T.

I just got my U-haul receipt and I was charged $150 in damages for â€œminor scratchesâ€ that we did not make to our vehicle. We were with the vehicle the entire time of our reservation and no damage occurred while it was in our possession. In fact, the passenger door would make a huge popping noise whenever we opened it, the engine light was on the entire time we used the vehicle, and the battery died while in our possession. When I called the office to seek assistance, they offered little to no help in the matter, saying their recommended roadside assistance would be upwards of 2 hours. They made no attempt to lengthen my reservation on my behalf, even with the necessary repair times, so I extended it myself. Luckily I was able to find a jump quickly, outside of their recommendation. When we returned the vehicle, the attendant quickly dismissed us after turning in the key; however the receipt comment says we â€œweren't presentâ€ to clarify. I gladly would have stuck around for a vehicle inspection had I known my comments were necessary.Curry W.

Took too long to get truck, my bed cover order wasn't what I ordered and I had to pay separate, price of distance ordered was not the price I paid for, previous driver did not fill up the gas tank appropriately. The truck was fine otherwise, it did its job. But please don't advertise a price on the website and charge more once I get to the station.Kira M.
This location provided very poor service. There were no clear instructions regarding the equipment pick up and the vehicles were not located on the premises. The representative was unaccounted for for an extended period of time and was very disorganized and abrasive when he arrived.Stacey R.

They claimed that I used 5 gallons of gas to go 8 miles. Obviously, I didn't not do that. Further I sent them the receipt showing that I put about two gallons of gas into the truck (website claims 10 mpg, so more than double what I would have used for 8 miles). They did not remove the fuel charge or the fuel service charge even after I raised these points. Basically they stole over $60 from me. They are absolute scammers and can go fuck themselves.Alex C.

It look over 1 hour to pick up my uHaul. Even though I had a reservation and could show it to the rep who didn't care unless her system said ready. I called in a talked to someone who tried to help me, then when I called back for further assistance could not reach anyone. Also, I reserved a dolly and 12 blankets and they were not in the truck. This impacted by packing, loading and unloading. Also, the key to the truck was very hard to start the truck. I would like a significant refund for these issues. The vehicle was never picked up. I called the day before to reschedule the usage of the vehicle. This reservation was postponed due to a work conflict. The customer service member advised me that we could cancel the reservation. I want to receive a phone regarding this situation. The truck was covered with graffiti. The interior was quite dirty. The "check engine" light was on the entire time, which caused me to worry about a possible breakdown. When you stepped hard on the gas the engine didn't respond right away. I think there is a mechanical issue with the motor of this truck.David W.
