This was the worst experience ever. The worker wasn’t at his shift (that started at 3:30, I was there at 5 pm), he was rude and didn’t explain what I was getting charged again for, they gave me a big trailer when I had preordered the van, and still charged me extra. This location should reassess their customer service.

employee of Uhall is not quick. its very slow to start and finish typing to computer. while typing talking over the phone and other employee chatting about something. when I waiting for opening 10 minutes before opening time. employee come opening time, its not customer oriented service. slow on computer typing while talking with fellow employee chatting. its disgusting.

Don’t make your customers run around town trying to track down their reservations, or drop off your equipment to places that refuse to receive it. Terrible.

The clerk told me the supplies were not there that I reserved. It took longer to find the supplies. I called several times to tell them I need to change the time. I was told to call back and it was busy. I could not talk to a person.

I reserved a van but got a truck instead. There was a strong smell on the truck. I did an online reservation in which I did not ask for the insurance, but when I got the contract the staff at the Uhaul station said I must pay this insurance and could only cancel it by calling the customer service. I did not ask for it why I need to call the customer service? During my rent, I drove about less than 3 miles. When I return the vehicle, the so-called boss of the uhaul station told me I have to pay gas fee of 1 gallon! 3 miles = 1 gallon??? He even asked for (5 dollars) more than it is really the amount of 1 gallon (3.69). I did not want to be fooled by him, so I add gas to it, and it cost me 0.19 dollar. This can be no more radiculous and disgusting. People at the shell station uhaul store were very unfriendly, and treated you like a fool in their manner. Super bad experience!!!!

Location is great. That it's a 24hr gas station in NYC near a subway is perfect. The equipment had a check engine light on and they didn't have blankets and didn't get me set up in the vehicle. I had to set myself up figure out the mirrors, latches etc.

Online truck pickup in the app is horrendous. It's absurd to request to contact my employer before I'm able to pickup a truck, or anyone else for that matter.

If s just people back ground and culture back ground. It’s very slow. Chatting with other worker. Not customer center. It’s just standard of people are different . It’s normal for them to service such slow time taking manor.

I’ve rented U-haul many times, but never before from this location. Usually I walk away pretty frustrated with the long waits and poor customer service. Not this time. The people at Shell on 131 and Broadway were friendly, patient and helpful. Best U-haul experience I’ve ever had!

There is very little parking here, and the person working was not very kind. It felt like she was judging me for going just 10 miles over the estimate, and she made me move the truck around the block after inspecting the fuel tank and mileage. She should have at least told me then where she wanted it parked rather than waiting until after I got out and inside to tell me.

I will never rent a uhaul from this location again. When we arrived, there was NO ONE there. The gas station attendant could not even speak English. The man to work the uhaul desk was over an HOUR late. This is not acceptable. Furthermore, the truck that we were given had a broken driver side mirror, and the emergency brake was not functioning properly. I will never be visiting this location again.

Did not have the truck I reserved on hand and told me that the 1 foot difference between a van and a truck wasn't that big of a deal. (It did, in fact, make a difference, because I needed to make two trips, whereas I would not have with the larger truck.)
