I have already raised a ticket with Kim regarding this but let me share my experience again. I dropped Uhaul took pictures done with all formalities and kept with little extra fuel than what was given as well. When we are about to return keys the door didn’t open for me to get out the main gate is locked ok understandable to not let people steal the vehicle after returning vehicle. The office door is locked. If every door connected to outside is locked how will we get out. We were stuck there and called uber and he helped us get out of the lot by putting the pin. How did you expect us to come out if all the doors are locked after we drop the Uhaul. Instructions were not clear the customer support number didn’t pick up the call the area is quite dangerous recently I heard about a gun violence near that area. It was dark it was scary for us imagine if we are stuck and phone got switched off how we would’ve gotten out we would’ve waited entire night inside the garage. It was a scary experience to us thank god the cab driver was helpful to us. I don’t want this kind of experience to happen to someone else maybe someone who actually didn’t have charge in phone getting stuck in parking lot. I am not even sure if this issue would’ve been taken care off I am reporting as my duty.

Basit SCalled to confirm that they had our reservation and equipment available. The equipment was not in the car. Office was not open at the time of pickup and so we were in a situation where we had to move without the proper equipment. There was also trash in the car from the previous user still in the car.
Alex KOur representative was absolutely amazing!! However the cargo area of the truck leaks terribly. We were in torrential downpours last night and today and this cause my furniture and numerous items to be massively water logged and ruined.

ALEX VThe app kept erroring out when trying to do the self pickup. Instead of a lock box code, I had to find the location office to get the keys, then I couldn't upload the photos or enter starting fuel and mileage at pickup. This is also the second time in a week that I have reserved a van and been offered an "upgrade" to a box truck, which is the same rental price as a van is anyway. The first time was around the corner at the Mass Ave Location. I specifically requested a van each time because the locations I was loading in and out are very difficult with the box trucks, there is a backup camera in the van, and there are no cameras in the trucks. It's not an up-sell if the replacement vehicle has the same daily rate to begin with!

Ryan HThey charged me $100 more than what was stated in my quote and initial contract. On top of that, they didn’t apply the $50 credit they promised me. At the pickup time, the vehicle wasn’t ready, and they asked me to return the next morning, assuring me I’d be reimbursed with that credit. However, not only did I not receive the compensation, but I was also charged more than the amount in my booking contract.
