Take better care of the trucks. Windshield seal shouldn't flop out within 10 minutes of picking up while going down the highway. It worked for picking up a sofa, but wouldn't recommend for much more. $115 for 2 hours and less than 50 miles is absurd for the quality the trucks are kept.Nathan O.
Biggest complaint is that we reserved the pick up for Sandwhich, IL and weren't told about the Morris pick up until the day before. If this is UHaul standard operating procedure, we will not rent from you again. Having to drive to Morris for pickup was a huge inconveniencePARR S.

I was told upon pickup that the truck had been cleaned and swept out and was expected to be returned that way. Only to open the vehicle and find mud all over the inside of the cab as well as garbage from another renter. Opened the back of the truck and it had not been swept, and the light was hanging from the ceiling and not in working condition. When I told them I would be returning the truck at 8am the following day (the hours I reserved the truck for, even though I wasn't allowed to pick up until after 8am due to the place that took my rental not having the trailer I needed) I was never told of the $20 fee for â€œafter hoursâ€ return, but also got a text message stating that if it wasn't returned by 8 they could do it for me for a $20 convenience fee. I don't think the $20 â€œafter hoursâ€ fee should be charged because it was never mentioned by the store I picked up from when I said I'd be returning it at 8am. This is not the first time uhual has dropped the ball, but it was the last. I will not be recommending this company to anyone, nor will I use them in the future and I will be canceling my storage unit through uhual in the coming days. I would like to be contacted about this experience to discuss the issues during this rental.TRENT Z.

Charged for a lift truck that wasn't even in the truck. Needed one way but was told no only round trip so it ended up costing me than I budgeted for. Paperwork wouldn't print and they couldn't change what was wrong with reservation. They all seemed clueless.amy W.

The rental return was a disaster, not clrar,clear, to read, very frustrating . Was in tears. The blankets were wet and smelled sour, unusable. Asked for 2 only got one. Called for new ones and was told they were out. Pick up was great, girls at Ship and Mail were nice. This caused us considerable trouble.Renee G.

For the most part everything was really good. Truck drove & handled great & got way better gas mileage than I expected. The only issue I had was your washer fluid was not rated for the sever cold so the washer never worked & your wiper blades were not winter recommended. Kept building up slush & ice and eventually started falling apart.Chatwell J.

My recommendation for anyone renting from uhaul in Morris is to not use the Division st. location. Go with the alternate location. I rented a 20' uhaul and upon return I received my receipt, after asking for a paper copy. I checked it out when I returned home and noticed that I was charged the $7 fee for the dolly. I actually didn't touch the dolly for the 8 hrs I had the uhaul I called the uhaul office and they told me the zip tie that holds the dolly in place had been broken and that I had used the dolly. It was probably someone that helped me they told me. WRONG!!! Only 2 people made this move, myself and my brother. I actually brought and used my own superior dolly and hadn't touched their crappy, insufficient dolly. The lady basically told me I was a liar and proceeded to tell me that yes I had used it and the charges will stick. The people who had used the truck before me had obviously used the dolly and placed the zip tie to look as if they hadn't used it. Whoever checked the truck in when the previous people had used it obviously didn't do their job right in checking the zip tie and I got stuck with the bill. I guess it's possible they're pulling this scam on everyone. After the way the woman on the phone brushed me off, nothing would surprise me. I told her to enjoy her $7 tip, that I had not in fact used their crap dolly. Once again, stear clear of the division st. location if at all possible. Maybe better to use a different, better, truck rental company. Also beware of the $14 garbage insurance that's offered, it's not called insurance anymore, they just use the words "safe move coverage" they've got a slick way of getting you to sign up for it, if you're unsuspecting. It's basically worthless to 99.9% of good customers. My advice, be very aware of rental slicksters like this uhaul location.David A.

Parking is terrible, between UPS USPS,FedX,and rental equipment customers returning equipment have to drive around several times to find spot for 26 foot truck. Perhaps a parking area rental could alleviate the problemMark W.

I don't understand why, if I had a card on file, the invoice say's I didn't pay for your services, I was told when I left everything would be taken care of, the late fee's were handled easily by a phone call but I don't see a reason for it in the first place, as of this point I really don't know if the bill is paid or notrufus C.

Have the staff ask if the customer wants help hooking up dont just assume also if staff is going to hook up make sure they know how and that they know to tighten things down i went over everything she did before leaving and I would have deffiantely lost my trailer. Thankfully I'm a CDL driver and I know to always check my trailer myself and not trust anyone else's rigging.jessie W.

The check-out process was very fast and efficient. On the rental trailer: I found one of the trailer side tie-down wall rails was loose from the wall at the rear of the trailer when I inspected the trailer at pick-up. This issue should either have been repaired before renting the trailer again or, minimally, noted to me before I performed the inspection.Michael K.

Good: Friendly competent zero issue location. Perfect trailer, great price, glad I came there. Bad: Trailer return app would not run on my Android, but it was fine the register. So I called the number and stayed on hold for 20 minutes. Frustrated at sitting there I just drove home with the speaker on, eventually reaching rep and closing order. Yaaay!.James F.

Mobile pickup took over 50 mins. While the interior was clean, while on the highway, passenger mirror starting spinning in the wind making me completely blind on that side... extremely unsafe and very scary. While I got my stuff moved, not a great experience.Jennifer P.
