Make sure that the online booking system works. Had to drive all the way to Humbolt from Saskatoon in a snow storm because the system messed up my order that I placed in Saskatoon. Been waiting for a month on my deposit, still no deposit after two calls already.

Trailer right signal would not always work. The truck Tires were terrible on any kind of snow and ice I don't understand why in winter on a rear wheel drive unit it wouldn't have more safer tires suited for winter

The staff at Sholter & Horsman Furniture where not very accommodating. When I came to pick up the trailer one offered to assist me with moving the trailer as I had to do so by hand since the trailer I reserved was parked in a huge muddy puddle directly behind another trailer. I came to pick up the trailer at the reserved time, yet the trailer was not readily available. Also since no one was able to assist me, I was unable to test the lighting system on the trailer; I later discovered that the passenger signal light did not work.

Extreme difficulty processing drop off of van. Again computer program not user friendly. They were aware of a scheduled drop off, but missed my correct name and began trying to put my info on someone elses booking. Once realized mistake could not find my booking in computer so had to phone supervisor for help. When booking put into computer pickup location this lication was put in as drop off and when we had to have it in by. Seems we were not in the system at all. Took well over 30 min. to process dropoff. Finally after second phone call with someone at uhaul help line they were able to print off final paperwork and we were on our way.

I rented the equipment from Regina city, and was supposed to pick it from Regina. But the U-Haul office called me and told me that I have to pick it from Estivan, which is more than 200 kms far from Regina. I believe that the customer must get some discount for this, specially when you ask him to drive 200 kms in the last day before picking the equipment.

Online it states that to rent a trailer its 29.95. Okay fine and dandy. Then it goes through all sorts of insurance and extras to be added on. I said no to everything and wed be responsible for any damage. What was 29.95 turned Into over $100.00 . 20 dollar insurance I said no to. Plus 50.00 "rental charge" plus other charges. That didnt Include my husbands hitch he had to buy. All I ask is maybe put the full rate

You need to put Jack's on all of your trailers. I blew my back out trying to deck and the only person there was an older lady who tried to help but not large enough. Now I'm missing work due to a back injury that happened because of you terribly equipy trailer

I would recommend location but booking the trailer was the most unorganized experience ever 8 phone calls just to book one simple motorcycle trailer ..... never again

Stock medium size boxs, they dont care if they are out of stock, they only reorder when they fell like it. Also they are complacent, had the who else are you going to deal with estevan your trapped adatude .

I feel uhaul should supply a lock and key for the back of the truck. Like myself, so many people dont need their truck the whole 3 days, and cannot drop off during open hours, so it's always a worry when you have equipment inside the truck like dolly and blankets. Your company asks people to lock all equipment in the truck but they have no way to. Other than that the truck is a wonderful thing to use rather than relying on ridiculous moving costs. Thank you!

Have more items, in this case a car dolly available. We tried to rent in Regina but had to go out to Weyburn to pick this item up and them go back to Regina to load and move a vehicle. That's 200km extra that we had to travel to rent this dolly. We still saved money overall, but lost approx 4 hours of our day and had to travel many extra km.

Everything went good with the uhaul. we had encountered a problem with our personnel vehicles and I was very pleased with how uhaul answered my questions What I did NOT like. on Monday we had received a call from Winnipeg. He stated that the trailer we rented was needed in Swift Current. I said that is 2 1/2 hours away. I am not driving it to Swift Current. He said that is where it needs to be dropped off. That's where he needed it. I thought NO. I paid for a service. I am not going out of my way to drive that far. He offered me $50. lol That would not have paid for my gas. FINALLY I told the guy that my contract states that it is to be dropped off in Leader. and that is where I am dropping it off. I am glad that I am not a push over. He did not approach me in an asking way more of a telling tone. I am also glad that uhaul has it set up in a contract form. You may want to call the gentle man and speak to him on proper customer etiquette. I did enjoy all other uhaul employees that I was in contact with. I just really think the Winnipeg guy was way out of line. Thanks Lynn Ginnis 306-421-2709

Cabin stinks so bad.. Ordered a 26" foot truck.. Was impossible to get it... Have to rent an other trailer and have to made a second trip ... 300 mi... Gas.. Time.. Not impresst..

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The trailer was filthy. Covered in crusty mud. Typical of UHaul equipment. I've rented many times including two cross country moves in which the parking brakes on a 26' moving van did not work. And they did not offer to reimburse or discount anything

They did not attempt to acoomodate me at all. They had NO units and one coming in on a Saturady at 9am, they refused to assist me in arranging pick up of the unit for Saturady/Sunday stating 'we are closed'. I then called Uhaul directly who assisted me without a problem in picking up the uhaul Sunday morning. The sites suggestion was that I drive over 2hours away to pick up a unit. They offered zero assistance in helping me. Extremely frustrating when UHAUL directly assisted me in picking up the unit from the stie Sunday morning. They offered no other options or advise for me.

The tire pressure should be checked on the equipment before they are rented out. Sprained my ankle in the parking lot when helping the man hook up the trailer.

My customer service experience with u haul was HORRIBLE! I was contacted less than 24 hours before my move and informed the trailer I booked over a month in advance was not available. That just would not work for me because I was moving across the country and I NEEDED that trailer. After going back and forth with different representatives I was ultimately told if I wanted the trailer (I reserved over a month in advance) I could drive to Canada to pick it up. Left without any choice I drove to Canada to pick it up and had to pay extra taxes because I was taking it out of country, when I initially booked it in America and was told it would be available. So what u can do to improve things for the next customer is have what they reserve available, especially if your representative tells them it will be. Or be willing to work with or accommodate the customer somehow if they have to go out of their way (I had to go to another country) to pick up equipment they were told would be available locally.

We had originally booked this for pickup in Weyburn. 2 weeks later we got a call saying we had to drive to Estevan to get it. A bit of an inconvenience and cost us a bit more money for time and gas to get it, but overall getting it from Sholter and Horsman was fine. Staff very helpful down there.

The reason we got it from Estevan is that we rented a covered trailer from Regina park st and 20 to 5 I got a phone call from uhaul saying they didn't have a trailer for us. Estevan had 1 but it was 2 hrs away, luckily my daughter was coming to Regina and she was able to pick it up for us otherwise we were out of luck. The lady was able to stay overtime at shoulter and horseman till my daughter arrived. I was very disappointed that it took till 20 to 5 to notify us that no trailer was available because we were leaving the next morning for out of town.

I asked for help to place the car onto the car dolly. The guy finally came out 30 minutes later and told me he wouldn't help because he didn't want to be responsible for anything...then left. The secretary then came out to apologize for the guy and confessed her disgust for his attitude. Further, I rented a truck to drive across Canada...almost 2000 Miles. You didn't give me enough miles, no cruise control, and a radio older than Col. Sanders. Very uncomfortable!

I was not to happy that I was not notified that trailer I had not shown up. Lost quite a bit time in morning to make alternate plan to rent truck. Uhaul communication could be much improved.

The only complaint I have is that I was expecting to have a tow dolly. I relied on this fact to tow an old car that I had a buyer for in Brandon,Mb for $300. I was not told until the night before that the dolly was not available, no notice to make other arrangements. In light of this fact, I had to give the car away for free, to get rid of it the day of move. Uhaul left me no other options and cost me a $300 profit. I will not recommended your service to anyone but I will inform them of your lack of follow through.

Do not over book so that reservations are fulfilled on the contracted day. I was dropped off nearly 12 hours from home to find out that u-haul did not have enough vehicles to fulfill my reservation and that I would have to find my way to another city an hour away to pick up a different sized truck. It was my suggestion to check if another day was available and it wasn't at first but one became available while I was questioning the agent about the reason for a reservation. U-haul had to give me a larger truck which I expressed some concerns about to the representative. On pick up morning the u-haul smelled like a barn and had urine throughout the truck floor cab as well as the back had urine on the floor and up on the cab overhead. This truck was delivered by a u-haul representative. I am disgusted and shocked that I was delivered a rental truck in this condition, this should not be happening. Personal property now have to be cleaned including our home carpet and floors where the movers walked. I was told more than once that I could not use my personal insurance to cover the u-haul move on 2 phone calls as well as in person when picking up the u-haul. I found out my insurance would have covered it if I had used the smaller truck. The entire experience was stressful, disgusting and will now cost me more than I could have had professional A+ BBB accredited movers do it all for me.

The Lady at the Estevan location was so wonderful! She had everything ready for us, was extremely pleasant and made the transactions seamless. Folks when you are booking on-line, call the local agent a week before if you can, so that they are notified and can confirm the size of truck that you ordered will be available at their location.
