The system was not working and I was unable to use the mobile check in option. It took more than 45 after my appt to obtain the keys because everything was entered manually and I was asked for my info more than twice. I attempted to return the rental before closing hours of 4:30pm, showed up at 1:30pm and the office was closed. I returned around 3:00pm and it was still closed. I had to walk around the back to leave the key in the drop box.tracy F.

This location was fine. The cost per mile was rediculous though and not really well advertised on the uhaul webaite. I felt a bit like i was taken advantage of when the cost was 4 x what was advertised. Theres much cheaper options so i dont think ill be coming backBRIAN M.
The location is confusing. Because it is a storage facility the office is in the underground parking lot and difficult to find while the trucks are located in the back of the facility. I reserved a truck for 48 hours and when I arrived I was informed that I could only have it for 24 hours, becuase someone else had rented it for the second day.LAURENCE B.
I was told I would have 1 free month in a storage unit there and upon arriving I was charged $53. a $25 move in fee, which I was not told about; insurance, which I was not told about, and I was charged a pro-rated rent for the rest of this month and would receive the following month for free, and I was not told about that (having to pay rent for the rest of this month). This was not at all free and I feel I was badly duped. I would never have agreed to use the storage unit there if I had been informed of all this in advance, which I feel is what you should have done. I called UHaul and asked them to rectify this situation as I don't believe I should have paid this, and they said someone would call me but no one has yet.ashley L.

It is very difficult to find the front office of this U-Haul rental location from the back of the lot where the vehicles are kept, signage to direct customers to the Front on PCH would be very helpful. In addition, I did not receive the Moving Pads I had contracted for. Finally, the brakes were spongy and required the the pedal to be depressed to the floor. Maintenance may be required.David G.

I reserved a 15' truck, dolly and 1 doz pads 1 week prior To the rental date. I was the asked to pre register the day before. When I arrived at my scheduled time, truck was not ready, no dolly, no furniture pads. I spent 4 hours driving around town looking for a dolly. Needless to say I will tell of my negative experience With as many friends and associates as possible. My rental agent will verify this situation and then as experience I had. The Uhaul truck was filthy and wreaked of pot. Truly unacceptable. The breaks were shoddy, clearly this truck was on its last leg. I drove 16 hours in a dirty, smelly truck. Truly unacceptable, I would recommend looking somewhere else for a rental truck.Jaime W.

Train your employees on laws regarding the disabled. I'm a disabled veteran and I was treated very unfairly. I felt humiliated, stressed and anxious. Your employee told me to leave and wouldn't release the rental to me if I didn't comply regardless of my disability's. I repeatedly informed him of my disability which by law i didn't have to. He still was insensitive and rude. Eventually he said he just didn't want to deal with me and finished the transaction. It was all unnecessary stress.John V.

It was a storage place but no indication where U-Haul drop off was. Clearance at entrance to storage was 7' so I knew it wasn't there. No answer when I called ( at my scheduled drop off time) and I happened to find a few other U-Hauls on a road behind storage place with a drop off. Left key in drop box. I reloaded the gas for the exact mileage I drove. They charged me $9.02. I drove 38 miles which is 2 gallons of gas. I reloaded that but the gauge does not show accurately. Please contact the store to drop that charge. 97518690Kian N.

Vehicle was dirty inside and out and was not sanitized clean. Had to do it myself. Tire warning light, engine warning light were on, was not sure if the vehicle was going to break down or not. The Faclities did not have the appliance dolly that I reserved.Victor E.

Be aware of how to apply gift certificates when picking up vehicle, not apply miscellaneous charges to the final bill, and not penalize customers for faulty U-Haul technology that does not allow them to do self-return instead of being charged $20 for an employee to check-in the following morning.Ryan R.

When I tried to rent a truck I was met by this rude girl with poor customer service skills. Obviously everyone leaving reviews about her on the Uhaul website feels the same way. I'm surprised she hasn't gotten fired yet. She didn't know I had a card on file and said I needed to pay in cash. So I went to the 711 across the street and had to get cashback 3 times. When I got back she didn't know that I had to pay a deposit. Luckily I had a card on file, which she didn't check because it was a last resort. When this most certainly was a last resort. She then didn't clearly tell me where to deposit the key when I was done. The deposit box was labeled a mailbox so I didn't want to drop it off and get charged with a lost key. So i returned the next day. To top it all off, she charged me twice, out of spite. SHE MUST BE FIRED!!! ONLY GIRL THAT WORKS THERE!!!PAUL K.
Customer service was a bit brusque. The vehicle itself was excellent and a good value. The vehicle inspection was poorly handled. It is extremely difficult to look at your phone in bright sunlight. Certainly not well enough to see details...which you need to be able to do if you are submitting your own pic of damage on the vehicle. Also, I felt like my eyes were going to pop out looking at/taking pics of this bright white vehicle in full sun. Thank you.WILLIAM B.

The young lady staffing the location was extremely unprofessional. For some odd reason, she felt more compelled to stock trucks instead of waiting on customers. I recieved the uhaul on an empty tank and got charged a $30 service fee for putting gas on top of $26 of gas they pumped . This makes no sense. The lady at the counter was very rude and refused to open the door. Really poor serviceJennifer L.

Location is difficult to find for truck pick ups. Additionally, my truck had a padlock that was installed by the facility and was supposed to be removed prior to pickup. I realized it when I arrived at my destination (Because it was never mentioned) and could not access the cargo area. I contacted the facility and they said they would send someone out to unlock it. Despite being 10 minutes away, it took 2 hours and numerous follow up calls before someone actually showed up. I lost 2 hours of my moving day and missed the closing time of my storage unit, which was the whole purpose of getting the truck. When I asked about some kind of compensation, all they did was add two hours To my rental period. It was a one-off situation, but it was handled poorly and I was the party that had to pay for it. Overall it was a pretty awful and frustrating experience.Ray N.

This facility is extremely hard to find. The worker was nice and quick. The parking area is way too small and this made it hard to return the truck when I was finished. Either they need less trucks or more space, it's an accident waiting to happen.Ellen B.

I had called earlier in the day to ensure what I reserved was going to be available..... was assured it would be.....no appliance dolly was at that location and attendant offered no help to secure one. Poor customer service and no help to get me what I reserved. I wouldn't recommend or encourage anyone to use this service at this location!charles T.
Pick up was terrible, I was given little explanation on where to park. I was given keys and immediately the attendant left me without helping me move the truck. I kid you not, the truck was 6 inches from a wall. There was also another truck immediately in front and a truck 6 feet behind, which left no room to get out without a 50 point turn to leave. Can do the process without using the office and recommend as they are not helpful. They were gone midday for over an hour with no indication when they would return or how to return the keys instead of waiting. I would recommend going to an actual U-Haul location. This is a storage place with a small parking lot in the back with U-Haul trucks. There's no street visibility from Pacific Coast Highway, so it's hard to find. The self-serve process is horrible and takes longer than just picking up a truck from a location. It's not user-friendly nor fast. They have to verify your DL and it takes forever.Heidy F.
Truck was clearly driven from a time-zone two hours away from California, based on the cab's clock (two hours ahead) and the windshield filled with bug splats. Inside the cab was filled with dog hair and the passenger-side window had dog nose snot limiting visibility. Furthermore, clearly management is trying to save money by having online pick-up that requires an 8-step process and viewing a UTube tutorial video. Absolute crap! Just pay your employees as you used to with rental offices opening before 9:30am. This is the third time I have rented a U-Haul truck that was filthy. We will try Penscke or another another rental company next time.Douglas E.
