The location is fine, the people at the location have always been friendly as we use uhaul a couple times a year . However, our last experience was terrible but not the locations fault. We first tried to get a truck at the newberg/Dundee address. We showed up and they didn’t have a truck available at the time they said it would be. This set our plans back several hours. We ended up picking up another truck at a different location, we first got in the truck The check engine light was on. We had problems with the truck the whole time. It would go barley 20 miles an hour and would stall. It was very dangerous. And still paid almost 100 dollars for a truck that we only used for and hour. Very disappointing experience.

First, my reservation was on Saturday, but uhaul made two reservation's, Friday and Saturday. Location was closed on a Saturday. Ridiculous, because most people move on Saturday. The whole self check thing wouldn't work, so after waiting 10 minutes to speak to a human, I finally was able to return the truck. Over all, I hate dealing with uhaul.

your website sent me to another location! Website experience questionaire I filled out at end did not leave me a place to add comments.... wonder why? Providing references to rent a trailer is total SHIT! What am I terrorist? Criminal? I'm a godamn veteran and the fact that I have to provide references either A should be put into the web application so I'm not sitting there wondering who should be my contact info and let them know hey, they are going to call you or B the office will ask you this question so bring an address book because they are going to ask for numbers to call. Criminals suck and I'm sorry your company has been used in bad ways but I will seek other companies if I'm going to have to spill out all my personal information for a fucking trailer. People at the desk were very helpful and patient with me and understood my frustration. Your website, questionaires and your invasion of my personal information SUCK. If you truly care about your customers.... fix it. Ken Trox

I had a great experience with the local dealer, however the U-haul online experience was completely HORRIBLE. Your app does not work, your online verification does not work, your online check in does not work, your online truck inspection done not work. This had been the most frustrating, time consuming debacle I've ever had with equipment rental- no exaggeration! I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN. FIX IT!

I reserved a 6x12 trailer needing at least 5.2 feet of clearance at the gate end. It was only 4 ft 9inches at the opening and I couldn’t fit the object I needed to haul. When I explained they advertised 6ft of trailer space and it was only 4-9 at the opening, I was told I couldn’t get a different trailer to fit, and I couldn’t get my money back because I kept someone else from renting it. I got the trailer at 9:30, and called an hour later to explain my problem. It’s ridiculous that I wasn’t refunded my money. I will never rent from uhaul again because of this. I wasted my time and money based on inaccurate trailer descriptions. I then went to Reid rental in Newberg and got the trailer I needed, for less money, and was told if I ever had the problem of the size being wrong they would exchange for the right one, or refund my money no questions asked. I will be reviewing you badly publicly as well. I still want my money refunded, it’s the least you could do

Booking through the website was doable but not easy. The site was slow and unresponsive at times. Only after multiple attempts, giving up and deciding to call the next day did my booking go through.

The person who assisted us was very friendly and helpful. However there was no explanation regarding the damage stickers and the text I received immediately when I picked up the truck. Consequently when I finally looked at the text the link to document damage had timed out and the new message said to contact my U-Haul representative When I called and spoke with the employee who had answered the phone at this location she said she was not familiar with the damage sticker program and what I was supposed to do. We were also short one packing pad but unfortunately did not count them before we left the pick-up location. Our mistake.

I wanted to drop off in mcminnville but was contacted after I rented that I had to take it here instead. This was about a 30 minute drive when I wanted to drop it off 10 minutes away. This should have been communicated before I rented. The people were great though.

The service was great, the girl even waited past closing time for me to arrive. Only problem was a mis-labeled trailer that neither she nor I caught until I arrived to pick up my farm equipment. It wouldn't fit but the dealer delivered it for me (Extra $50). Anyway, the 5' x 9' trailer was actually 4' x 8'. I've never had that happen before.

Park outside fence if you drop off truck after hours put key drop bx. You can check in on app, OR go back in person durring bussiness hrs to settle up, OR if pavement office open you can hand over keys pull truck in and you are sent final invoice by email. Very easy...

This location was adequate. The poor rating is NOT for this location, but for the other location in Newberg, OR. That other location was closer (3 miles) away from the house we moved to and it came up on our cell as the place to return the rental. When we got there, however, there was a sign that plainly said "NO U-Haul returns unless you rented it here. As a result we had to backtrack those miles and go farther down the road to more distant location. Additionally that Signature Paving had NO PERSONNEL on site to assist. That would not have been a problem had we been told ahead of time, but it took a bit of fumbling around with cell phones to complete the online return. Compared to ease with which we picked up the vehicle, it fell far short of expectations. I would have NO PROBLEMS recommending this location to others, but they would need to be forewarned about the need to self check in.

And they made it very convenient to return the truck by offering after hours drop off, and key box. The truck ran great, was comfortable, and clean. So glad to have them nearby!

Your call center leaves a lot to be desired, having to hold for 20 minutes is not good customer service, agents who cannot answer questions about the vehicles they are not renting is Pathetic and when persons don’t do the job they are paid to do just makes for a unhappy customer!

Absolutely ridiculous waste of time and very frustrating dealing with the customer NO SERVICE people. They can't tell me what equipment is available at the local dealer until I go through the painful process of interrogation. From this point forward, I will always use a private rental even at a much greater cost to me. I vote with my feet and I'm voting "no" to uhaul in the future. The customer is not the focus or a consideration. My local dealer saved the day with a high level professional service.

Lindsey @ Signature Paving was great to work with. She is great at this job and went out of her way to see that I was taken good care of. The man in the yard made sure the lights all worked before leaving the yard. They all represented U-HAUL to the highest degree. I will refer all family and friends to use this fine company who represents U-Haul So well. John. PS: Overhead door needs minor repair on this trailer.

Let customer know you are not open on the day they plan to return trailer. And make them aware that they will be parking in a different lot than where picked up. Also, actually provide space to park the return.

Thankfully the receptionist at the Newburg location was very helpful and understanding after scary semi life threatening experience. luckly for myself I did a full inspection on the trailer pre hook up and caught a tire that was separated, so badly that a 2inch circle of tread was missing from the driver's side rear tire. Knowing old construction bias ply tire that are in use have a great tendance to fail especially after 3-4 yrs I knew I should heavily inspect them pre trip... Thank God I know what to look for because after dropping the trailer back off the person that checked me in's only tire inspection was to hit the tire, my guess to check for air. If I hadn't had the knowledge and knew what to look for I would have 100% with out a doubt had a blow out. Which is pretty scary to know that most customers renting your trailers won't know what to look for

Everyone was very helpful. The initial person who checked me in was very nice and professional. I didn’t like having to leave it outside their gate if I returned after hours. However; someone was still there and this polite gentleman was also very professional and asked me how everything went. He checked in my trailer and I was promptly on my way.
