Not very well marked, equipment was dirty when I picked it up. Positioning for the trailers were not very easy for someone to pick up or drop off

KENNETH MThe U-Haul was filthy. I had to go to the power wash station and clean it myself. The ramp had three inches of mud on it, the cargo area was ripping in condensation which I sacrificed several towels to dry it off so not to ruin my product. The cab stunk like cigarettes and cigars. I have rented many uhauls and nothing was like this.

Gary Tlocation was closed at 1:30 pm on Sunday. had to return the trailer via the app but there was no wifi and very little cell service so it took multiple attempts to try to upload the return photos after timing out several times.
JAMES SThe person who helped me when I picked up my Uhaul did not specify what time I needed to return the truck. They just said "March 30" which led me to believe it could be any time that day, which is not true and caused a late fee. Additionally, he did not ask me to estimate the number of miles and did not communicate that we would be charged per mile. This also resulted in a financial consequence to me, as I was a first time Uhaul renter and would not have driven the truck as far as I did had I known I was being charged per mile.
MCKENZIE LThe gas cap holder wire was broken. Some folks could have lost it misplaced it. The gas cap/lid should be checked my management.

GARY MI was told the truck was full of fuel. It was less than half full. Now I’m being vastly overcharged for gas I never had or used. Bunch of bullshit liars and cheats!

The 2nd rental wad all through the app. Both drop off times were after hours. The process was smooth. The only difficulty was opening the lock on Box 4 to get the key. It took 3 of us multiple tries. Thank you for a great experience!
Dawn RThe on-site processing was smoothm, fast, and stress-free; better than most, if not all, UHaul locations I have visited across the country. I attribute this great experience to the relaxed and pleasant demeanor of the on-site employee. The location is a little outside of what most people would consider the city of Newberg so I could see how it would be inconvenient for many people -- however, it worked out alright for me. The only downside to this location is where I had to park and leave my personal vehicle. It felt very vulnerable to damage or theft since this is a somewhat remote and isolated location instead of being in a city, and I did not notice any security or surveillance cameras. At the end of the day, everything worked out great - I was just a little nervous when I first left my car behind. If you have a friend who can drop you off or pick you up before and after your rental then this is a fantastic location.

Terry PCryptic signs… no office. After spending 15 minutes loading app (had to have app or could not return there) due to poor signal in that area, then had to do all the check out work with pictures and documentation's in 95 degree heat… no shade … in the middle of what looks like a gravel pit, it made me wonder why I even use uhaul. Be sure I won’t again…

DANIEL EThe receptionist was extremely rude and disrespectful as a customer service representative. She made check-out very difficult and stressful. She later apologized for her behavior but the damage done took its toll on those trying to pick-up the rental, adding more anxiety and stress to an already very difficult day. I am sorry I rented from that company.
Tanis SIt's a little difficult to know where to go because there are a number of structures on the property and the office is not clearly marked. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, though.

JOHNGERALD LOne thing, The brakes failed to stop accurately they were sponging. I nearly got wiped out on highway 99. The brake pedal was too the floor. I put it in reverse to go swap for different truck even if I had to make a few more trips but then the brake started working again. It's like the hydraulics didn't get working well enough Initially. That was pretty frightening but they worked fine after that. Service was excellent other than that slight glitch.
Erich SThey moved us from our desired pickup location at the last minute to here and there was no service to use the app, which was required to get the vehicle. We had to drive several miles to get service to process our information. There was no one on site to assist. The guy that we called assistance reluctantly came to the office eventually to resolve the issues. Once the guy was at the office, he was a pleasure to work with.

Brad NThe pickup key location is not easily seen when you drive in, its located behind some concrete barriers. would be great if there was a sign that made it clear thats where you go to pickup the keys. Other than that, great experience.

Glena AThe practice of not having full gas tanks is really annoying. You can never get it exactly right and there's always a feeling you've overpaid slightly. Actually, not a big deal, but it feels like it. It would be great if this location, or U-Haul in general, invested in filling all the tanks, then just ask everyone to bring the truck back full - charge them if they don't, and go fill it up with the money charged. I also rented another truck recently for multiple days and I had to fill slightly mid-rental and then again at the end. If the truck started full, I wouldn't have had too - saving me time, hassle, and money.

Katrina BThe whole "Truck share 24/7" experience SUCKED, due to the crappy Android app! It took me more than 30 minutes with phone assistance to "pick-up" the truck. The windshield was so dirty that I almost couldn't see out of it.
Jason MQuick drop site, closed on Saturday afternoon and Sunday but able to use drop box on gate. Third party company is responsive to text messages for photos of drop and verification

Jerold SThere was a mix up in the number of days that I used the rental, but when u-haul discovered the mix up they called me right away and made it right. I couldn’t ask for better customer service, I would highly recommend their location for rental assistance.
Bobbie GThe people at Signature Paving were kind and pleasant to work with. The van cab reeked of animal urine. My husband had to clean by hand the floor mats and all plastic interior surfaces, but the fabric of both seats were saturated with the smell. We didn't have time to modify the rental, but rather had to cover both seats with towels to reduce the smell, and still came away from the drive with our personal clothing smelling of urine. The van functioned for our needs, but the experience was deeply unpleasant.
