I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent vehicle rental experience. The problem was that the pickup location provided was not the location I originally requested. Instead, I was directed to a location that was approximately 15 minutes out of my way, causing unnecessary inconvenience and delays. What made the situation even more frustrating was that when I arrived at my storage unit, I discovered that the local location actually had a truck available that was the same size and met my rental needs. Had the reservation been fulfilled at my requested location, I could have avoided the extra travel time altogether. I would appreciate an explanation as to why the pickup location was changed and would like this inconvenience to be considered when reviewing my rental experience. Mark GU-Haul had bugs (roaches) in the truck, when i informed the lady working she seemed to not care at all.
brittany cThe truck was old, dirty, with a broken visor and was o empty when I picked it up. I was told that I could return it with the same amount of gas as when I picked it up. When I dropped it off with less than a quarter tank, they said I would have to pay for additional gas. I advised them what I was told and showed them a picture of the gas gage from when I picked it up and I did not pay extra.

Kristen EWhen advertising the cost be up front with the actual price. You advertise a vehicle for a low price of $19.99 but when you want to get this truck for a day at this price you can’t, because you don’t let people know about the insurance they have to purchase and the miles you have to pay for and the gas and taxes you have to pay. Ending up starting out with an advertising price of $19.95 and ending up paying over $65.00 or more. To me your advertising price should indicate that to customers, but I guess that’s how businesses make money. Another lesson learned.
Caslee SI went to pick up my truck from the address given, the girl told me they should’ve called me and that it had been moved to another location. I picked this location because it was next to my house. I drove across town to go pick it up and I wasn’t able to access my code. I had to call the number and was transferred to four separate people before someone finally said it hadn’t been fully scheduled/submitted on their end. After she pushed it through I was able to access my truck but it was a pain and we wasted 45 minutes driving around and on hold trying to find someone who could help us.
