The clerk took over an hour. I had to leave and make a reservation because she didn't no how to access the web site. When I returned she couldn't find the key to the one truck that they had. After ¹ 1 hr 25 mins I finally got the truck. Returned it 45 mins later. . I waited 30 more mins until she finally told me to come back tomorrow because she didn't know how to close it out and give me a receipt.

I did not chose this location but was moved here for my pick up of a ten foot truck. The gentleman working had a computer that was slow and he was taking every gas customer ahead of me. This location added at least ten miles to my trip which I now have to pay for on top of my price quote. Not fair to be charged those miles.

This was the worst experience ever! It took over an hour to get through the check out process due to the operators not knowing how to input the info into the program or not knowing how to trouble shoot. On the return it took 2 days! The woman had no idea what to do took over an hour before she gave up. She promised to check the truck in the next day...it didn't happen, meanwhile my credit card was being charged again and again. There was also an extreme language barrier in that neither operators could converse in understandable English. Then dealing with the local u-haul area manager...eventually she helped but after being told she would call right back and she never did...it was all very frustrating and unnecessary. All in all it will not happen again as this u-haul location will not be used in the future.

Was the worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul. They had no idea how to use the internet. Customer service was Terrible. Would never go there again, and makes think twice next time I want to use U-HAUL. An be sure I will tell all how bad experience this was

This pick up location was awful I spent over an hour there the gentleman that worked at the mobile where you had the U-Haul at did obviously not do this often or have a clue with a major language barrier and I'm summing this up very nicely thank God I was one of the probably nicer clients because it was very poor , I finally after waiting on the phone for you guys for a very long time talk to a lady and then she transferred me to a dispatch guy that was very helpful but the man there did not know what was going on and that was a long frustrating got to our storage unit late experience I'm really hoping you guys can give a credit of some amount to compensate for the time and inconvenience of our long time waiting

My experience renting a truck from this location was extremely frustrating. When I initially arrived to the location, I tried to check-in with the clerk. I did not upload a photo of my license to the app before arriving and did not have my phone. The clerk was not trained to assist me, so I had to return home and complete the check-in process on my phone. Upon returning to the location, the software had a glitch that prevented the clerk from completing his process. The clerk then directed ME to call customer service for assistance with his partner software. I then was forced to review the issue with two CSR's and a regional manager that ultimately did not require that I sign a rental contract and instead sent it to my email. I was not provided with the furniture pads that I reserved. When I returned the truck I explained this to the clerk. When contacting Uhaul customer service to process the return, he asked that they refund me for the furniture pads, to which the CSR responded that they could not. Regarding the truck itself, the passenger door did not shut completely and the passenger side mirror could not be adjusted. Both significant safety issues.

Your company needs to get it together. terrible customer service and the man at the site i picked up the truck didn't know how to check out the truck. I HAD TO GO BEHIND THE COUNTER AND CHECK IT OUT FOR MYSELF! completely unacceptable. This was AFTER the location on cochran in simi valley FAILED to open at 8 am and my truck (the one i reserved a week in advance and got THREE confirmations that it would be ready) wasn't even there. I was TWO hours late and had to pay movers for those extra hours because your customer service is terrible. i demand an apology from your company and request that my fees be waived. i paid $300 extra for movers because of YOUR mistake! I had to physically go behind the counter and check out the truck ... the little Arab man had no idea how to operate the web site or even the lap top for that matter ..he never asked for I.d. So really could of been anyone ... didn't know where the keys where ... tried to say the tank was full in the truck ...which was just over a quarter tank ..the outside of the truck was filthy ...and parked under a tree which looked to be for months. ..used Kleenex and McDonald's still in the truck ...furminting fries when you open the door ... my opinion a gas station should not be trying to bite off more then they can chew in trying to collect “extra” revenue for there business ... when the building itself is bearly takin care of the man behind the counter can hardly operate the register ..let alone speak English

The Uhaul was part of a repair shop that is closed down. It is attached to a Mobile gas station and the attendant did not know or was trained on handling Uhaul rentals. She just asked me to check to see if there was damage and wrote down the miles and drew a picture of the gas gauge. I came back and what seems to be the owner of the Mobile was very condescending. He asked me a question but I didn't hear him clearly and said excuse me? Hoping he would repeat it, he just shook his head and said come inside. He then stood there without explaining anything and was playing with some type of Uhaul app on his phone. He did not communicate with me at all about what he was doing or what he needed from me. He continued to assist customers entering the store while I just stood there. He eventually finished typing things into the Uhaul app on his phone and asked me to take a photo of his phone as a receipt. I never write reviews but I had to on this one.

No one at pick up site to help, Waited 30 minutes. Truck was dirty (outside only) windows were filthy. Gas level was told to be at about 7/8 full. I filled up at pick-up location. It took 5.617 gallons to fill at a cost of $21.56 Not the best pick-up experience.

The truck was supposed to be in woodland hills, when i called to do the express check in, we find that they DID NOT have the truck. i had to call corporate to have them find a truck for us. they finally found one almost 10 miles away. unbelievable. But thank god for the location in simi valley. the owner named Ivan was amazing and Saved us. Thank you Ivan.. we owe you big time for saving us.

There was only one girl there that had to lock the gas station store to inspect truck and get equipment and I kept having to go back into store and wait while she helped other customers and then she handed me dollies all covered with dead leaves and walked away. Upon return, they couldn't get charge screens in Uhaul computer system to work and kept stopping to help other people so return took about 45 minutes.

when I called I said that I wanted to pick up the uhaul at the location at the los angeles st not at khener st, and that person said that I will be able to pick it up at the los angles st it was poor customer service and commication

This was the worst customer experience I have ever had. Uhaul sent me to this location even though it was over half an hour away from my home when there was plenty of locations nearby. I drove to Simi Fast Auto Care and passed the place because it is just a gas station with two Uhauls outside of it. I parked and went into the convenience store. There was only one employee working, a very young middle eastern guy who was very inexperienced renting out Uhauls and who spoke very poor English. I could not understand him most of the time he was speaking and he could not understand me. The process for him to check my truck out to me that I already reserved days in advance was a nightmare. He started working on the order and customers began lining up to pay for gas and snacks. He kept interrupting work on my order to help dozens of customers throughout the whole process (this wouldn't have mattered as much but I was on a tight schedule for the move and had my wife and 7 month old daughter with me). It was also very uncomfortable to have a long line forming behind us and then having him completely ignore us for several minutes at a time while he rang up everyone else. While he was working on this order he experienced a number of difficulties. I helped him out with one problem he was having. He entered my ID wrong into the system and it wouldn't let him proceed so I had to go around the counter and help him. Then, he didn't know what to do for the rest of the order so he kept calling someone on his cell phone (most likely the manager or owner) who tried to walk him through the steps. This did not help. In fact, the guy behind the counter handed me the cell phone at one point to speak to the guy on the phone directly and that was just as bad because the guy on the phone spoke English just as poorly. My wife, infant, and were there for over an hour. The guy behind the counter finally printed the rental agreement. I looked it over and noticed that he charged me for three dollies when I only rented two. I tried explaining it to him and he said that there was nothing he could do about it and that I would have to take it up with Uhaul afterwards (I became very upset at this point). When we went out to the truck he had me pull it around and then showed me that the gas tank was full and said "full with diesel". Luckily, I didn't trust him because of my previous experience renting Uhauls so I called Uhaul customer service to check what type of gas I should use and they said regular unleaded. There was also no lock on the back of the truck which there always has been on my other Uhaul truck rentals. I asked him about it and he kept saying "no lock" so I had to purchase my own. Lastly, he gave me the wrong dollies. On the Uhaul website I reserved a utility dolly and a furniture dolly. He gave me a furniture dolly and an appliance dolly (way heavier and costs $2 more) even though I had no appliances to move and like I said earlier, he charge

I chose a place 3 minutes from my house in Thousand Oaks to rent a truck but was reassigned to go here, which was 20 minutes away from my house. When I got there at 8 am., I waited for an hour just to get my truck. I had to provide the attendant three different credit cards just so that he could process my rental. The software was so horrible that he literally couldn't process my rental. And after the hour it took to rent, he forgot to remove the charge for the dollies I rented, which he didn't have. So I got charged for dollies I didn't rent (because they weren't available) and I had to scramble to find some dollies elsewhere. It was a horrible experience and I will most likely go elsewhere when renting a moving truck.

Not only was it extremely disorganized I had to wait an hour for the lady to find my reservation, input information and get me out the door. I was to pick up the truck at 8:30. I got there at 8:45 and was back to my house which is 5 miles away, at 10:10. I had paid movers waiting at my house at 9am. It cost me an additional $200 in labor that I would not have incurred had the rental gone smoother. I will never rent from UHaul again.

Mobil station, Too many distractions for the cashier. It took her 48 minutes and could not figure out the computer system to give me my truck. Thank god another worker showed up for a shift change and got me the truck. It took an hour , mean while it started raining and the items I was moving got wet. I use uhaul quite a bit, but have never had this experience . Thanks.

This guy was the most incompetent, least helpful guy that I have ever dealt with for a rental and almost for ANY business transaction. Though I had a printout of my entire reservation that I had made online, he ignored all my info, insisted on starting my rental from scratch, got EVERYTHING screwed up, and stretched out the entire rental process to, believe it or not, 3 HOURS from start to finish. To end things, he never checked out the truck with me and would not even look to see and confirm the amount of fuel in the truck, because he would not leave his office, just saying that if there was a problem to call customer service, which he made me do 4 other times during the contract set up process. He was the worst!! What you can do is have somebody else as your representative. I wouldn't have this guy serve as my company contact for garbage collection!

The gal who helped me was by herself for awhile with many customers coming in. It seemed she was having trouble with the uhaul proprietary software. I had input all the information online so that I could have a quick checkout, but the software seemed to be requiring all the same information again. Therefore, it took longer than normal to get checked out. Otherwise, the location, the customer service, and the equipment were great. I would use that location again, without hesitation.

They tried telling me I was 1/4 tank low which I wasn't because I just refilled at his station. Then after seeing my gas tank was where it should be he charged me $55 for gas. Had no explanation for the charge. All he said was to call U-HAUL.

Originally the trailer was scheduled for noon time. When I called in. I discovered I could pick it up much earlier. I think customers are in a hurry to get going and would appreciate earlier start times in general.

The U-Haul business associate that handled the pick-up location needs to know what he/she is doing. It took 1 1/2 hours to process the pick-up! This after I registered online two days prior. It caused a delay I couldn't afford to have. VERY DISSATISFIED!

All my equipment was not available. The process took a very long time. Lastly, the truck had animal feces in the driver and passenger area. I don't plan on ever doing business with uHaul as a result of this horrible experience.

THis place was the worst, they only have on truck on-site. I got there, and no one was their to help me. had to wait for 25 minutes for shop manager to arrive. i had a 5:00 pm guarenteed pick-up time. SHop manager said his computer showed no 'reservations', then realized he had no internet connection. i had pre-ordered a dolly and a fridge dolly, both of which werent at the site. I am extremely dissapointed at uhaul for letting people like that outsource thier busniess. i have been using uhaul in all my moving situations, and will probably avoid it in the future. Only way uhaul can redeem my patronage is by refunding my $50 due to time wasted at the shop/pick-up place and lack of backing thier guarentee of 500pm pick-up. PLEASE AUDIT YOUR 3rd PARTY OUTSOURCING LOCATIONS!. by the time i got my truck it was sunset.. Also since i didnt have dolly, the manager told me to drive(in teh big truck) TO THE next location to pick up the dolly that was supposed to be their in the first place. after using mileage on the truck to do his job, the other place had closed and no fridge dolly for me. frustration level definitely growing.It took me and my partner an agonizong time moving my fridge w/o the dolly THANX A LOT UHAUL>

OFFICE IS IN WORK AREA OF OLD SERVICE STATION. VERY DIRTY. LOTS OF JUNK CARS BEING WORKED ON. CLERK INITIALLY TOLD ME I NEEDED TO ADD GAS & THAT I HAD USED MORE DAYS THAN ALLOWED. NEITHER WAS ACCURATE & AFTER FURTHER REVIEW OF CONTRACT, HE AGREED. NOT MY USUAL EXPERIENCE WITH UHAUL.
