The return was great they understood that my wife was in hospital and took me home. The people there were great and very understanding. Thank you

Very nice and helpful. Made the transition easy and was very respectful on our needs.

I rented a truck and a car hauler trailer. While loading the car the tow hitch separated from the tow ball sticking my son who was guiding me on to the trailer. Obviously the trailer was not attached properly.

I needed a trailer for a fridge. I was told on the phone, not by this location, that there were no trailers near Simi and was first offered a 5x8 trailer. I nearly rented this trailer, until at the last minute I was told it was enclosed. I was then offered the next size up which would be the 10 foot truck. I rented this truck and was told I needed to be there by 4pm for pick up. I was there by three and as I walked in, they were renting my truck to someone on the phone. He verified my reservation and cancelled with the gentleman on the phone, who I now believe is Tyler B. I took the truck home and was given an additional 10 miles because the location was so far. Things were good and I was happy, until I got the truck home and realized there was no ramp. Then we realized there was not nearly enough clearance for the refrigerator, which is takes us back to the reason for the rental truck in the first place. The refrigerator ended up having to go in a pick up truck, after much struggling to get it in, and had to be laid down, due to the size of the fridge. I have heard that is bad for them so I am praying the fridge is okay now after the move considering it is just a couple of years old.

The shop needs more help or at least to move faster. took about 40 minutes to get everything done with only two people ahead of me. Guy in front of me said he was waiting about 45 minutes to be helped.

The people were knowledgeable and helped me pick the correct truck. They explained policies and things very well. Extremely cooperative. It was an excellent and pleasurable experience and I have had no experience with trucks. Would rent from then again, if I have any future need!!!

The owner needs to be a little more kind, friendly and professional. He is too sarcastic & stern, and doesn't realize that he is actually rude and it comes off as bad customer service. Also, the trucks should be rented with full tanks of gas to begin with. It's ridiculous to rent a vehicle with only 1/4 tank of gas, and it's bad customer service. I will not rent from this location again in the future.

When I showed up to pick up the truck that I reserved days before. The gentleman helping me at the counter told me I had to have the truck back by 2 o’clock because it had been reserved for some buddy else. I told him that could not happen and he said he didn’t care that I had to have it back. He changed his mind after a while. So he gave me a clipboard and had me go out to the truck that he directed me to go to it have a walk around the truck to note any scratches or dance. He watched me do that. I came back inside paperwork and drove off in that truck. I arrived at my home and begin to load that truck with my personal belongings for the move. About 30 minutes later the gentleman from that rental agency called me and told me that I had driven off in the wrong truck that I needed to bring it back Which I did. I switch the trucks and went back home opened up the back of that truck and noticed there was not a dolly in it. I called him and he told me I should’ve checked before I drove off, he took no responsibility for that. I was in about to drive back to get a deal with that rude person. He was unprofessional, condescending and simply rude. I called your complaint line and was treated with the same indifference and rudeness. I would like a phone call or an email from one of your managers.

Need more clerical help, lots of people waiting, only one clerk for rentals

The rental location advised me that my rental would be cut in half upon return as I was returning it on the same day. That was, apparently, not true. I asked why it was booked for 2 days when I only needed it for 1. He advised that upon return I would only be charged for 1 day. I also noted that I didn't want to be charged the extra mileage because Uhaul changed my rental location and therefore made it so I was charged more miles. He said both would be taken care of upon return. Not to mention when Uhaul customer service called to tell me my location was changed they said it was "Temple Street" in Simi Valley and there is no such thing. The U-Rent location I was moved to was on "Tapo Street."

The location was great, however the online ‘save time by checking in on time’ was ridiculous! It took two times to upload the front of my DL and 6 times to upload the back. A customer who went inside after I had started the process finished ahead of me! After the DL finally uploaded and was being checked, they came back with ‘We need the names and phone numbers of 2 friends/relatives.’ I went off on the person and finished the check in at the counter. If you needed my DL and two friends why didn’t you add it to the online information I was providing during the reservation process? Why did you wait until I was there and phone signal not good and raining?

Experience was good, no recommendations at this time.

Simi Urent is one of the valleys best for your rental needs.

Reserved a truck on Monday to pick up Friday. Upon arrival to pick up truck late Friday I was told the truck I reserved the day before was ready. I was also told that "the boss" changed my order. I had no choice but to take the much larger truck due to no notice. I was offered no compensation other than being charged the rate of the truck I actually reserved. Upon returning the vehicle I voiced that the truck was an inconvenience. It was made apparent that I was being unreasonable. I will not be returning to this location to rent anything and will avoid UHaul in the future.

This was a brand new trailer and the tailgate was to short to reach the ground, almost useless. Wouldn't use it again.
