I opened the lockbox and there was no key. I was unable to access the truck. Once I got into contact with U-Haul they were very good and apologetic. But these “automated” sites are very poor.

Very bad experience. We have booked for dollys to avoid lifting. Uhaul charged for the equipment but was not able to provide them. The excuse is, because it is Mobile pick up they may not be able to provide. If that is the case why is it not highlighted when ordering the equipment as Mobile pick up.

Improve 24/7 pick up program so that customers can check in without having to contact live agent. After signing in, fix phone system so it doesn't hangup on customers friends/family's when UHaul calls people to verify customers identity. Ensure the proper code is given for the lock to access the rental truck keys or the combination lock is working properly

The location wasn't easy to find (its not actually on steeles, but it might be due to construction). Its also in a very dirty/uninviting area, my fiancé was scared to go alone :-(

The location is very difficult to be found, it toke me over 15 minutes to find it, there are no clear signs, and the sign for entrance is placed at the wrong entrance.

A U-Haul representative did not schedule my pickup time correctly so after driving 3 hours to and from the pickup location my U-Haul was unavailable. I was only refunded $50. I will not be using U-Haul again.

Difficult to find based on the address. For future customers, I would include a small note about how to find the address (need to turn off Old Kennedy Rd instead of Steeles)

Needed furniture pads and dolly, and neither was provided. Still got charged. Tank was quarter full only, If I'm going to top up the tank before returning the vehicle at least have it filled half way so I don't need to worry about gas during the move.

The overall experience is terrible! Not only did online self check-in and check-out are very poorly designed and is not compatible with all platform. The live support is non-existent! The amount of time I wasted under the sun to figure it out cost my valuable money which I was supposed to be driving the rental. Moreover, the pick up location is hard to find, deserted, quiet, unsafe for customer to go by themselves. I will bring this up to social media platform and warn others to look for alternative rental companies!

Only issues are the poor access due to construction on Steeles Ave. The road to the facility has a number of potholes as well, which doesn't improve the driving experience at all.

The attendant was very helpful but the location is not pleasant. It is amongst shady looking businesses with a lot of scrap materials all over the place. The fact that it is not a Uhaul dealer also means that there was nothing we could do about a misunderstanding about a dolly versus a hand cart.

Absolutely love the service. San is the one who I dealt with at the centre and he was extremely helpful. It snowed a lot on that day but he made sure everything was ready for me when I arrived. Will definitely go back and I highly recommend these guys to anyone.

It was my first time with Uhaul, so I decided to use the mobile option because of Covid. But the location sharing doesn't work, even though I enable it. Before getting there the whole place is fenced off, I had to hop over the fence or do a 15 mins walk detour. But when I check in, I was not familiar with the self check around the car, I ignored that minor paint spot at the left bumper, now I have to pay $200 for the damage that was not even a damage and it was there in the first place, no one gave me a detail explanation on what to do, how am I suppose what to look for. Now I have to call customer service to dispute this charge. The First Lady sent me to Insurance said no record, so 2 hours of sending me to different people. Finally a girl helped me out, I think I will get an email, so my first experience was awful.

The location was extremely difficult to locate. The process was extremely difficult to navigate when you're in a hurry. I wasn't a fan of that. Also the price I ended up paying in the end ended up being more than I anticipated. I will probably try Home Depot the next time.

I made an order at 7 pm but cannot pick up without any notice. I called and chatted a lot of times mostly no answered for five hours at night with my family and drove 35 km to take the truck there 12 am finally. Had to pay 50 dollar more. What do you think?

The lock was hard to open and we had to struggle with it. Also the fact that you have to call an alternative contact before you can release the truck is frustrating as the contact person may not be around to answer the call

Got a vehicle with a check engine light during a critical move. Location is hidden behind construction. Android app does not upload images. Had to use an iPhone to complete the check out and check in.
