Clive B.Steve did everything possible to make my trailer pick up smooth and easy. At first there he wasn't sure he would have the size trailer I wanted. He had one scheduled in, but wasn't sure it would be ready on the day needed. Arrangements were made to get it in Sweetwater vs Snyder, but when the size trailer was turned in Steve made adjustments so I could get it in Snyder. Thanks Steve, all went very well. Well done. If Steve did all this for me, I'm sure he will help you too.
William C.The day before I was scheduled to pick-up my U-haul in Sweetwater, Texas the truck was taken that night and I had to drive 50 miles one-way to Synder, to pick-up another U-haul. A 100 mile round trip put a crimp into the loading schedule. Yes, I got the 50 extra miles added to my rental agreement but no compensation for the additional feul cost for either the U-haul or my personal vehicle a total of 150 miles was driven. Where as the U-haul in Sweetwaterwas only 6 blocks away from my home where all the arrangements were made and the truck was sitting right there at the time. Poor customer service

Albert R.We were unable to pick up our truck in the location we requested. We were sent here, he would not allow us to pick up our truck at the time we had requested and had been approved with our reservation. We were not given our 27 foot truck we had reserved but we did get the 20 foot which was not big enough, our cost did not change with the smaller truck. Why do you allow reservations if you do not uphold them. Super disappointed.

Terry L.The owner of the location needs more familiarity with your mobile reservation and checkin options. I did my reservation online and checked in online. When I went inside to pick up the key, the owner of the location was rude and dismissive. He made me wait until he had finished setting up another customer who had not made a reservation. When I told him that I needed to pick up a key for my online reservation he said “you can't do thatâ€. I informed him that I made an online reservation and had started the online checkin process and he said that I couldn't have done so because uhaul hadn't told him about it and that everything had to go through him. At this point he hadn't even bothered to look at my phone which had the key pickup screen open or look at his own computer. He told me over and over that I couldn't pick up the vehicle because he hadn't “staged it†and that I hadn't done a contract with him. When I told him I did the rental agreement online, he said that wasn't sufficient. It seemed as though he was insisting I needed a paper copy. Once he checked his computer he did give me the key to the truck but berated next for accidentally clicking the confirmation that I had the key before he gave it to me. I was thrilled to discover I did not need to interact with him again to return the truck using the online return and key drop box. I like the online option a lot. Please educate the owner of the Snyder, TX location on how to use it.
