I was overcharged. I was charged for gas. I was charged for over 8 miles. From my front door to the office front door of the facility it’s 1.4 miles including a stop for gas on the same road. I left the uhaul, went home, loaded the truck and dropped it off. No detours, my new storage is at the facility. If I made the same trip twice and we said it was 1.5 miles including distance, I would still only be at 6 miles. So something is rigged with the trucks. And to be charged $11 for gas when their fee is $9 a gallon. I put gas in the truck even though it wouldn’t need it for 2.8 miles and still got charged. Something shady going on here. It is my understanding that I have to take up these issues not with the facility but uhaul by phone. The people at this facility are usually very helpful and I believe they would be if they were in charge. So my complaint is uhaul is doing shady things with the mileage and gas! There’s NO POSSIBLE WAY I drove more than 3 miles but it says 8!! I want to be reimbursed for the gas and mileage fee.

We dropped off the uhaul in the same exact condition it was in when we picked it up. No accidents, no damage, no extra mileage, and an almost full tank of gas. The receipt says that at 1:30 we were in an accident. At 1:30 it was safely parked in the almost empty parking lot of my building, no accident occurred. It also states that there was seat damage. We never damaged the seats, we sat in that vehicle for a total of 2 hours before unloading it and returning it. Absolutely disappointed and will not use uhaul again. We treated it with complete respect and were still accused of damage. I just graduated and have so little money to spare. My authorized driver did an excellent job and I was right there in the passenger seat to make sure. Never again.

MICHAEL DU-Haul truck was in awful shape and drove poorly. Low tire pressure indicator was malfunctioning. It is abhorrent to charge this much for a dilapidated truck. I would be embarrassed to rent out a truck in this shape and you should be too. Folks at the location were very helpful but the rental truck was pathetic…if you are going to rent out trash, you should charge less…pretty simple.
CHRISTOPHER GI understand that the truck was one of them that was brought to the site for the move in/out rush. I was told that it was one of 3 vehicles that had faulty tire pressure sensors. There was a loud hum that seemed to come from the right side. The frequency increased with speed. I was always driving in Drive, butt at almost all speeds the mpg efficiency gauge was typically redlined. The truck was in need of a thorough maintenance check.
ROGER MI was hoping for a more welcoming experience, but unfortunately the interaction felt cold and somewhat rude. I believe better communication and a friendlier approach would make a big difference for future customers.

Kristen OWorst service ever. They changed my pickup location in David a day before I flew in and it wasn’t open at 8:30am when I got there. I called customer service and was told they’d connect me to the scheduling dept. The scheduling dept doesn’t open until 9am. Wait 30 minutes. Once I got a hold of someone they said the u-haul office doesn’t open until 10am. They found a u-haul they could accommodate me with but I had to walk 1/2 mile to the other u-haul location to get it. They gave me a max discount of $90 and out the door cost was almost $600 anyways. I had one day to move and the 2 movers I lined up at 9:30am only had 1 hour to move instead of 2. I feel sorry for the people that have to work there.

The vehicle itself was fine and well maintained, and the rental was available when I needed it. My only frustration is with the app and company app customer service experience.

GREGORY HI went in to pick up the truck and there was a nice man working there who was very helpful. When I returned, there was a different man working there who was very rude. I told him that even though I only drove 12 miles total, when I went to fill up the vehicle (which they told me to do before returning), I paid $19 in gas and had to fill up 3.6 gallons. He then turned very rude and only calmed down once I showed him a picture that I took of the odometer during my ride. I will definitely be filing a complaint, and this guy was very disrespectful.

Nader BI returned the truck after hours. I did not interact with any staff. The website instructions say to leave the truck in on the lot. However, the location was gated. After a great amount of stress, I got lucky in that another person was dropping off their truck and told me that I should park the truck on the street. Uhaul should have provided more clear instructions for this location.
