The registering systems are too old I had to leave and waste many hours because it was not working. Computers and machines need refresh. The cars needs cacumme and cleaned. Hope these get fixed.

GREGORY HI went in to pick up the truck and there was a nice man working there who was very helpful. When I returned, there was a different man working there who was very rude. I told him that even though I only drove 12 miles total, when I went to fill up the vehicle (which they told me to do before returning), I paid $19 in gas and had to fill up 3.6 gallons. He then turned very rude and only calmed down once I showed him a picture that I took of the odometer during my ride. I will definitely be filing a complaint, and this guy was very disrespectful.

Nader BI returned the truck after hours. I did not interact with any staff. The website instructions say to leave the truck in on the lot. However, the location was gated. After a great amount of stress, I got lucky in that another person was dropping off their truck and told me that I should park the truck on the street. Uhaul should have provided more clear instructions for this location.

PAMELA SThis was my first time using U-Haul, and it was terrible. The truck I was given looked like it had been around for at least 30 years, with awful brake performance. The cart I had reserved was not available, and the truck's floor was covered in dirt, making it very filthy. It was ridiculous to be told to clean the inside of the truck and return it, especially since my belongings would get dirty. I ended up cleaning the floor myself to avoid dirt on my things. The ramp was covered in small stones and dirt, so I also cleaned that up. When I started, the fuel gauge was slightly above 1/4 (about 20%), and I drove 22 miles. I put 2 gallons of gas in and returned the truck, but the receipt I received the next day charged me $10.33 for gas. My time is worth $100 per hour, and while it feels like a waste of time to claim this, the U-Haul company is so unreliable that I will never use them again.

James MThe service was excellent, the van worked great, and there was good street parking for my car while I used the van I rented. My issue is with U-Haul, some of whose vans are so limited there is not even a single USB port to keep your phone charged. I asked U-Haul and their advice is, "after the reservation is made, contact us [U=Haul] and we can have you speak with your local scheduling office to have the equipment assigned to you with the features you are needing." Meanwhile, the van I got had two cigarette lighters and one AC outlet that would work with your device's power adapter and charging cable. There was a 3.5mm audio port into the audio system. The "Menu" button on the van's sound system was not functional, but maybe there's bluetooth? My advice, if you expect to keep your devices charged or play thorough the van's speakers, bring adapters!

CHARLES TMy rental was changed from near my home to another city. When I arrived for my 5am reservation , the truck was not available. It was wedged with the back against the fence in between four other trucks with no access key or anything else. Apparently, the general manager was not available to answer the phone and nobody was coming for another four hours.. I could not start the job while I had my team for help which pushed me to a third location, another city even further away in a different county to get a truck. The people at that facility were nice, but at this point I had now lost hours, and gas in my personal vehicle. And I had to pay for that rental twice as much as the first one while U-Haul held onto my money from the first one.. it’s also added many miles for me to pay for using the truck and I did not have a team of helpers the second day so I had to unload myself. I lost the day of work.. Altogether the entire process cost me three times what it should have and I need to be reimbursed not just for the original rental, but for all the additional costs..

JOSEPH HThe staff in office, has told me that the tank was full and return back full, else we will charge you $9 per gallon. I have drove only 16 miles and I filled the gas that cost me $38 ( 2miles per gallon average). I made a complaint to staff and he said that it was your fault, you should have check before. if that the case why he told me that the tank is full.

Cole MThe problems I experienced with U-Haul were not related to the individual locations. My experience was poor overall with U-Haul itself. Scheduling changes, deleting items from the contract, further scheduling changes, unwarranted billing charges, constant changes in pick-up/drop-off locations, not having items I requested on hand at time of rental. The list goes on and on and on and on. Phone calls that were redirected multiple times - "I'm sorry, we can't help you with that, you must speak to so and so at this office." It was a complete circus and the individuals that run the locations were unable to assist in anyway due to the way that U-Haul operates. I don't hold the location owners at fault. I hold U-Haul at fault. This was the most stressful and most convoluted moving experience ever. I still have not received a credit for overbilled miles that I was told would be taken care of at the time of check out (after being on the phone over an hour with 2 different individuals).
Michael MThe GPS system for the 24/7 mobile pickup was pretty rough. It wouldn't recognize that I was standing in front of.the lockboxes. Had to call customer service for a manual override. Phone staff was wonderful! It would also be much more helpful to know the exact pickup timeslot before the online system rejects it for being too late. I thought I had an hour or so, but when I was on the phone, they said I had probably missed the timeslot since it was (at that point) 26 minutes after the listed time. Listing a pickup window as "no later than time x" or " time x to time y" would have made the process easier.
