Johnnell JohnsonWhen I returned the moving truck to the rental location, I was informed that I would be charged for the fuel used. I initially didn’t have an issue with this until the salesperson checked the fuel gauge and told me there would be a 28.00 dollar charge. I disagreed with the salesperson with the amount of fuel I used for my 19 miles. I checked the fuel gauge before leaving the lot and once I returned the vechile and the fuel gauge was only slightly less than when I returned. The salesperson was adamant I used more fuel than I claimed. I eventually went and put more fuel in the truck, needless to say I will not be using this location again nor will I recommend it to anyone.

Marcius GriffinOverall, the employees at this facility were always pleasant. However, the unit itself was less than adequate. For example, there was water leakage in the unit itself, soo much so, that some of my items were damaged, also, huge water bugs, and rat droppings! Now, I'm aware it's hard to control rodents, in a large older building, but, there was no bait set out for either pests'. The facility also needs to adjust the hours to benefit the client as well...like being open on Sundays, would be one suggestion. Also, the lighting is poor, the motion sensors for the lights, simplly don't work like they should. Hence, overall, for what is charged each month ($52.00/5×5 per/mo.), the conveniences simply don't match the services, too expensive for what you get!! I definitely would not recommend this particular facility for storage!!

This way the customer can keep the keys and take pictures BEFORE depositing the keys in the return box. The app does not let you upload pictures you already took, you have to take pictures real time.

DOMINIQUE COLLINS ROSSWorst experience ever. First, I scheduled to pick up the vehicle at 9:00 AM, and the person that ran the office showed up at 9:40 and did not care at all that I was in a serious time crunch. I scheduled a 20' truck, a furniture dolly, a utility dolly, and a 10-pack of furniture pads. None of which were available. I was "upgraded" to a 26' truck which a) takes a ton more gas to drive it and b) I did not have enough to even remotely fill it so because we didn't have furniture pads a lot of my belongings were ruined. I had hired help to load the truck, and scheduled for them to arrive at 10:00 AM - which they did. But, because the location for pick-up was 7800 SOUTH (and I'm 3300 NORTH) in Chicago (20-minute drive with no traffic) - we did not arrive at my place to load the truck until 10:45. The help I hired is $120 an hour and I had them scheduled for two hours. We went over the time limit and they had to move their next job back an hour because of this situation. Driving a 26' truck was horrifying. I have tried to call U-Haul customer service for TWO WEEKS and have not been able to get through to ANYONE - even waiting on hold for over an hour on a few different occasions. There is not a space for me to talk to anyone about the "upgrade" or the items missing from the rental that I needed. To make this easier for you to understand: I am very angry at what time I finally got my rental, I am very upset that I was not able to get the items that I had reserved, I am very angry that the man that showed up did not have any sense of urgency, I've lost items in the move because the furniture pads were not provided, I am very upset that I had to pay more to the help that I hired to help us load the truck because of the late start, I am very upset that I was given a 26' truck because it takes a lot more gas to drive it and considering its size, was far too large for what I needed. I need to get this settled with you and the insurance so I can get my money back and money back from insurance for the items that were lost or damaged. Someone needs to get into contact with me to settle this situation.
Melissa LabusI rented from you a while back and I really thought or recall I had unlimited mileage but my mileage was high for .99 a mile and the increase in taxes took my to an additional $50.00 that was really high. So help your customers to keep renting but help us in the area of rates and taxes. Thank you

I do not understand how someone else was under my reservation and why the guy didn’t make sure it was the right reservation.

Leroy woods | Overall ExperienceThis storage facility is good if you are looking for a low-cost storage that you will use periodically. I had no major issues at this location; however, because of the entryway, it is less accessible. This is an old-school storage, with little electric anything. Your items will not be temperature controlled, and you must physically open the doors as to drive your vehicle in for loading. There were some hiccups, but overall I understand that you get what you pay for. Not a high-quality storage facility, but will definitely fit your storage needs. Would recommend!
