nick sI had originally made a reservation for a cedar rapids location. That location ended up changing my rental to waterloo which was an hr from where I lived. I had to go thru the hassle of calling twice to speak to someone who finally got me pointed into oelwein. It was a huge mess. Luckily the oelwein uhual owner saved the day. If it was not for him I would have not used uhaul .

Crystal HThis was the first time I rented where the gas tank was not full. Not a huge deal but a little inconvenient when you have a specific time schedule to meet and you have to make a pit stop on the way there rather then on the way back as I had planned in the schedule based off of several prior experiences where the tank was already full. Other than that, a pleasant experience. The owner of this facility is always friendly and helpful.

Mark ZI’ve utilized this rental location several times. The salesman is always very friendly and pleasant to work with. The only problem I’ve run into is, I usually need to rent on a whim with little notice and the equipment I would like to rent is not always available. It’s already rented out. Sometimes I settle for what equipment is available but other times I need to rent elsewhere at a less convenient location for me.
beth bI have used Uhaul many times over the past several years and continue to be very happy with it! My only change would be for Uhaul to offer free mileage and a higher fee for high mileage trips!

penny cI was told I couldn’t have the truck I requested (20 feet) and was instead assigned a 10’. When I arrived and returned to the location,, a 20 foot truck was in the lot. Because of this, not only did I pay for a truck that didn’t hold everything, but I have to take another 4 hour round trip to get the rest of the items that wouldn’t fit in the small truck. Definitely got stiffed by Uhaul on this one.

lonnie eIssues: We had to travel over 30 miles to pick up a truck. The pick up time we were given was 2 hours later than we requested. We had two unopened bags of packing blankets. We could not get a refund for those. The good: Jerry in Olwein was absolutely great and so helpful.
