The truck smelled so bad of cigarette smoke I had a coughing fit and then a horrible migraine. I had to buy one of those stinky little trees to try and cover the smell. Even the pocket in the door was full of ashes.Lisa W.

I was extremely disappointed and frustrated with UHaul services and will not use it again. I could not get the correct truck that I reserved. I had to wait for over an hour to speak with a customer representative over the phone. I was hung up on several times after being transferred. It was an overall horrible experience and UHaul gave me a $10 refund as a resolution, which was basically like saying they could care less about my experience.TRACY G.
They did not have a truck for me in Fairmont, NC after I had reserved one weeks before and called the day before to make sure they had one. Had to wait 30 minutes before they found one 30 miles away. It took two hours from my packing time. Was not a happy camper and would not recommend Fairmont as a pick up point.BRIAN S.

I never received my check for 91 dollars. Am very disappointed in the laurinburg, NC location . The truck smelled like nasty cigarette smoke. It was very unpleasant to have to smell the nasty smoke for 225 miles! I would impose a clean up charge or fine on the previous renter. The next issue was that the store owner was required to open the door at 900 am but did not open the door until 930 am. I was standing outside the location and knocking on the door. hello, Is this location open today? Third issue: The people at this location also did not verify with me the day before regarding supplies. I had requested 10 pads in the truck only to find out much to my chagrin at pickup time that the location does not have/stock any pads. That wouldve been good information to know beforehand so To improve service for the next customer you may want to actually call the customer the night before to verify the equiptment order. Unfortunately, I could not wait to get the pads from another U-Haul location as i was supposed to meet the movers at a nearby storage location to pack up my stuff. So, in short, nothing but a damn hassle by some inexperienced crew at the locationDAVID F.
