The truck had something spilled in the cab which I had to clean up before I returned it so I wouldn't be charged. I completed the pick-up via the app and when I looked in the truck there was no appliance dolly. I was told to contact customer service, while I was going through this process, they left the truck running and ultimately the gas that was on the contract was not what I ended up leaving with. I then had to drive to another location to pick up the appliance dolly which they did not have, so I had to get a utility dolly. I scheduled the Uhal with an anappliance dolly which I never got and the regular dolly was not sufficient for what I needed it for. I was charged $13 for a utility dolly when it says $7 on the app and dolly itself. After all of this I was an hour and a half late to meet with moving helpers.
Tonya GBreak fluid was leaking and door were bent causing it to be difficult to close once open. Location also gave me inaccurate information which caused me multiple issues I'm now resolving. Staff however was friendly.
jessica fI have mobility issues and rented a van. They changed me to a truck without notifying me. The rental location is on the side of a hill. The trucks were parked so close together it made it more difficult to get into the vehicle. I nearly fell backwards out of the truck trying to get in. The truck was dirty. When we decided there was no earthly way to use this truck, they charged me over $100 for a 40 minute round trip to return the truck 23 hours early. The only bright spot was the guy working overtime helped me get the keys out of the lockbox
KIMBERLY EEverything was smooth. People were nice. Truck did what it was supposed to. I didn’t get any extra charges like I have from another location in Bloomington that is no longer operating. This is how a U-Haul rental should go.

BRANDIS YFriendly and helpful people. Dropping off the vehicle is quit as is the response as far as extra charges. I did turn in the vehicle clean and swept out with the furniture pads neatly folded. Not quite sure why I did not get the $25 credit for turning in a clean vehicle.

BENJAMIN DIt took Us Over an hour to pick up after hours. The truck was up in the back lot parked not up by the store with Rest. Spent 30 min with U-Haul trying to find truck. Keys were in box judge no truck in sight. Truck was newer and clean so we liked that.

TROY BWe started our journey early so we could get the truck back before they closed at 1pm. I got there 25 minutes early and it was locked. Another customer had come up from Evansville to pick up a truck and was very upset that it was locked. There was no note on the door for anyone to call to figure out what to do. Bad experience!
ANNE FTruck bed had nails and pieces of wood in the back. It also had and a quarter inch of water in it. I had to take a broom to the back to clean it out personally. I would like a credit or reduced payment based on the condition. I also left the truck with a 1/2 gallon and picked it up with 1/4.
TY CPut the ubox on a more even ground or rotate it so that they can access the ubox with a cargo van more easily.

SHELBY LDon't count on the employees at U-Haul to help direct you if you load a low-profile car onto a trailer. They're not skilled enough to truly help you keep your car from being damaged.
RYAN NLocation is always prompt, trucks are in decent shape, and check-in/out process usually runs smoothly. It was below zero the day I picked up the truck and the guys had started it and let it run so that the interior was nice and toasty when I arrived.

BRYAN JI dropped off last month and picked up this month here. The men who helped me were friendly. I had to ask to have them check my taillights and turn signals. My one BIG issue is that I rented a 5x8 trailer that has a strap for the door that raises like a garage door - I got it home and had it mostly packed. I went to shut it and it wouldn’t pull. I called uhaul and the kid who answered told me I could swap it out in the morning. I told him that was unacceptable as it was packed. He sent me to roadside and a nice man cane out and told me this is a KNOWN ISSUE and they should have shown me how to place the door hook before letting it raise. It took him 10-15 minutes to get this door unstuck. Also, it was very hard to close.
Ahnna WSuper cool place to rent! Staff is very knowledgeable and they always have sports on the TV. Nice folks.
Southside RI was charged for an extra day because they said it was late on the return. The store opens at 8:00am and they had customers ahead of me inline. By the time they entered into the computer the return it showed an 8:15 am return time charging me and extra day. The lot is fenced and locked so you have to return the trailer during business hours. The part the lot that isn’t fenced in is on a hill so you can’t leave it there. I chose the $8 safe tow but was charged twice for that as well. As soon as I unhooked the trailer they hooked it up to another customer so they made double the money on the same trailer. There were also two marker lights out but they weren’t concerned about that. I purposely requested to get the trailer at a different store that was a few miles away from my house. The confirmation had me pick up and drop off at the store across town. A big F YOU to Southside Rental.

ROBERT GThe oil percentage was at 7% which I thought was low. The dash indicated that the tire pressure monitoring needed serviced and the vehicle was not the cleanest although that doesn’t matter to me all in all this was a great experience and I appreciate everything.

JAMES BMy U-Haul had duct tape holding the radiator hose on the radiator. It blew up on i64 six days ago in Frankfort Ky. We had to stay overnight in a hotel with a newborn baby and our 9 year old. No one has ever contacted me from my haul on this matter. I’ve called over 12 times. Worst business in the US
BRANDON SMy truck broke down while I was on a 2 lane road and I was fortunate not to get in an accident. The customer service rep at corporate U-Haul accused me of not having gas. The truth was I picked it up and it was on E and I put a quarter tank of gas in it. The reason it broke down was due to an electrical issue. No one offered me any compensation for the 2+ hours I lost while waiting for the repair.
MICHAEL KI was in a dangerous situation- headlight out- the back door kept getting stuck up and if it weren’t for tall men I would have been unable to drive- parking break not working well- last time I rented the brakes were a little iffy- as a woman I am tough but putting me in a dangerous situation is not good- the organizers do not want me renting any longer through UHAUL- I am no safe and the thousands of dollars of musical equipment is not safe

MAURICE SThe truck's interior was really dirty. A layer of dust on everything; spilled drink splashed on dash and in cupholders. Also, the truck was out of alignment - pulled right at highway speed.

HARVEY A10' truck was not there for pick on Friday at 8am. Needed to wait until 8am on Saturday. Was charged $10 for PO (12) - 2, 6 pads which I didn't ask for and did not use (stayed packed upon return).
RICHARD SThank you for always being so accommodating to me. I picked up a 20’ truck and realized after a half hour that I wasn’t comfortable driving that big of a truck. So I called U-Haul and they said there was a 10’ truck available to swap out in Bloomington. Everyone was so nice. Thank you!
