They charged me an exorbitant price. I mainly paid for the U-Haul for 5 hours plus 50 miles because that was an estimate of how far the truck would travel—maybe a little more, maybe a little less. Plus, when I picked up the truck, it had no gas; the tank was empty. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I couldn’t access the storage facility where I was going to store the items I’d moved in the truck that day, so I had to pay for the truck for an additional 24 hours, and they charged me directly for 50 more miles—without giving me the option to remove those miles—which I clearly never used because the truck wasn’t going anywhere. I just had nowhere to leave the items, so they had to stay in the truck in the parking lot while I waited until the next day for them to let me in. And as if that weren’t enough, I returned the truck with half a tank of gas—I spent $80 on gas—and on top of that, they wanted to charge me an extra $120 on top of what I’d already paid. I filed a complaint because I didn’t think it was fair to pay that, and even so, they still charged me $70 on top of everything I’d already mentioned that I had to pay. Terrible experience.

We came from Tyler and it poured down while we were traveling so we had to go slower for and hour to get there. We called to let him know we were going to be late.
