The location was fine. The reserving process was terrible. Had a 5 mile move reserved a week prior to move. Verified the uhaul in the same town i was living in and moving to the house was 3/4 of a mile away. Then 2 days before move was called and told I had to go to the next town over 20 miles away to pick up uhaul and had to return the uhaul to the same location. Added 40 miles to my move. Which was 40 extra dollars plus tax. I will never use uhaul again.James S.

Somehow take the return process down to a minimum. It took forever to virtually return the truck. Just when I thought I was finished I would have to turn around and walk back to the truck to do some other task. I understand why, but a warning would've been nice.Richard W.
I have rented rental trucks over a dozen times in my life, and have not ever had as bad of an experience right off the bat before even turning the truck on. First, have a truck with working air conditioning in the middle of August on blazing hot day. Second, have your dispatch call people when you promise they will call by. I was told I would receive a call by 7 PM regarding limited availability at my desired pickup location. I had to call UHAUL the next morning. Have accurate pictures and descriptions of preexisting damage to the truck in online self-inspection tool so people don't have to spend 15 minutes taking pictures and writing descriptions of a heavily scratched and banged up truck - that is probably the proprietor's job. The truck was clean though. Oh, and the rental proprietor told me just before I walked out to the truck by myself when I declined the insurance that the AC had 'just failed' right before I picked up the truck. Unfortunately, I got sun stroke that day, and not having AC in the truck didn't help. The only redeeming thing about this rental fiasco was the $50 rental guarantee I was offered only because I had to travel over 20 minutes one-way in the opposite direction I was headed and dispatch didn't call me at all due to a "glitch".John H.
With the weather being hot, I was the second customer to report the AC blower motor wasn't working. The manager at the rental site said I was the 2nd one to report it to him, and he already report it to U-haul, but he didn't seem like it was a big deal.Donald F.

I got confused upon returning on why the key drop off on the side of the building was locked. Turns out key return is mounted on the deck around the corner. I called haul and waited when I finally got somebody on chat it disconnected. And I had to start all over. It would be good if the two were next to each other or a sign saying key drop off around corner or an arrow. Overall the experience was *****!Darryl G.
