The office was closed, where we were supposed to do the drop off because someone was sick. Took multiple calls to finally get someone. They assured us if we left the U-Haul there, it would be taken care of. Luckily, we took photos of gas and mileage, because U-Haul tried to charge us extra money for going over the miles and not enough gas when we had taken care of all that.

LINDA MThe U-haul was in very bad condition, the brakes were bad, and some of the headlight areas were cracked and the plastic surround from it flew off on the highway. The vehicle was terrible on fuel and we ended up having to make 2 trips because we were worried about overloading and breaks going out on us. We rented u-haul before and never received a truck in this bad of condition as this one. The headlights were very dim where driving at night was also very complicated. I think these vehicles need to be checked out and serviced better before sending them out.
Angel WThe use of this vendor was predicated upon the original uhaul affiliates poor service. After reserving a trailer at another shop the agents didn’t answer phone calls then stated they didn’t have the trailer I had reserved. Thus on a scale of 1 to 100 uhaul gets a fifty. That is a failing score
david sTruck was never cleaned inside or out. Dead bug was smashed inside on windshield. Had to clean and wipe down truck myself.

Brian RThis was not location that we were supposed to pick up at it was 13 miles away. The truck was not filthy but the interior certainly had not been wiped down. The check engine light was on on start up and went off after a few miles, it came back on when it started raining and went back off when it stopped raining. The AC would stop working after about 20 minutes and would not come back on unless you turned it off for 30 minutes. I got pulled over (no ticket) because the tail lights only had 3 or 4 of the LEDS working of the approx. 15.

FREDERICK FFun effective and efficient place. The truck was beat up and we had to later get a major repair which cost us 5 hours of time!

Donald MYou could not wait until the day before the rental to inform the customer that they have to go to another city to pick up the equipment. The other customer I met while I was picking up my equipment received theirs for half off due to this inconvenience but I did not. I did not receive a dolly or furniture pass at pick up and had to visit two more locations to get them after spending a half hour on the phone with uhaul to resolve this. Overall, I lost half a day of time to load the truck and ended up having to pay for an additional day of rental. Just not happy.

christopher vI understand that this was the first time they were using the U-Haul system. the employees needed to be more trained. More employees were needed to take care of the customers
