The pickup site was good. The business was cold inside and no heat. After the transaction, I realized I had given my personal card by mistake instead of my company card and went immediately back in. He said I could switch cards when I dropped it off. Wrong. My personal card had already been charged when I dropped off the trailer and could not be changed.

More so my complaints are for paying $224 to rent the uhaul that came with 147 miles from the destination I was leaving from to the uhaul place I was suppose to return it to...I feel like that should have been accounted in for being able to take my stuff to where I was moving to and than dropping it off but the miles weren't so at the end of returning it I was charged an extra $60 on top of what I paid in the beginning and having to fill the tank to get it back to the gas it had in it which was $100.00 so my renting of the uhaul and gas to fill it was $385.00. Talk about burning a whole in your pocket.

Nichole T.after hours drop off. The lot could use some cleaning and restriping because I probably dropped the trailer off in not the right spot. I SUCK when it comes to backing up a trailer, so I left it in a convenient spot for me.

harold B.Uhaul told me to pick up the truck in Pendleton but after driving all over Pendleton I finally got told it was 20 miles away ? Picked it up over the phone at close to 5 pm told it was going to be not charged for that day and I would get a extra day when I dropped off the truck in Portland the people gave me a run around and we're rude they wanted to charge me 7 dollars a day and an extra day , just under 3/4 tank they tried to tell me it was 3/4 full I'll think twice before using uhaul again what a pain.

bob C.When I picked up the U-Haul the gentlemen I talked to were very helpful and friendly, but after they gave me the key I went to my U-Haul and it had a quarter tank of gas, the cab and back were filthy, and shortly after I left from picking up the U-Haul the break light came on and after I opened the back I couldn't get the lock to reach The U-Haul ran horribly, it was very loud and sounded like it was on the verge of breaking down. I paid over $900 for it and was very displeased with the state of the U-Haul.

CHRISTOPHER S.5 stars to the owner of Star Car Audio. As for Uhaul, I give you minus 5 stars. When I called to make my reservation for a 26 ft. truck (4 days before I needed it ) I was told Uhaul has a crew of drivers that delivers their fleet between pick up locations and that one of their drivers would have it their in time for me to pick the truck up. I also reserved this truck for 2 days. When I arrived at the pick up location the truck was not there. Uhaul didn't even have the phone number of the delivery driver to find out where or how long he'll be. I called Uhaul of the situation and they didn't know where my truck was. So now, not one person at Uhaul knows where my truck is, not even the manager of fleet, who finally gets on the phone with me. I voiced my frustration to him. He offered me $50.00 credit towards my rental of a 15 ft. truck they had on the lot. When I first started calling 4 days earlier to make a reservation I could of had a 15 ft truck in the town Pendleton, Oregon, where I live and moving just 2 miles down the road, but I choose to drive to Herminston, Oregon, a 30 minute drive, to get what I need. So now I have a 15 ft truck that now I have to pay the extra miles that I could of had in Pendleton , Oregon and now have had to pay the extra miles. So when I said this to the fleet manager he became a smart ass and said he could take back the $50.00 credit. I was left with no choice but to take the 15 ft. ( Which I could have taken in Pendleton, Oregon that would have saved me a lot. I asked the fleet manager about the one in Pendleton but said I can't have it.) The handling of my lost truck, dealing with nobody knowing where the truck was, the inconvenience and having it harder on the people doing the moving and extra time it takes to go back and forth due to the lack of size of truck PLUS dealing with the fleet manager who was a total jerk, I am still upset with Uhaul of a complete mismanagement. Moving is stressful enough as it is, and then to not have a 26 ft truck that you order to have it not there is beyond incomprehensible.

Trevor G.U-haul I will never use this company again! Our experience was terrible. We went into the Chehalis Wa center to see what size of truck we needed and we were advice you get a 20 ft truck . We watched the video so we thought ok this will work ; so we ordered the truck and a car dolly so I wouldn't haven't drive my car. We went back and changed to a car carrier so the cars tires would be up. Two days before our moved someone called and said Chehalis would not have a truck for us or car carrier. I said what!! They said we'd either have to go to Rochester or Onalaska wa to pick up truck and Longbeach to pick up car carrier which is a 150 miles in the wrong direction not to mention the gas for the truck and the car. We had ordered from Chehalis and my husband and I drove to Chehalis to try to clear it up. They tried but nothing close for the car carrier so we agreed to picking up truck in onalaska and car carrier in Herminston Or. upon picking up truck it wasn't ready and took almost a hr for girl to figure out how to scan driver's license. The truck was dirty and the dolly and blankets weren't in it. She called someone to find them. We finally left to go load the truck and sadly I had to leave my antique vanity part of bedroom set and quite a bit of boxes that just wouldn't fit and we packed that truck to to top. We needed a 26. Then Saturday , I drove my car and my husband drove the truck to Herminston Or . to pick up car carrier. The drive was 5 1/2 hrs and alit of gas; we could have driven to twin falls but the place we got the carrier weren't any help (they only took a picture of the truck and carrier hitch . The area they had the carrier was to low and uneven so we have to drive to higher ground to put car on and try to figure out how to attach. My husband got his arm bloodied because he had to crawl under to attach chain. By the time we got car on it was 4pm ; when we got there at 2pm so we stayed at nearby hotel. We finally made it to our destination in Az and my husband was tired and stressed he forgot to put gas in truck. The only thing good and awesome was our movers thru the website!

SEAN L.I have been renting Uhaul trucks for 20yrs, and this location not only provided the worst truck I've ever driven, the owner should remove himself from renting Uhaul equipment to people! He gave us incorrect information at every turn, did absolutely nothing as far as showing us the equipment or the condition it was in, just handed us keys and pointed to the truck, was late to hitch the transport trailer for our car, had no idea how to do it, then did it incorrectly, which could've resulted in serious injuries or possible death. My kid and myself are hauling a 20ft truck with a car hitched to it, and if my buddy that owns a tow company hadn't come down to look at the way the guy had hitched it incorrectly, and fixed everything that was done wrong, because I had a feeling it was being incorrectly, we would've driven off and would have surely ended up in some sort of accident! I am terrified how many people are renting from this location that are being put in danger. Uhaul definitely needs to train the employees here on how to rent solid, reliable equipment, and how to hitch transport trailers safely and correctly, and to give correct information! Absolutely a total let down and Uhaul should be ashamed they have people representing them and renting their equipment that have no idea what that are doing!!

JOHN W.No problem with the Hermiston location. The owner was very friendly and easy to work with. However, the total U-Haul experience for this particular move was not good. First you confirmed my pickup location as Secure Storage in Kennewick which was good. Then you gave my trailer to someone else and told me to pick up at some place in Richland. I contacted them and learned it was for a smaller trailer which would not work for my needs. Then you found me one in Hermiston which was great but the only problem was if I didn't return it to Hermiston then there was an extra $75 charge. I think there should have been an exception made which allowed me to return it to Kennewick since that was my original location agreement.

Kristin H.I arrived five minutes before my 10:00 appointment the first words that was spoke to me is I can't hook you up because I'm the only person here well there wasn't another person there until 11:00 however it didn't matter I had to go to Ace and pick up something U-Haul had installed my hitch and he wanted a different ball on it now that's what I use the last time I used U-Haul so I went to Ace hardware and had everything taken care of however the guy was an idiot I told him when I went in that my driver's license was not valid it had a whole pumped in it and the reason being is I had to get a new one because I wouldn't be home before it was outdated and I gave him my temporary license he got on the phone started telling a guy that I didn't have a picture ID I just told him that I had an ID it just wasn't valid and of course my picture was on it the guy was stupid so I took out my driver's license there was a lot of stuff piled on the counter and I tossed it over on the counter not even within 10 in of him across the junk he told the guy on the phone she just threw her driver's license at me which was a lie so now he's stupid and a liar when he got off the phone he proceede to tell me he respected his elders but he wouldn't put up with me throwing something at him so now he's stupid he's a liar and he's an asshole I stretched my arm out across to show him that I could not reach across to where he was and he told me to get my arm from across the counter now he's a bully so now he is a stupid lying asshole bully.. it definitely was not a pleasure I was a nervous wreck and shaking when I got out of there the door was very hard to open the guy what I took it back said he'd fix that and the bottom was dirty I had to dust all my boxes the bottoms of them my eyes chest and everything that I had set in the dust before I put it in on my rug before I've always had excellent service from you all including them installing my hitch a few years ago..
NELDA T.I would recommend coming to this location to pick up a uhaul. I would also tell them what ever you do, do not use the APP. Choose to have a real person issue the vehicle, the App wasted an hour of our time. The only saving grace was the gentleman helping us inside the shop.

Brenda B.Your application to turn in the trailer would not let me upload the photos required to check in the trailer out of hours. Eventually, somehow the app showed that I turned in the vehicle, even without the photos. Technical support took over an hour to call me back, and when they did, they were blocked as "Potential Spam" by Verizon, so I never got my callback. A very frustrating experience.
