There was a large open break at the top corner of the truck over the drivers side. There was a sticker which shows that they were aware of this damage but they only stuffed a garbage bag in the hole. It took 50 minutes on hold Sunday morning and we still were not able to get the truck picked up on line with my phone even tho I had phoned on Friday and had a worker check and make sure things were set and ready to go. I did part of the check in ahead of time as they suggested.!! They finally sent a worker over to sign the truck out for me. Also the price per km has gone up and now Uhaul is almost not affordable.DEBRA F.

The whole u haul experience was a nightmare!!! We reserved our 26 ft truck 3 weeks in advance to moving date in the cacch bay ontario location one week before u haul called said they did not have a 26 ft for us but had a 20 ft instead and would give us a discount on mileage. ..the day before pick up of the now 20 ft truck we called and the cache bay location said they had no trucks available at this location so we were directed to regional office in Ottawa wich told us we had to now to go to north bay to pi k up a 20 ft truck and had to return it to north bay at our expense with no discount on mileage very disappointment we received during this stressful time with our move....Claudeclaude M.

The trailer tires had radial dry cracking ( should be adressed) , and I got pulled over because the marker lights weren't working even though they checked OK at uhaul when I picked up the trailer. Not charge so much per KM/MI, came to $144.03 for 6 hours use and 54 kms, outrageous, especially since i had to refuel truck $38, so $180 for one day intown use thats INSANETyler H.

Deliver what the customer requested and give plenty of notice if you cannot. We had to drive an hour to get the truck and trailer and wasn't impressed that insurance was added when I specifically requested to waive it. Please contact me for further clarifications. As it stands I would not recommend u haul to anyone as a lot that was initially promised wasn't delivered. Free storage was offered but not close to where we moved, the original contact person had mentioned free 1 month storage or 3 ucubes at no charge but that didn't happen. I was pretty frustrated with the last minute changes but we were in a tough spot with friends helping us so we took what was offered.Paul L.

The guy that came out to help us was fantastic. He was very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. He should get a raise. I was moving from Burlington, to Haileybury. We dropped the truck off at the UHAUL off of Highway 11. It turns out we were supposed to have dropped it off at the other location in North Bay. We would have had to driven through the city with a 26 foot truck which would have been a pain. They allowed us to drop it off at the location off of Highway 11. I am very appreciative for the flexibility.PETER M.

The north bay location did its best to help me. However the overall Uhaul experience was unpleasant with the call centre doing the original booking leads on about the pickup location then the night before our move getting told I had to travel almost 4 hours one direction to get our truck. Not only did it ruin the plans on the moving date it also cost me a lot of money to just get to and from location to get the truck to our home. Definitely will tell people to be very careful about choosing uhaul as a service of choiceNORMANTAIT F.

I rented a 15' truck and then was told it was unavailable and then switched to a 10' and then the night before my move, I get called only to say that they only had 1 10' van and it was down for repairs and I'd have to use a 9' cargo van and no other location in my area had anything available. When I went to pick up my van, there were 3 other large cube vans on the property that didn't leave the entire day. So instead of using a large van and making 1 trip, I had to make 4 trips and get charged more in mileage than I did for the rental. Don't use uhaul.Lisa P.

I rented this vehicle for 2 days and I was glad that I did. I picked up Thurs at 9 am. I encountered a small situation which had me use both days, and my driver turned in the vehicle for me, cleaned and fueled. I got a voice mail message from this office mid afternoon Friday, stating that this truck was now illegal to drive, as I had surpassed my drop-off time, and that another customer was expecting to pick it the next morning. My contract had an expected drop-off time by Saturday, but it was delivered Friday late afternoon. I was confused as to why this office would cut off my 48 hour rental time, by telling me this information.DENIS L.

Generally good service here, however I booked an 8am app based pickup and the van/keys were not in the pickup area. Had to sit there and wait till staff arrived to open at 9. Van was fine other than basically empty windshield washer fluid and very dirty bug smeared windshield. Should have been cleaned.Tim K.

Only problem was the communication. It would be good to get a confirmation from the site as well that the order is good for pick up. Ensure that the items online are the items available, I rented a large trailer that said was available, I did the online check it to avoid having to wait around for paper work. When I got there?l, they didn't have trailer that I was rented. And had to re-rent a smaller one. Which took approx 30 mins. The guy had to drive down to the women on parking lot to check stock- I recommend they get walkie talkies DisappointedMichael W.
