The attendant at this location was absolutely stellar - fantastic customer service!
CHRISTOPHER HArrived after hours and the next day was charged $14 fuel charge, despite adding recommended volume of unleaded fuel to the tank to achieve half. Very disappointed. I will not be recommending uHaul and find your prices inaccessible: $2700 for a three day rental to drive 500km within Ontario.
tara uAll good Truck was clean and in good running order. Put about 570miles on it with no issues. Only wish it was a little cheaper for long term rentals.

NOLAN MTrying to rent a car dolly from that location. Later got a message to go somewhere else to pick up dolly when there was one available at this location. Had to phone Uhaul office to let take the dolly from this location. The left light (digital) was missing about half the LEDs. And the opposite side fender was missing the 3 bolts holding the fender in place. Also the lighting wire was a bit damage because of the looseness of the fender. We installed 3 bolts with nuts and washers and wrapped the wire with electrical tape to minimize more damage. When we arrived at our destination, 2 bolts have gotten lost.
JOCELYN Bvehicle was not cleaned it had sticky stuff in the cup holders and something splashed all over the side back wall in the truck. Truck was never cleaned at all.

CHRISTINA PThe first truck I received was dirty inside and out. I asked for another truck and the cab hadnt been cleaned and we had to sweep the inside before I could move my furniture inside. The staff is very pleasant but the trucks need to be cleaned in between customers. Its was gross

ANDRE LI wish UHaul would have a 12' trailer at this location. this is a couple times now I have went to rent a 12' trailer and none in town, a side from that I am impressed with the this location and its friendly staff.
RICHARD SMake shure there is engine oil in the engine . My pick up was in Sturgeon Falls . The day before they text me saying my truck wasn't available in sturgeon falls but to pick up in Nort Bay. . Had 70 kmon my travel and I had to pay extra

David GUpon returning my trailer to the location at 2:10 pm a note was on the door saying "I'm taking a break. Be back at 2:30 pm". I waited until 2:45 and they did not return. Poor customer service during posted business hours.

ALEJANDRO ETo me the initial young man I dealth with was very good to speak to and setup my storage unit. However it was no heat, no lighting had to purchase thong onsite, that were high in price. Merry Christmas! I'm sorry but I moved all belongings out on the 9th of Dec. As it was my first time to rent a storage unit I thought you guys would have seen me there with a 20' truck that day. Anyhow thank you but I'm not impressed! Alot of my stuff was full of MOUSE POOP, CHEWED AND MOLDY. So you should reimburse me at least one months charge in my eyes. You sent me IOU letters, I rented April 9th 2024 left your facility Dec. 9th 2024, I was NOT 5 days passed due. For the RECORD!
DARLENE C | Overall ExperienceWhen we picked up the truck, we were told that if we went over the kilometers but had more gas in truck when returned, that they would adjust the kilometers to suit so that we won't be over charged. But when we dropped the truck off yesterday, we were about 1/4 tank over then when we received the truck and over the allotted kilometers. A different employee at drop off, never adjusted for the extra gas we put in and charged us full price on our kilometers. We over paid for this rental and I'm too tired due to this move to argue. You win u-haul.
DLIANA LThe gentleman kept telling me that I had to bring back the uhaul the next day. I kept having to repeat that I had the uhaul for two days because i took the discount to return the uhaul. The gentlman said he would be right back as he had to get the mileage. I said that dont i have to join him because we have to check the vehicle together he said no he would be right back. The uhaul was at the bottom yard and when I started the vehicle it was not at 1/4 of a tank like he stated so i drove the truck to the top where the office was and he gave me a discount of $20. When I returned the truck next day but in the late evening and I received the bill the discount was not applied to my bill. I definitely would not recommend this uhaul company but the gentleman did state that it was closing down as Uhaul sold the property.
PAULINE VTrailer needed to be swept out but the U-Haul agent did this with no issues. I had a good experience.
JEFF MThe trailer smelled like a barn and there was a literal lump of poop in it when I picked it up. It's obvious it wasn't checked or cleaned in between customers.

KENNETH HMake sure that the vehicle does not have warning lights on. Also make it clear if you are charging by per mile or per kilometer and this should be compatible with the distance indicator in the vehicle I.e., kilometers or miles. Also you should be able to rent a vehicle for a flat rate for a certain length of time!

WILLIAM Lit was an after hours drop off so we didnt see anyone. extremely dark onsite, near impossible to see from he road and no instructions posted on where to put he truck. most are n/a not no’s.

KIMBERLY LI was very frustrated trying to check in my rental upon return. I was given a video to show me what steps to follow, what photos to take, and what to upload to the app. I had to download the app, set up an account, and then still couldn't get anything to work. At no point could I upload photos or comment, so I finally gave up. The good news is ... once I followed up with a phone call the next day, I was able to confirm the rental had been received and I was sent my updated invoice.

Barry SHad storage long term. Kept increasing the storage fee. Unit was wet, and full of mice. Had to keep cleaning dead mice and their droppings. I would not recommend this storage facility to anyone. I lost a lot of items because of rain and mice damage. I know this will not show on reviews.

Some issues with the ice buildup under the door making it difficult to open, but the staff would clean and salt when I asked, so the door could be opened. No issues with the unit itself, was clean and dry.

I'm currently homeless with my household belongings in a truck ATM and barely came up with the 85$ that the storage was listed as on the website. There is no other U-Haul in North Bay, is there any way I can waive the deposit fee until the next month?
