After doing on line check in I had to stand in the store and essentially do the whole process over again with the store owner! Also, why is there not a trailer jack on these units. If you think it is a theft deterrent, it is not. I am 70 years old and was able to lift the trailer hitch onto my vehicle myself. Not easy, but why? So I doubt it would deter younger thieves at all. However, after loading the trailer I had to go through an elaborate jack procedure with my own jack. It was elaborate due to the height limit of my jack and the vehicle height difference. The other deficency in the trailer is a lack of E-track. The flimsy corner tie downs are useless as is the rail for rope or whatever you would be able to pass through the small opening. You would need to be quite good at rigging to accomplish any securing of a load in addition to the right size rope so it can pass through the trailer rails! E-Track and straps is an industry standard for freight or cargo. Great personnel at this site.

The agent used an old phone with a cracked screen to attempt to sign me in. He had to call someone else to finalize. I tried to choose a drop off location and the phone did not accept. Then he just gave me the phone to check out a convenience store customer. The windshield was cracked. Seats and floor were dirty. Clock did not work properly. Ignition was tricky to use.

Gentlemen behind the counter needed more training. I had to wait an hour and 15 minutes to pick up a vehicle. Finally, he called someone from U-Haul and got it done.
