UHaul online app promises me a 9x12 enclosed trailer at this location. Then while I was on hold at 1:48pm Saturday, May 1, t dress me to advise me my trailer was now available about an hour away. Not acceptable. Fortunately I spied a truck at my current location that had just been returned and asked to rent it. Points to UHaul for renting it to me but it cost me about $120 more plus cost of fuel. And you charged me $.99/mile instead of the $.79/mile advertised for Sunday use. Plus, of course, the truck had not been cleaned and smelled strongly of stale tobacco. Not a pleasant experience. No wonder my friend who owns a large rental space said she rather not rep UHaul.THOMAS C.

Not order pizza and take a dump while helping customers, then maybe some help hooking up the trailer would be nice - large oil and gas stain that I had to scrub before loading was a nice touch though oh yeah, had to duct tape the latch down even with a lock on it while drivingDavid R.

Truck ran ok, but the power steering pump had a pretty loud whining noise, and the rear brakes squealed. NOTE: i did forget to mention these items when I turned the truck back in. Also I've noticed that the last two or three times i have used all of the early check in tools (scanning your driver's license, doing the precheck in) it hasn't made any difference when i go to pick up the equipment - they have to redo all of that at the pick up location anyway.STEPHEN S.

When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, the door to the office was locked, and no one was there. I walked around until I found someone to ask and was told that someone would be there soon. I was then told to go back and hook up my rental motorcycle trailer myself, and to bring it back so they could inspect it. The trailer only had one working tail light, and they "jiggled" the other wire until the light came blinked back on. During my trip, the bad light went out completely, and the working light's plug fell out and went out too. I had to stop on the shoulder and plug it back in. The safety chains on the trailer were ridiculously long, dragging the ground, and I had to stop and try and shorten them on the side of the road. The ramp to the motorcycle trailer was seriously caved in, causing my bike to scrape the trailer when I attempted to load it. When I returned the trailer, I was told to put it back where I got it from and come back to the office. I informed them of the problems and they said they would have to "take a look at it". I asked for my receipt showing I had returned it on time, and they said they had checked me in and I didn't get a printed receipt. I later received on via email. Trailer had a rusted rim that had been painted over previously. Had to stop several time to get air which was frustrating considering it took several attempts pulling over each time to find a place that had air or a machine that worked. Stor it 4 less was great to deal with and im not sure they even knew about it. my perception it is uhaul.LEVI G.
The person working the desk was not welcoming and didn't seem to want to be bothered. I was told to find a spot next to any trailer on the lot drop it off and I'm good to go. I will not be using this location again.sheltric P.
We were only customer there, had to go find employee to take care of us. He acted as if we were inconvenience to him. After we paid, he directed us to back truck to trailer and he would come help. Nothing further to say in re: Pick-up & Drop-off sites. But, in re: Uhaul CS & Dispatch (schedule & tracking) sites, the CS was less than poor, I'll try to avoid UHaulâ€”- future! This is why: W/assistance of attendant, I returned the 5x8 trlr during regular hours 2-days early, no troubleâ€”-all okay! 3-days later received e-mail that I was past the return deadline. Nobody knew where the trailer wasâ€”after many hours, ph-calls & online hrs (& much stress) Uhaul found the trailer. IT WAS AWFUL!DONALD M.

When you rent a trailer a spare tire should be part of the package. The person representing Storage 4 less, when asked about adding a spare tire, stated that flats on trailers is very rare. Therefore no spare was available. I will have one on my next rental even if I have to go and buy on. It cost me 3 1/2 hours of down time.george L.

In general, the guy came off as generally a good person, but the things I did not like include: (1) While I did show up 30 min late to pick up my truck (from the scheduled pick up), there was no one onsite because only one person works there and he was on a lunch break, so I had to come 40 minutes later to actually pick up the truck. (2) When I went back to pick the auto trailer, while he did hitch it up, he did not instruct, help, or walk me through loading my car until he came up to me after 30 minutes of trying on my own to explain. (3) He forgot to include the dolly inside the truck, so I did not have one to load my items with.GARRICK P.

Have the equipment ready. Be open at the correct time. Don't curse at the computer in front of the customer. Act like you want to be there. Provide adequate a/c to the office. Don't be rude to the customer because you forgot to give them the code to the gate. Be presentable... looking like you just finished rebuilding a transmission at 9am is a bad look. Don't tell the customer â€œyou must have done something wrongâ€ when they completed the online ID uplink correctly, but the website isn't working. Uhaul's online experience is shit at best....Jeffrey P.

Make sure your equipment (trailers) are properly maintained and in safe working condition. Had I not been insisted about the tail lights on the trailer they attached to the truck, I would have once again make a 21 hour trip with no tail lights again, which is highly dangerous. So they ended up switching the trails out but they didn't take the previous reservation name off, so they did not want to remove the trailer in Las Vegas because it had another person's name on the reservation. We were held up for almost 3 hours, putting us behind schedule.Rosie J.

The guy with the long hair saved the day. We had gone to a different Uhaul location on Thompson Rd in Rosenburg Tx n they were no help even though we had a reservation. This other guy at the Minonite Rd location saved the day. 10 stars if I could give him.BERTHA J.
Rude had to wait and watch him eat his breakfast. Talking to me with a mouth of food. Another customer came in he asked what he needed and the customer said a storage unit. So after he printed the contract I signed it. And than he told me to wait in my truck that he had to wait on the other customer the contract was printed at 11:09 am. I seen the other cust leave after sitting in my truck for another 10 minutes I went to the front door and he lock himself inside of the building. I went back and sat in my truck for 10 more minutes he finally came out on the phone he stopped and blew his nose using his fingers to hold on nostril and blew snot on the ground and repeated to do the same on the other side of his nose and than wiped his left hand on his pants. Really with the virus we have going on. My wife was sick to her stomach he finally dragged the pull dolly up by the safety chain with the tongue of the trailer digging into the muddy ground the dolly light plug it was all muddy Had to clean to plug it in. Than he pulled the wrong tow dolly up and told me to just take it I refused and wanted him to change the paperwork. I followed him into the office he had to call someone to tell him what to do he could not print out another contract. Who ever he was talking to on the phone said he would email me the correct contract and he did. So after a hour and 17 minutes I was able to leave. I had to watch a YouTube video when I got home because he did not show me how to use it. When he called to get my contract properly filled out with the correct information he told the person I just did the contract 10 minutes ago witch was not true it was over a hour ago. If the person who sent me the email would look at the time he sent it and the time the original contract was printed he'll see that the statement about 10 minutes was not correct. The location is great the trailer they use for a office is very nasty dirty smelled like mildew and he never did wash his snotty hands. Very bad experience. Oh I did reserve the tow dolly ahead of time thought that would save me some time boy was I wrong. Location needs customer service and have better personal hygiene.
