This place is a DUMP! The only positive thing to mention is Mike was helpful and gracious as well as frustrated with the sad and unsatisfactory environment in which he is asked to work. The small lot is overwhelmed with UHaul inventory. The only way to negotiate the mud bogg was in 4 wheel drive. We finally found a narrow opening to back the unit into. Once unhooked I watched it sink into ankle deep mud. Again, the only way exit this embarrassing business was in 4 wheel drive. Your question is: what can you do to improve got the next customer? 1. Fire the owner. 2. Pave to lot. 3. Install adequate drainage. 4. Give Mike a sanitary and safe place to work â€¦ and pay him well. Nobody deserves to work in a ducking fump like this. 5. My experience at this UHaul location was excellent. The 2 guys working the office were professional and pleasant. They explained everything and answered any questions I had. I had a great customer service experience which is what I always look for when I spend money in a business. Good job guys. Customer service was great, but the office which is a trailer needs cleaning and is germy. They need to cleans disenfect the internet and door, anything we touch including pens and the iPad after every use. The window AC BARELY WORKS AND THIS IS TEXAS IN THE MIDDLE OF SIMMERNORMA LINDA G.
The location where trucks was stored was a muddy holes. The truck smelt like cigarettes. I had to use it with windows down. The person that help me was friendly.JOSE V.

When I return the U-Haul, I have set up at the location call summer lake self storage, but when I dropped off at that location, owner told me they do not have any drop off show on system, and she keep telling me I will be charged a transfer fee if I did not drop off at location system shown, so I have to call customer service and I got transferred 5 times, FIVE times, waste 35 minutes till I got a lady help me set up my location to stor it 4 less. However, when I drop off at stor it 4 less, one man came to help me finish whole return process cause the U-Haul website is not friendly for cell phone user. Overall, I will not recommend U-Haul to any of my friend cause the whole system has long way to get improvement.Kevin C.

Very poor level of service by the attendant. - went to "lunch" for over an hour leaving me to wait even after calling him, it took another hour to find paperwork and assign a truck, and "required" payment of $50 cash tip in order to hook up the flatbed for the car. Really shameful to be taken advantage of.KEVIN C.

The photos of the equipment sent to us from the walk around inspection was not of the actual equipment picked up and used. We took our own pictures for future reference in case anything comes back that damage may have been done. The equipment numbers may have been correct, but clearly the plate on the equipment was different. The pictures were not taken the day of pickup. The person at this location has ZERO customer service knowledge. When my original reservation fell through due to faulty wiring, I called to see if they had a trailer. The gentleman said he was checking in equipment and asked to call back in 30 minutes. After going to and calling 3 other dealers, I drove to this location. The door was locked. It was 9:23. They open at 9. I callled again and got the same answer, call back. I stated I was in the parking lot. He said hold on. I then saw a young lady get dropped off. She was office help. The door was unlocked and I followed her in the office. The man behind the desk was busy checking in keys that had been dropped off. His attitude and demeanor was very negative. I asked about a 5 x 8 trailer I needed to rent. He asked what's my phone number. I have it to him. He said he just sent me a link to capture my drivers license. After I entered my info, he asked how many days. I said it was going to be dropped off today in Plano. He got very agitated. He was mad and said we now have to start all over because that is a whole different process. We repeated the process getting interrupted twice with people calling about uhaul questions. He have them both the same story he gave me, he was busy checking in equipment and call back in 30 minutes. Very very disappointed in having to deal with a rude person. He complained to the young lady who was sweeping up the office and organizing. She took the keys and checked in the equipment. She was very polite and courteous. She actually help me get my trailer. First my email said he opened at 8:30. Wrong. He opens at 9. I waited half hour. Next he is quite crude. Several times, he cleared his throat and spit into a wastebasket! On my return, three hours later, the door was locked. I pounded on the door and the siding of his trailer. When he came after several minutes, he questioned my I had knocked. He said he was just ,"taking a sh--!!" I would certainly not return to this U-Haul again. NEVER!! And, he added another charge to my bill and I did not know until I viewed it on my email!!WILLIAM T.
Get better customer service at this particular location. It not a good representation of the brand. The person working was not helpful at all. After having difficulties with online tried to call back to get assistance locally and was told "We're closed I already did what I could for you!" I was getting soaking wet from the rain and couldn't get my truck key out the box. Overall just a horrible experience.Mandre Z.

UHaul online app promises me a 9x12 enclosed trailer at this location. Then while I was on hold at 1:48pm Saturday, May 1, t dress me to advise me my trailer was now available about an hour away. Not acceptable. Fortunately I spied a truck at my current location that had just been returned and asked to rent it. Points to UHaul for renting it to me but it cost me about $120 more plus cost of fuel. And you charged me $.99/mile instead of the $.79/mile advertised for Sunday use. Plus, of course, the truck had not been cleaned and smelled strongly of stale tobacco. Not a pleasant experience. No wonder my friend who owns a large rental space said she rather not rep UHaul.THOMAS C.

Not order pizza and take a dump while helping customers, then maybe some help hooking up the trailer would be nice - large oil and gas stain that I had to scrub before loading was a nice touch though oh yeah, had to duct tape the latch down even with a lock on it while drivingDavid R.

Truck ran ok, but the power steering pump had a pretty loud whining noise, and the rear brakes squealed. NOTE: i did forget to mention these items when I turned the truck back in. Also I've noticed that the last two or three times i have used all of the early check in tools (scanning your driver's license, doing the precheck in) it hasn't made any difference when i go to pick up the equipment - they have to redo all of that at the pick up location anyway.STEPHEN S.

When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, the door to the office was locked, and no one was there. I walked around until I found someone to ask and was told that someone would be there soon. I was then told to go back and hook up my rental motorcycle trailer myself, and to bring it back so they could inspect it. The trailer only had one working tail light, and they "jiggled" the other wire until the light came blinked back on. During my trip, the bad light went out completely, and the working light's plug fell out and went out too. I had to stop on the shoulder and plug it back in. The safety chains on the trailer were ridiculously long, dragging the ground, and I had to stop and try and shorten them on the side of the road. The ramp to the motorcycle trailer was seriously caved in, causing my bike to scrape the trailer when I attempted to load it. When I returned the trailer, I was told to put it back where I got it from and come back to the office. I informed them of the problems and they said they would have to "take a look at it". I asked for my receipt showing I had returned it on time, and they said they had checked me in and I didn't get a printed receipt. I later received on via email. I won't be going back to that location again.Thomas W.

Trailer had a rusted rim that had been painted over previously. Had to stop several time to get air which was frustrating considering it took several attempts pulling over each time to find a place that had air or a machine that worked. Stor it 4 less was great to deal with and im not sure they even knew about it. my perception it is uhaul.LEVI G.

We were only customer there, had to go find employee to take care of us. He acted as if we were inconvenience to him. After we paid, he directed us to back truck to trailer and he would come help. He stopped to tinker on his motorcycle for a good 6-8 mins while we waited on him. Then he kept looking at my husband to hook up the trailer. Just very unprofessionalKevin H.
