The young man stated he new nothing about u haul rentals and insisted that I download the app to rent the vehicle. I said would if I did not have a phone? Then he said I could call and talk to u haul regarding the GPS problem with my phone. I ended up leaving and coming back later to pick up the truck. During that time I tried to call U-Haul only to have a 25 minute wait time. Gee that's a surprise. Went back to rental location and young man called U-Haul and got ahold of someone inside of 2 minutes. Gee why couldn't he just do that the first time. No customer service at all. No willingness to try and be helpful the first time. He was just worried about the next customer not being able to rent the truck on Sunday when they were closed. He was worried about me being charged 40 dollars instead of just getting on the computer and taking care of the order. He was useless and shame on U-Haul for allowing this to happen. If your customer service wait time is over 25 minutes then you have customer service and product issues that need attention I will not use U-Haul again or recommend them. I hope to hear from someone soon but I will not be surprised if I don'tNeil W.

we are thankful that U-haul had a truck that we could use, but I would make this suggestion: your trucks need a running board or a step of some kind, it was not easy to climb in and out of the cab. Not everyone who rents a truck from you is over 6 feet tall.KATHLEEN R.

I was very disappointed when I went to return the truck. When I picked up the truck the man working there told me the tank was on full and to return it the same. I went to the gas station to top it off and before realizing it put in 6 gallons of gas. I only drove 9 miles so obviously it was not a full tank when I picked it up. I mentioned this to the man behind the counter and it was very obvious that he didn't care as he basically just dismissed my comment. I will not use this facility again.LARRY H.

This office here on Avest Ln. is really the best stor it in the treasure valley. They do whatever they can to help the customer achieve their goal. However, the main office people need some customer service training. They are rude and could care less about the customers needs and wants.ART M.

Over priced for 24 hours. The first place I had to go to didn't have the key in the lock box. I told the agent on the phone. They still charged me for that. Even though I didnt get the uhaul there. Had to go to a different place and ordered a bigger truck and gave me a small one. Not impressed and will never us uhaul again.Jade H.

The gas charges are ridiculous. Every single time. The trucks do not have electronic gauges yet the bill shows the PRECISE gas level. I gassed up the rental and was still charged. Either modernize your fleet of rentals or ease up on the precision of your gas measurements.ryan B.

We arrived at 8:55am as the facility opened at 9am. I called the number at 9:13am, as no on still had not arrived to open the store even though the sign said they were open. I then called the Uhaul number I had in my telephone listed at 9:23am and they indicated someone had turned the phones on but there was still no one there. At 9:25am a young man raced in a car stopping quickly, jumping out and ran to the door and opened it then said he had set 4 alarm clocks and none of them had gone off. When this man filled out the paperwork he changed the time to 9:15 and I was not pleased as it caused us to be late as by now it was well past 9:30. Due to us being late it has caused us to miss our deadline and now we are being forced to rent a uhaul again on Monday at another facility as this facility did not have this truck available. Another note. When we arrived back on Saturday morning the young man was not there and we waited for 10-15 minutes. Another older man opened the office. He was not very pleasant to us. He stated there should have been a person to open the office for us or we could have just dropped off the keys. I told him due to the delay in getting the truck the day before we are being forced to rearrange our schedule as we had missed our deadline and would have to deliver now on Monday. He did not offer an apology or anything. This was by far the worst customer service we have received in a very long time. This Uhaul office is very close to our home and we like to use it however we will be using another one in the future. To say the least, we are not pleased.Kayleen C.
