We rented a 6x12 cargo trailer from the U-Haul dealer, Storage By The Sea II, in Brunswick. Our check in went smoothly. Although we didn't have the smaller ball for our trailer hitch, the representative was very accommodating, while we went to purchase the correct size. I recommend anyone who needs to rent a trailer or truck from U-Haul to use Storage By The Sea II. Their staff are friendly and personal. Both being important qualities we like to see in businesses.Tammy C.
Everything was great beside the truck was way to big for my needs, it is not locations fault, it is UHAUL itself, rental services can be run, I had to spend more money on gas due to wanting a 10 to 15 foot then ended with a 26 ft plus I had to pull my car. These locations do the best with what they got! but UHAUL called me 3 times to tell me that I have one, I don't have one, I have one maybe not the same then told that it is confirmed that I have a vehicle but wanted me to drive hours away to get it. AGAIN i express that the facility staff were very helpful, UHAUL company itself was a horrible experienceJO-ANTHONY T.

Made original reservation online for a small truck. Received confirmation and the morning of my move received text stating that truck was one hour away from our hometown. Original reservation confirmation stated Brunswick. Had to call the Ludowici store to cancel reservation, and spoke with the most helpful UHaul employee ever. She searched for a truck in Brunswick for me, but did not have any luck. I had to log in and make a reservation for a trailer to replace the truck. When we got to the Uhaul location to pick up the trailer, they had one person working. Had to wait a long time to get waited on. Then we had to pretty much go thru the whole application process again. Once everything was signed I was given a number to go find in a parking lot full of trailers. In my opinion, the clerk should have walked outside with us and helped us at least locate the trailer. We were instructed to drive up to the store and honk the horn when finished since he had to inspect. Very poor customer service.Nicole B.

My storage unit was broken into this week, found out the gate that was suppose to be secure had been broken for almost 2 months now. Several units were broken into and it floods which I was not told that until after it flooded the first time & should have been told because they were well aware that it happens when we have a lot of rain (that came out of one of the employees mouth himself when I came to them after it flooded). Absolutely do NOT use this storage facility (at leaat not the non climate controlled part(. MAJOR FLOODING ISSUES!!! Over 12 inches of water in my unit completely ruining everything. The water was so high it knocked over my lighter storage totes ans broke irreplaceable family Christmas decor. They never warned or even disclosed of any flooding issues. The manager named Georgia said that the owner was well aware of the flooding issue - not a new issue and he blamed the county for not cleaning the ditch out near units. She said that he received ans $11,000 bill for it one time and that is why he did not have it cleaned (seems a little outrageous to me and a good blame game). They did nothing but offer 1 month free rent for over $8,000 in items lost and irreplaceable/priceless family items being broken due to their negligence and improper business managing. Not to mention the day I got back in town to check on my unit it was raining and water was gathering heavily again in front of 3224 and the neighboring units.Brittany S. | Overall Experience

No one to help lift off the trailer. Pretty heavy for one person to do. If hiring a person to do that isn't cost effective maybe they could provide a jack so anyone could remove the trailer.Brad B.

Had to wait a long time for my keys because the attendant was complaining about the Uhaul app on his phone was too slow. They would not modify my contract terms as I was promised and just told to call Uhaul. Not helpful. Truck was filthy and required cleaning inside plus Windows and mirrorsANGUS C.

I would not recommend uhaul at all. I would suggest they get whatever they need from somewhere else. The only thing that was good about my experience with uhaul was the kindness that I received from the lady at the counter at Storage by the seaDAWN H.

This was not the location I had a truck confirmed for. Once I showed up to pick up truck for my time, it was not at original location. They did not have one ready for me. Instead they sent me down the street to the location above & gave me another sized truck , after a wait. Disappointed in not having my confirmed truck ready when arrived, let alone on property. I asked numerous times if there was a military discount, unlimited mileage anyting for a veteran. Was told no, only to return the uhaul to Ohio for them to say they offer a discount and unlimited mileage and that they know usaa covers the uhual so we did not need to pay for the insurancethomas D.

These people didn't want the drop off but I was turned away from all other drop off places. U-Haul should allow more than one drop off points without threatening charges. Cell phones don't always work to contact you in these cases. It worked out with a phone call next day with your customer service person.Arthur M.

I did not receive the trailer I reserved. And there were no trailers at the location I was expecting to pick it up. I had to go to another location and didn't get the one reserved. Plus the 1 800 rep was rude and didn't help at all. I was put on hold for over 15 minutes and then the called was disconnected. Will not rent for Uhaul again. Horrible!Eric H.
We were given a location of Sherre Uhaul in Brunswick, Ga. This was my second experience with the lady that runs it. We were instructed to drop off at her location. She had an open sign out but was gone with people waiting. We tried to call with no answer. We parked the trailer and were about to disconnect it when she drove up and got mad at us and said we couldn't leave it. We called Uhaul alone and made the drop off at Storage by the Sea.
