It was self service pickup, which was fine, except the trailer was frozen to the ground. And then I figured out the running lights didn't work later that night, so I was late returning it the next daybecause I didn't want to drive late at night with no running lights. So I was charged for an extra day.

Brian LIt cost me much more to rent a trailer than it should have. I needed a trailer and Baudette, Warroad, and Roseau UHAUL were all out so we had to drive 80 miles away to rent a trailer. It was also so expensive to drop it off in Baudette we had to drive back to Internatioinal Falls, MN. When local places have no trailers going so far out of our way should have been easier. The ifalls uhaul was very helpful and we were very happy with their customer service.

Rodger N | Overall ExperienceBoth people at The Storage Depot worked hard at getting me another trailer when the one I reserved was rented out and the location was changed. It is not fair to the customer or to the places where you make a reservation for U-Haul to change the location pick up. It makes it difficult for the business to have upset customers calling them and trying to figure out something when you have made reservations weeks in advance. If you don't check email often then you get an unpleasant surprise that your equipment you are renting is not at the location you requested. I hope you figure out a way that this not happen in the future. I have always had a good experience renting from U-Haul in the past. I hope if I need to rent something in future that this type of situation will not happen again.

Ryan H | Overall ExperienceThe only interaction I received with the staff was over the phone. I had to hook up the equipment, myself. Halfway home, the trailer came off of my receiver and the trailer tounge ran under the back of my car. I managed to hobble it over to a friend's shop, where they had to use a pipe wrench to tighten it down all the way. By that time, it was too late to add insurance to my rental, after calling to explain the situation to the clerk at the U-Haul office.

Louise VAwful experience with uhaul. They did not have a truck available in Grand Forks even though I booked it two months prior. They called me the afternoon before saying there was no truck which gave me no time to find alternative plans. Eventually I had to settle for driving 8 hours round trip to International falls to pick up a truck. For which we were not reimbursed for gas or travel time to get the truck. One of the most tedious and awful experiences I have ever had. I will not be using uhaul again.
