I was stuck outside in the pouring rain for an hour and a half. They put the wrong key in the lock box I had to wait on hold with customer service for a half an hour. Then once I got a hold of customer service and they gave me the correct key there was a padlock on the back of the truck and there was no key for it. I got into the car to check for a key and the only thing I found were cockroaches. I had to then wait till the next day to be able to get a different truck that I could use. Which wouldn't have been so bad if I didn't have to take an Uber to and from the U-Haul and hire a babysitter it was very inconvenient and an overall bad experience. They did try and make it up to me by giving me a free day on the U-Haul but it'll still leave a bad memory of Uhaul!Jade L.
The guy was rude and can you all do bettrr with the price. I was charged $154.00 for 8 hrs not even a day. Thats a little to ridiculousCarmen P.
The gentleman at the counter was great. The place was very old and needed some TLC. The truck tho, crap, that thing broke down on me backing up twice. If you pushed the accelerator the a/c wouldn't blow through the cabin. The only way for it to work correctly was for you to slow down to about 40. The truck needs to be taken out to pasture, it's well past it's prime.Jason B.

Equipment was clean but the truck had a leak when it rained really hard some of our boxes in the mother's attic got wet. I'm hoping nothing got damaged as I'm still in the process of moving and opening stuff. Other than that the experience was good. This place was disgusting along with the people that work here. I pulled up to drop off the trailer with my vehicle on it and was told by one of the male workers I had to do it myself. I had to get on the ground and try to figure out how to do all this myself. I managed to get one side done but the other strap seemed to be jammed...still no help...It wasn't until I called the 1800 number that someone came with wd40 and unlatched it. The manager onsite approached me and she has no idea what customer service skills means along with her attitude talking over me, no wonder she has a team under her with the same poor work skills and professionalism. I only chose this place because it was the closest do yourselves a favor and pick another location and save yourself the headache of having to deal with rude people, a run down place, I also had to park my vehicle across the street and cross over a main street with a leg injury when there was a spot on the location. First off, people were friendly and service was quick. The associate who hooked up my trailer forgot to tighten the hitch mount. I had a major screwup from U-haul representatives, but Store 66 staff fixed it. The new U-haul rep called me instead of the store, I had my reservation scheduled way in advanced, but 12 hours before picking it up, my store pickup was changed by this person more than 3 times, unnecessarily. My preferred location (Store 66) HAD my truck, but the Rep thought something was wrong so changed it to a further location. Then when Store 66 fixed it, the Rep thought it was a mistake and changed my reservation again. So the morning of my move across states, I was at Store 66, couldn't do self checkin because the store was screwed up and I was stuck in a time crunch. LUCKILY the staff from Store 66 went WAY above and beyond in helping me. Someone was there way before the store opened expecting me. Made a few calls, and ultimately circumvented the screw up so that I could be on my way with a truck, which was the goal. Highly recommend the Store 66 location. I personally wished the U-haul representatives wouldn't have gotten involved and I'm extremely disappointed for the last minute stress and anxiety they caused. Wished they could have done better to fix it, but local staff made sure I could stay to my schedule and that's all that I could have asked for.Danny C.

In these stores you call to find out about the reservation and they leave you waiting, they never answer your requirements, before delivering the vehicle they must deliver it with a person so that it can be inspected, unfortunately, I took the paper where it said the conditions of the vehicle, supposedly the fuel it was full and it wasn't like that. I had to deliver it full also for trusting and not verifying before. customer support is extremely bad.MARIA C.

Truck had a check engine light on that I was not made aware of, asked for mobile check in and still had to go inside, both men attention the counter were extremely rude and dismissive, brought the truck back and same rude man from check in flagged me down to tell me I was doing a terrible job parking, lady at check out was very sweet and I wish I would have dealt with her.Linda G.
