I'm assuming it's not the pickup location's fault so I'll be frank: The truck is a piece of shit. We had to replace a drag link and a spark plug coil before we could leave. The door seal leaked and I drove from New York to Idaho with earplugs in. I had to add a gallon of oil on my trip to keep the dip stick above the fill line. We had a brake electronic fault during the trip. The engine misfired on hills. Terrible truck. How did I get this for a cross-country?PETERHUDSON H.

Poor cell service there and requirements of a site without staff made it challenging to upload the necessary photos. Also a hard copy of steps with screen shots would be helpful because u tube would not load.Rich B.

My U-box was delivered about 40 miles away from where it was supposed to be delivered, without any notification to me. That cost me a lot of time and gas money to access my stuff. Having the box delivered to my home was not an option due to logistics of my home. U-haul never let me know about the change in delivery location and I only found out about it when the location manager called me. The people at this location were very courteous and accommodating, and I'd happily recommend them to others looking for services in that area. However, the overall U-haul U-box delivery experience was very disappointing and cost me more money and time than it should have. I'd have second thoughts about using this service again or recommending it to others.STEVE A.

My only issue is that my phone app didn't work in the area. I use At&T. I have had this happen in other places as well. It seems that this is a problem that U haul should be dealing with, or informing customers that it might be a problem.....Timothy W.
all staff were very helpful and pleasant it was safest way to move our goods, Had planned to two a 5 x 8 closed trauler from U-hual but that ould have been inconvenient and made us less safe in the interstates driving at a much slower pace than the very fast cars and trucks, We were able to relax on our 2000 mile drive to Denver, Many thanks to one and all. I can't recommend Store It All highly enough - they saved us from what would have been a disastrous situation. That being said, U-Haul caused and perpetuated said situation, and I will never EVER use the company ever again and will tell everyone who will listen what an awful experience this has been. Again, Store It All is amazing. U-Haul, never again. Just terrible.Sarah H.
My review has to do with the Litchfield park location where my u-box's where dropped off. After this experience I wouldn't recommend u-box's or this location. The boxes arrived after closing hours of the expected arrival date therefor they where late due to me not being able to access them. Then the next day when I went to access my boxes they processed to them tell me I needed to give them 24 hr notice which I was not told before. Then I went over there to make the payment for my boxes later that night and the person they had working the counter asked me to please call tomorrow to make the payment because he didn't know how to take a payment in store. Then when I was finally able to get in my u-boxes the next day I show up to the store and my boxes have still not been pulled so I was asked to come back later. Mind you not it's been almost 3 days and I still haven't been able to access my stuff. I show back up to the store later that afternoon the lock is broke off one of my boxes and the boxes where still screwed shut so I had to go back and forth to the front office twice from the back of the warehouse first time for bolt cutters and the next time for a screw driver because no one was back by the warehouse to help me. Needless to say I am not happy at all and would like to be contacted by someone from u-haul to make things right with me. If not I will not be recommending or using u-haul ever again. Thank a very pissed off customer!! P.S. this review does not reflect the Coxsackie NY location where we got the boxes from. They where great with excellent service.Ryan C.

I would highly recommend the people in South Carolina but I would not recommend the gentleman in New York his equipment was all broken and hard to deal withPATTY S.
Ed and Kristi are very helpful and friendly, available any time I needed them for questions and information. Location is great, easy to find, plenty of room for parking and maneuvering the truck. Ed got the trailer set on my son's truck, showed him everything about it and in general is very knowledgeable and helpful. Double thumbs up!Suzanne F.

I showed up to pick up my rental at 8:30, the stores posted time to open. No one was there and no one answered when I tried to call. I left and went back a little while later and still no one was there after they called me to confirm my 8:30 pick up. Very disappointed.Jacqueline S.
