Check miles on the truck before dispatching then to self pick up customers. Because I picked up and needed to go when I did, I couldn’t wait for the store to open to correct the miles on the paper. Was over 2k miles off. The biggest hassle I’ve ever experienced with uhaul. I will most like not use this feature ever again, my first and last time. The concept was nice but hassle since the miles were wrong.

Clean in between use, the windshield was filthy and could see lots of bug smudges all over. I confirmed via phone that I would be paying a certain Fixed rate amount for the one way trip, and when I actually picked up, I was told another amount accounting for mileage. It should have been included in my reservation total instead setting me up for unexpected expenses. I almost cancelled my entire trip.

Upon drop off of tow trailer, uhaul charged me an additional $228 for wrong drop off location, but did not provide me with a trailer drop off location because of the multiple store pickup I had to do. Then upon return off the truck itself, there is a $133 charge for what reason? I don’t know

We rented a 10 foot truck. The air conditioner did not work in July on a 91 degree day! Also the tire pressure light came on. With truck loaded went back to rental place and they said they know about the tire pressure sensor and said it is only the sensor and can ignore it. Would have appreciated it if they let us know that when we picked it up. They said if I wanted air conditioning I could have the 26 foot truck. Not a help at all since we only needed a 10 foot truck. Will not rent from them ever again.

I had ordered furniture pads, but never received them. This is the second time in a row I rented an uhaul and the pads were never provided after i paid for them. The back looked ok, but once inside found some trash. The cab wasn't clean either.

We got an auto transport for a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser and when we loaded the vehicle, the straps wouldn't fit over the tires. We had to deflate the tires just for them to fit, which we shouldn't have had to do because we were never told anything about that. Overall a big hassle

I just want to let you know that you were a lifesaver at the last minute. I drove from Charlottesville VA to move some furniture from Spring Lake NC to Charlottesville VA. I had made a reservation with your competitor and when I arrived to get the truck, I was informed there was no truck available. I called UHaul customer service and the representative was able to locate a truck and it was literally on the same street as the house I was getting the furniture from. THANK YOU!!

My drop off location was undecided at time of rental. When I arrived at the closest location to drop off the truck, I called the given number. They told me my drop off location was about 30 miles from me and I needed to do the after hours drop off on the website. I called back and got a different representative who helped change my drop off location to a much closer spot. Overall the uhaul experience was good.

Offer an incentive if someone sends business your way I rented a u-haul 2 weekends ago for 2 days my friend rented a uhaul the next Saturday for 24 hrs and lastly my daughter is ranting a u-haul this weekend starting friday night for 2 days all rentals are from the same place thier should be an incentive for me if they tell you I sent them to you

I moved out my unit on 12/7/18. Only one week into the month. They made me pay the whole month storage. I wouldn’t recommend this place to no one. VERY VERY UPSET. What happened to prorating ?!?!?

The staff could have been more informative about the best option for me as a customer before renting base on my address vs after informing me upon returning all the savings I could of had, had he done this or that. It cost me more than usual. Also the paper work was mix up. To my understanding I signed for payment not for a judgement against myself. The signature was added to a different form. To purposely create a unnessary financial burden. Not to mention 19.99 dollar a day as advertised all over the truck. 19 dollars to 300 dollar plus gas. So I'm sure you can understand when you have payed 61$ than pay 40$ to remove some 3 year old e alert so you can rent again not to mention taking money unexpectedly could have been avoided. Tricking someone into promising to pay sounds more like bullish behavior than good customer service. The only thing exellect was the neatness of the store. The smiling face and the polite demeanor as they dig A financial hole for you later.

After reserving a truck over a week in advance, I was contacted multiple times and asked to move pick up locations more than once. I was paying by the mile so this was an issue for me. I was put through the inconvenience of having to change pick up locations, upgraded to a larger truck because what I reserved wasn’t available, only to be downgraded again to the initial truck I reserved when I was contacted for the THIRD time being asked to change pick up locations AGAIN. I was NOT happy with this situation. OncI finally got the truck, everything went smoothly , it was just getting to that point that was immensely aggravating.
