TAYA WI felt my weekend experience using the vehicle started very well but to my surprise, when I received notification from bank that additional funds were taken out of my account without notifying me. The final email copy of my receipt, left me somewhat speechless, and a lil disappointed. I returned to Uhaul site in hopes of getting assistance with matter, only to get directed the the 800 # I don't even recall the customer service rep introducing herself. The young lady, I believe she introduced herself as Laura or Lauren. My experience rating with her (rating scale range(1-5) with 5 being the highest) my survey would be a 5. She listened& detailed regarding the step to reporting my concern to General Manager. From the beginning - the vehicle was not cleaned properly. I didn't think much of that, because it felt it was minor. The gas gauge was a lil off & I didn't think much of ither. But I took my time to ensure the vehicle was well cleaned, the interior was wiped down gassed up properly. The rental process was not explained to me in detail. Example - $19.95 one day rental Second day rental wasn't explained which cost me almost $40.00. There has to be an malfunction with mileage gauge. It was noted that I travel 60 miles based on vehicle system calculation.. I precisely calculated my entire trip from the beginning to the end return of the vehicle. *9.5 from Uhaul to my home-2357 Oak Ridge Rd West *9.4 to 3701 W. Orange Avenue *2.5 from 3701 W. Orange Avenue to 300 Mabry St (Goodwill drop off) *10.9 to 2357 Oak Ridge Rd West *9.5 from my home to u haul stopping by the gate store to refill the vehicle, which I went a lil above what was required. At the moment, I don't adquately have the correct veribge to explain the disappointment my experience with Uhaul. I humbly suggest Uhaul look into future training for their staff. Akeia TJanie was a terrific representative. She saved the day due to problems with the reservation (double booking) and the traffic office not handling this appropriately.
PRESTON SWhen I made reservation for the truck to pick up at one location, they called me the day before and informed me the that truck was not available there or anywhere in Tallahassee. Then there was a cancellation and I was able to pick one at a different location across town. I was informed the truck had a quarter tank of fuel; but it only have just under 1/8 tank. After dropping off, I received receipt in which they charged me $30 fuel service fee and 6 gals fuel Since the tank was below 1/4 when I picked up, I should not be charged this. However, I will be willing to pay for 4 gals of fuel, not 6; that would be equal to 1/8 tank. I reached out via the customer response and also called to file complaint. Have not heard a response yet.

MELISSA MTruck smelled like smoke I ordered a mattress cover but was not provided one. Was told I’d have to drive to another location to get it which would have put me out of my miles. When I asked about it, I was just told to go to a different location and get it, there is no offer for a refund

Phil GThe actual location of where rentals are pick up , Inside the building was very clean and spacious. The staff was very kind and did her best to accommodate me. Inside the van itself was filthy. Dog hair was all over the driver and passenger seat. I had to use plastic covering on seats just to feel comfortable driving the van. We had to sweep the van before placing anything inside of it. Also, I felt I should've had a staff assisting me with checking out the van , taking picture on roof, outside, inside etc., of van. I was offered another van and was told by staff that one was even more dirty than the one I had. Provide part time staff to help those businesses keep their good names. I did not receive my receipt on Sunday, February 2 in email. I was told it was sent. Please send receipt. Thank you

Angela RTruck had 150k miles. Loud when accelerating sounds lake an exhaust leak. Smell of gas and exhaust in the cab area. Truck has very little pickup when pulling into traffic.

MALVERNA SThe local uhaul reps were great. Uhaul failed to have the truck at the location that we agreed on. When asked, uhaul refused to remedy the situation by bringing the truck to my location, and refused to compensate me for the extra miles that i had to drive, and refused to compensate me for my time. Uhaul expects customers to pay for their failures. For this reason, i wiĺ try to avoid using uhaul again, and will launch a small local campaign to discourage others also.

SHANNON MIf a customer has selected a particular location, do not change the location with a few hours notice without at least attempting to give the customer a courtesy call, even if it's an attempt to accommodate equipment. The changed location would have tripled the driving time if rush hour traffic was reasonable and more than doubled the distance. *This is not feedback for the selected location!!*

EUNICE GWe were given a truck with a roof that was leaking. We used it during Hurricane Helene. All of our stuff got wet and my books and electronical equipment got DESTROYED. When we returned it, I noted in the app that for thisbreason I did NOT consent for them to charge me. I would've expected an email tondiscuss what happened, instead I got an email saying "thanks for your payment, hope to see you again soon". Unacceptable. We have thousands in damages.

MAURICE HThis is feedback to the rental truck TT2012K. The truck was disgusting. The windshield was covered in dry dead bugs and dry bird poop. The odor in the cabin was barely tolerable. I truly felt disgusted driving the truck. It rained on the way to my location and the windshield wipes need to be replaced immediately. Thankfully, it was light rain or I would have pulled over. If I wasn't on a tight deadline, I would have gone with a different company.
