How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe staff was friendly and helpful. I made my reservations online for 10-foot truck to be picked up at 9:00 AM on Sunday. The first problem I encountered was the store didn't open until 10 AM. After the store open the clerk could not find the keys to the truck I reserved but later found them on the end of the counter from the day before but no one had checked them in or put them away. Once we had the key the truck had a dead battery. After the clerk made a phone call the up graded me to a larger truck with less than a quarter tank of gas with a range of 49 miles. I finally got out of the store around 10:45 and had to purchase gas. The reason I upgraded you to a "Below Average" score instead of poor is because of the staff at the store.

Jailyn BThe equipment was okay but there were dirty napkins on the floor of the truck. More importantly I did the online check in and they didn't check me in. I rented that truck for one day. And they reached out to me more than three weeks later saying I still had their truck, which clearly I did not. And then they over charged me for mileage. I drove less than 10 miles, actually 8.7, and was charged a nice round $20. I drive 1.1 miles one way from the U-Haul store and 1.5 the other way and got gas in the same parking lot as the U-Haul store. I want my overcharge refunded!
