I used the online reservation system & downloaded the uhaul app to arrange picking up the rental prior to business hours. However the key was not left available perched instructions. I spoke to multiple service reps and was told the key was not available. I had to wait an hour past my reservation time before picking up the truck. This is the 2nd time I have used this location to reserve a truck and neither time went as expected.

BARBARA WLet go of all your staff in Tallahassee, blind shop your Tallahassee locations, and revamp how Uhaul is no longer how it use to be. Over the years I have used uhaul more times then I like to admit for my moves and family, but after the unprofessionalism, changing location night before to one across town after reserving 2 months prior, customer service hanging up on me, location running an hour behind when trying to pick it up due to 1 person working, not having ANY dollies or furniture pads which was part of my reservation- Uhaul is no longer an option if/ when I need a moving company/ truck. This ruined any past experiences with just how horrible the whole experience was. Tallahassee Uhaul has some serious issues in professionalism, business etiquette, and honoring the uhaul brand as a moving truck business. God awful and I will not be using Uhaul anywhere near Tallahassee again if at all. This left a horrible taste in my mouth and made an.already stressful day that much more stressful in how all of it was conducted by uhaul.

Jamie DI and others had to wait over an hour. When I got my truck it was filthy in the cab. I want a refund because of this. No dollys. One person working and he didn’t seem interested in his job at all. I want someone to call me about this I was not happy.

David CStaff member was not at the door when it said open. Tried calling the “emergency number” and they were not able to get a hold of anyone. I had to walk around the building to even find someone. The lady that ended up being the person that was working the office was riding around in a golf cart smoking a cigarette and I had to ask her to help me. The U-Haul that was listed on my mobile checkin was not in the lot, which made me have to go inside in the first place. I then told the lady my name when inside the building and she said they didn’t have my U-Haul. Someone called her and then I guess sorted it out and gave me a different U-Haul. I was at the building for 35 minutes for a pickup. It was not a good experience at all.
Quinn RMore attention to detail on the front end and less socializing amongst staff would be nice. It took them 20 minutes to check me in when I already had an appointment. They also told me to go find my truck vs directing me to it after giving me my keys. It wasn't even in the lot. It was down on the grass. My mileage calculation after dropping my truck off after moving that morning was over by 32 miles. They said I drove it 40 miles when I only drove it 8 miles. They also stated they gave me a truck with 7/16 of a tank of gas, when it only had 1/16. My final bill was $148 when it should have been approximately $49. I would like to seek a credit back to my credit card for the overpayment. Best,

Marc BI arrived at my scheduled time, and no one was there, despite the building being open. Shortly after entering, the police arrived, which made the situation even more stressful and upsetting. I then had to wait an additional two hours just to receive the truck I had reserved. As a result, I incurred unnecessary expenses, including paying my movers for two hours of wasted time. Overall, this situation cost me approximately $300, and being offered only a $50 credit does not adequately compensate for the inconvenience, stress, and financial loss I experienced.

Victor HThis was the 2nd time I rented from this location. Both times they did not javelin the equipment I ordered. Regular dolly, appliance dolly and 12 pads. We returned the truck 30 minutes early. Spoke to the individual when we handed the keys to him and the next day I was contacted to say I had not returned the 26’ truck. Thankfully that was corrected quickly but really? This Southwood Barcelona Lane location can do sooo much better!
Stacie BI rented movers through U haul and the never showed. Leaving me stranded to pack my whole home by myself. I have no friends or family that lived in the area, my wife is pregnant and unable to lift anything. U haul fucked me

DASHIMER WThe passenger door needs to be fixed, as it does not seal. My passenger was rained on, and when it wasn't raining there was quite a bit of airflow. The door was difficult to close. In addition, toward the beginning of our 2-hr drive home the engine light came on. I called the 800 number and they advised that as long as the truck remained driveable I should keep driving it home.

STEVEN NThe truck I rented REALLY needed work on it. I don’t blame the guy in the office, but the truck was dirty, while driving it sounded like a helicopter was inside the cab and the gear shift needs repair as well. I REALLY appreciate the help that I received when I arrived at the office and found out that the van I rented was not available. I ended up with the truck mentioned above for the night until a van was available.
Mary Wthe uhaul website allowed me to book a truck for mobile pick up a week in advance. the night before my 8am pick up, I receive a text that mobile pick up is not available and my pick up has been moved to 9am. I had movers scheduled for 8am and had to reschedule. when I went to pick up the truck and asked about the dolly i ordered with it, they said oh yeah they don't have those either and we can drive to a location 5 miles across town if we still want one. you would think they could have told me that in the email notice about no more mobile pick up?? uhaul, please do better. that was not a smooth experience.

Tammy FI reserved my truck, furniture dolly and utility dolly at a different location. I was told 48hours before my reservation that I would have to come to this location which was 6 miles away vs the 0.7miles I planned for. This change delayed all my plans. Then upon arrival for pickup I requested a discount for the inconvenience. I was given $20 off. But still was charged for additional miles I had to drive due to the change they made to my reservation. I paid. After paying I asked if my dolly's are on the truck and the guy nonchalantly tells me they don’t have any available but it’s not a big deal because I wasn’t charged for them. The ac in the truck was blowing hot air. Icing on the cake, I called to see if I can drop the truck off at my original reservation spot as it’s closer to where I moved. I was advised it would be an extra charge and I won’t know the charge price until I get there.

HENRY LThis location far exceeded the pickup location in terms of expectations. This dealer apologized for the poor experience I had with the pickup location, and I was told that individuals like that shouldn't even represent the uhaul company. The dealer here made sure I received my promised free miles, which I greatly appreciate.
