We tried to reserve a truck from one of your dealers in Whitehall, Mi., but, the UHaul employee there was unfriendly and almost rude when quoting rates with such a manner that it was almost a dare to rent truck, sort of a take-it-or-leave-it air.So we tried the office at Shelby, Mi. The UHaul employee who answered, Tailor. was positive, friendly. knowledgeable and efficient. He quickly assessed the places we were going, mileage, etc., and determined we could rent a truck the following day. His attitude was so good that although going to Shelby was out of our way, we reserved the truck on the spot. You need more Taylors who know how to treat customers with respect and forthrightness. Buy more U-Haul equipment and have a little extra on hand at all U-Haul locations. This makes it easier and more convenient for customers to drive to closer locations to pick them up. It's a win-win scenario. No numbers to make that justification. It just makes perfect sense!Ashok Z.
We had originally scheduled our equipment pick up in Hart, MI. Fortunately, I stopped by a day early to have my vehicle pre-checked and discovered that a trailer was not available. He provided me some numbers to call to solve the problem, which was helpful and I was redirected to Shelby. The Shelby location was great. He was very thorough with the hook up and light checks. My only concern/complaint is that this establishment made absolutely NO attempt to comply with current state recommendations regarding COVID restrictions. There was no sign requiring masks for entry and indeed the proprietor had no mask and no signs of any masks were seen anywhere. He allowed 6 people to be in a very small office simultaneously, making physical distancing impossible. At the end of our transaction he extended his hand to shake hands with me. That is the first time I have seen anyone do that since last May and is completely inappropriate. His lack of concern for the welfare of me and my family was horrifying.RUSSELL CLYDE C.

Tell all employees that there are 6 blankets/pads per package, not 12. I ordered 24 blankets and only received 12, As a result, some of our furniture was scuffed up and indented.Karen H.

I've used U-Haul for many years as a mobile kitchen operator but after my most recent hassle where the reservations, the complete lack of customer service, and general attitude of the staff at this location I will in the future used Penske for my service needs.
