This location is UNSAFE. There is a homeless encampment 10 feet from where I had to stand and take pictures of the back of the truck. Who is to keep people from taking shelter in the truck and stealing the moving blankets? There was no key Dropbox. Very shady dealings going on in the parking lot.
DALLAS SThere was only one person working at the gas station. He was trying to serve U-Haul customers, and gas station customers. The U-Haul customers in front of me have been waiting an hour before they got there truck. I used the app and still had to wait on the owner to get me the keys. Also they did not have the blankets for padding that I ordered.
Albert WI had to come to this gas station/U-Haul for a dolly, he didn’t know how to do it so I left a $50 deposit for a $7.00 dolly but that was fine. Then we dropped it the truck and trailer off. While at the gas station, we filled the truck to the half way point. We had to park the truck because he didn’t know how. Then he charged us $10 for the dolly- I said I thought it was $7 and he said tax, $3.00 tax???? But he gave that back with an attitude. My credit card was charged $14. And some change and he said he didn’t know why. I call U-HAUL and they said it was for gas. They called the gas station/u-haul place and he refunded it back to me. Had I not questioned things I would have been overcharged almost $18. Very unacceptable!!! Very unhappy. Thank you for allowing me to explain.
