Advise customer that they will need to provide the receiver hitch stinger, ball, and pin. I had those items at home, an hour away, but didn't see anything in the agreement about those items not being included with the combination pickup/dolly rental.David S.

Upon my return of the Uhaul trailer, the return destination was closed on a Saturday at 1130 hrs. This caused additional stress to my move! Luckily,another Uhaul dealer was able to help me!This original return location closed at 0930 on Saturday! MOST PEOPLE MOVE ON WEEKENDS! Please do better! Overall the entire experience was ridiculous! I dealt with 2 other locations before landing in Salina. The one way reservation was a joke. The truck wasn't there and was sending me 1 he away to pick up. Then McHenry location in town rental had a dead battery. They didn't bother to call around for replacement until I came in to inquire if truck was ready. Very unprofessional. Other customers felt the same. I reserved a 10' box truck to move some things from storage. The truck was ready and waiting when I arrived. I reserved online so it only tooK 5 minutes at the counter and I was on my way. It took even less time when I returned it. This location is very clean and easy to access. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again if the need arises. Great service!Frances M.

This is the third time I rented equipment and the pickup location has been changed at the last minute ( 1 day before). And I am notified via a phone call. This is a real inconvenience as I, like most people, make arrangements and are under time constraints to move. What would help is that as we are reserving the equipment, we can see online if it is available or not. I was able to pick up a day before, so that was helpful.Arturo D.

The people at Superior Self Storage know what it takes to Move, they are knowledgeable and helpful in making sure your move goes smooth and safe. I had many unseen problems that required the need to keep the truck for extra days, they called each day to check on how the move was going and to reassure me that keeping the truck longer was not a problem and knowing how hard it is from time to time can be stressful but not to worry that Superior Self Storage is here to help. The location service was great but I had issues with my reservation being changed so many times from the time I placed my order. I originally booked a 5x8 enclosed cargo trailer but got multiple updates to different sizes and pick up locations that didn't work for me. At the end, it all worked out but we had to pick up from a far location and return it there so that was a little inconvenient. In the future, it would be nice to be able to book the type of rental and location, and truly get it without it changing.Jehawn R.

U-Haul should change its practice of merely "reserving" a moving truck for a specific date/time/location. Since hired labor is sometimes required (especially for household moves like mine), the timing of those arrangements are dependent on actually securing the U-Haul truck at the desired time and location. To hear only 36 hours before moving day that I had to drive 25 minutes instead of 5 to get my truck and it wouldn't be ready until 10:30 am instead of 8:30 am seriously messed with my scheduled moving labor for the day both at the starting and ending homes. U-Haul should change this policy or at the very least make it explicitly clear on the website at the time of booking. I have to extend to many thanks though to Susan at Superior Self Storage in Salida for taking good care of me and working things out so I could pick up the truck at 8:30 am as I had originally planned. Their a/c was broken so I felt really bad for them! However, she was so helpful with making sure I didn't get charged extra for mileage when U-Haul changed my pickup location- then wanted to charge me for the extra miles! Happy with this location, extremely unhappy with U-Haul. Second time this happened, never using U-Haul againLori F.

The U-haul reservation process is a joke. I requested a reservation for manteca, ca and for lodi. I cancelled, the requested modesto, and got west Sacramento. Cancelled again, called salida, got salida. Then, they didn't have the 26' truck i requested, so for downgraded to a 20'. It cost me one extra trip and time to get the move completed. Fix this, or Uhaul will surely flounder.Jorge B.

The trailer i rented was very old and the doors wouldn't open i had to use a tire iron to open it. The door mechanism was rusted shut. I applied wd40 to it to free it up. This was the only trailer of its size in my area which i find hard to believe. I was only 2 hours and a few minutes after the 24hr mark yet i had to pay for 2 full days. I dont think that is acceptable. I would have glady paid a late fee, Unfortunately i wasnt given that option. Sincerely, James StockdaleJames S.
